Amazing post..much needed!!!
All da suggestion are amazing

1.Please improve the picture quality.

2.Yes..I too want special background music for Kabir & Kaya scenes.

3. I realy realy want them to show what Reporters early promos conveyed...I want bold,reckless Kabir & stubborn Ananya!

4.The show name is 'Reporter' ...i prefer to see how they will gather news instead of conveying it.Want out door adventour.

5.Kabir is enough to