I really would invest that money somewhere else 😆 If I had to make a show...I'd give the money to someone else to manage it, since I have no amazingly creative idea myself.Disappointing answer👎🏼...I hadn't expected this from such a die hard Premika of all ppl....maybe you aren't as die hard a fan as I thought of after all. Lol, your response made me smile, especially the thumbs-down wala smiley 😆 I confess that I'm a hoax of a Premika. Finally parda faash hogaya 😆

Hiya, i hope you still want to answer questions..😛 Just in time, Vini, today's my last day ;)

So i read from the previous questions asked, you're a Lost fan huh..Used to love that show myself..till well.. yea..😆 After season two went on air i went off..😆 Just coudn't relate to the fact that there was a hatch in the middle of a deserted island..😕 That aside, season one was wonderful..was glued to my TV screen whenever it was on..so freaking exciting..😃 Hm, there was a reason the hatch was there. And if they wouldn't have introduced a sci-fi angle to the story, there wouldn't be much more than Season 1 to go on from, so for the show to progress, there had to be a previous story to the Island, and that's what the hatch brought forth. Have already said my piece regarding the show on the previous few pages and so will make peace by saying different strokes for different folks ;)
So i have afew question related to Lost. Hope it was not asked already.
Were you satisfied with the final episode..? It was alright. Neither awful, nor amazing. The characters were done justice to, the Island, no. Half and half sorta deal, at least for me (:
Do you think the 2.5 hrs was worth every minute of it..? Acting-wise, definitely. As for the story, I could've personally done without the last 12-15 minutes.
Shd it have been longer, shorter or it was just right..? The writers decided how long they'd take to show what they had to, and I'm okay with whatever they feel does justice to their story (:
Choose:
Whose friendship/relationship you like more? Why?
Payal & Bharti OR Rohan & Isha Payal and Bharti by a million miles (: Their friendship is something else, more so because of Payal who stuck with Bharti through all the good and bad times, while she didn't ever demand anything in return. I often think that this was an all-giving relationship from Payal's side rather than give and take.
Ruchika or Huzeifa? Why? Huzeifa. He's much more entertaining with his problems.
Isha or Ruchika? Why? Isha, much more practical than Ruchika.
Isha or Huzeifa? Why? Hmmm, I like both of them and can't think of a reason to pick one over the other, so will back out of this one :P
Notice no Rohan there becos you already said Rohan's your fave character..:)
Armaan/Bharti or RoSha? Why? Rohan-Isha (: I liked Armaan/Bharti initially as they were becoming friends, but found that the development of Armaan's feelings for her happened a little too soon/fast. Had expected it to take some time especially with a show like BB, so I never really turned into a full ArBi fan. Meanwhile, Rohan-Isha's development couldn't be done any better as of yet 😊
(i don't know if you're even like ArBi, but will just ask..😆 i mean cos i think you watch BB right?)
AJ or Gyaan Amarjeeetaaay! 😛
Raichura or Vasooli? 😆 Raichura 😆 I wasn't watching the show by the time OK and Vasooli came around, and Raichura's teeth and smile were just a class apart, so I have to pick him 😆
Random questions
How you discovered IF? Typed 'Sindoor Tere Naam Ka' in google. A show that used to air on Zee 😛
If you had three wishes, what would they be? Going to heaven. My room cleans itself up. I get organized.
Wish for a season two of Rishta? Who doesn't!? 😛
These set of questions aren't mine..but i find them fun..😆 so will ask, coudn't resist :P
Are eyebrows considered facial hair? No idea 🤔 Don't feel the need to classify them though, so they can be on their own 😛
If a baby's leg pops out at 11:59PM but his head doesn't come out until 12:01, which day was he born on? The day he comes out in entirety, head and all.
In the song Yankee Doodle, is he calling the horse or the feather "macaroni"? Hardly remember the song now, no guesses 😆
Is there a time limit on fortune cookie predictions? Depends on whether you believe the prediction will come true to begin with or not 😆
Since bread is square, then why is sandwich meat round? Because the sausage/meat was round to begin with?
Do they have the word "dictionary" in the dictionary? Pretty sure they would.
Can you daydream at night? I tire from daydreaming in the day and sleepy soundly at night.

When Atheists go to court, do they have to swear on the bible? This isn't actually done in most U.S courts anymore, so no.
Why is vanilla ice cream white when vanilla extract is brown? Because the extract isn't overwhelming enough for the creme to change its colour?
Can animals commit suicide? I don't think so, unless the animal is mentally deranged and might cause harm to itself.
What do you do when you see an endangered animal that is eating an endangered plant? I don't see endangered animals or endangered plants.

If ghosts can walk through walls and glide down stairs, why don't they fall through the floor? Don't believe in 'ghosts' to begin with [:p]
Is it rude for a deaf person to talk (sign) with their mouth full of food? Don't think so.
If money doesn't grow on trees then why do banks have branches? Because they have to find some organizational way of dealing with the money.
When two people marry, they say, "you may kiss the bride". What do they say if two MEN get married? Substitute bride for partner.
How can something be "new" and "improved"? if it's new, what was it improving on? It's an improved version of the old thing, but a new thing in itself, so it's new and improved 😛
Can a short person "talk down" to a taller person? Yes, since talk down is an expression, it can be employed by anyone regardless of their height.
If a bald person works as a chef at a restaurant, do they have to wear a hairnet? Yep, I think so.

Ok, no more! 😆

How fast do hotcakes sell?
If Mars had earthquakes would they be called marsquakes?
If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them?
Why put a towel in the dirty clothes basket if when you get out of the shower you are clean?
If you are asked to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and your the main witness, what if you say "no"?
When your photo is taken for your driver's license, why do they tell you to smile? If you are stopped by the police and asked for your license, are you going to be smiling?
Okay i shall ask no more. You don't have to answer all if you don't want to..😆
Anways enjoy yea! :)

Thanks for all the questions, Vini!

Meera, time for you to pick a new matchmaker! 😛

Hey, congrats on being MOTW! We've never interacted before so I hope you don't mind me asking questions....but I saw the thread and read the discussions about Lost, so I couldn't help myself, lol....

I've got some Lost-related questions for you...

What was your favt. moment from the finale?
What was your saddest moment in the finale?
What are your feelings on the revelation that the flash-sideways/alternate timeline turned out to be the afterlife/purgatory/or the 'waiting room'?
Did you think that Micheal, despite all he'd done, deserved to be in the church?
On a scale of one to ten, what is your rating on the music used in the finale?
According to you the best aspect of the show as a whole was:
The various mysteries?
The characters?
The acting?
The locales?
The music?
The cinematography?
The plot-twists?

Your favt. infamous catch-phrase from the show:
WAAAAAAAAAAAALLLT?
"Where's my baaaabyyy"?
or
"Don't tell me what I can't do"?

Who was the more intriguing and better acted character:
John Locke or Ben Linus?

What was ultimately the theme of the show:
Science vs. Faith?
Redemption?

I personally was a HUGE fan of the show till about season 3 (that was when, IMO, the show stopped being about the characters and was completely overtaken by the dead end mysteries)....After finding out that this was the last season, I caught up with the previous seasons (for the most part) only to see how it will all end....I have to say that while I was quite disappointed that none of the questions that were raised were answered outrightly, the fact that the main characters got the resolution to their individual story lines was more than satisfying to watch....I guess they were trying to depict that in the struggle b/w science and faith, faith is ultimately the winner.....There are things in life that will always remain a mystery, there will always be puzzles we can't solve, the only thing constant is the belief in our abilities to continue to search for the truth and our faith in other people we encounter through life - it's the connections that we make that really matter and that's the only thing worth being given the answers to.....That final scene with Jack laying on the ground watching his friends leave the island on the plane, as he breathed his last breath and the final shot of his eye closing was a moment of pure cinematic brilliance....As soon as Vincent came up beside him to make sure that he doesn't die alone was when I had just lost it....Not to mention the music really set the mood.....For that scene alone I want to rate the entire series a 10/10 😆😆

Woah Jack died in the finale?? LOL somehow I can't muster any empathy for any of these characters anymore :S.....I guess a disconnect is a disconnect completely...lol

Shumi, you're such a huge Lost fan? lol.....I agree with your line about 'dead end mysteries'....for me personally, that had started happening in season two only.

^ Anu, yeah Jack died in the finale....He pretty much came full circle....As far as I remember the first shot of the pilot was of his eye opening, and the last was of his eye closing....Honestly, that was the first time I'd actually felt something for his character.....

I thought there were parts of the episode that felt very hokey and artificial, but I was totally crying at that moment, lol....

The show, IMO, had the potential to be the best show in the history of TV, but unfortunately it will most likely be remembered for something far less all thanks to the creators writing themselves into corners that they ultimately couldn't get out of....alas.....But it was still a nice journey for me, I don't regret watching the show....Heck, I'm even going to miss it.....There wasn't a show like this before and there probably won't be in the future.....

The pilot was so cool *nostalgic sigh*....So much potential to the original group of characters....all wasted in convoluted dead end mysteries.

This show was indeed truly different....that's what I was saying earlier...but it didn't live up to it's potential in my opinion....not at all after season one....I stopped feeling for the characters...they lost credibility in my eyes.

Anyways, chalo good you enjoyed the finale....I'd thought about reading up on it a few days back....but thanks to you I got a quick update here only....LOL...so thanks for that.

It's sad that shows with such potential back themselves into corners all in the name of trying to make it more "mysterious" *rolls eyes*....Heroes was another disappointment for me after Lost....I think I shouldn't bother with these kind of 'mystery/sci-fi' shows anymore....they can't even manage to hold on to a basic plot as they chase around after random "mysteries"...what's the point of telling a story if you yourself start to forget what your stories/characters were all about to begin with? When you lose the basic essence of them? Character evolution is something different and totally taking off on random tangents on senseless whims is different....I find it quite disappointing....maybe it's just me *shrugs*

Hey Anu....I found the final scene on YT....

I totally agree with you about Heroes....but I was never as connected to those characters as I was to the characters on Lost, so I guess that was the main reason I haven't bothered checking out the finale to that show yet *shrugs*....And yeah, when it comes to these sci-fi/mystery based shows, simplicity is the way to go....complexity is more interesting, but it is rarely ever pulled off properly.....

Wow, I couldn't make head or tail of that scene😆😆.....I guess I'm too out of the loop....but the ending was touching indeed....although I can't understand the how/when/why of it, but it was a sad death scene.

They brought back some of the ppl dead from season one I noticed....unless they were back in later seasons....which I don't know😆

@bold: I think it's ironic....complexity by definition is complex yet I think it can be surprisingly simple to maintain if one holds on to the basic premise at the center...to quote a line from my fav. show Bones here, "the center must hold"...simplicity on the other hand is tougher....to maintain simplicity while still retaining interest....in today's world of instant gratification....initially complex plots may seem interesting...but they seem to fizzle out quite quickly.....but if someone manages to retain simplicity of a plot year in and year out....while never losing the essence of the basic storyline/characters/character development....that is a remarkable feat in my opinion....one I admire....I think the hardest thing is consistency....maintaining consistency of characters.....very veryyyyyyy few shows ever manage it.

Wow I dunno if that made any sense....lol....I'm rambling on now....should go sleep.....

P.S....btw Heroes had a finale too?? Did that end already as well?😲 Wow😆
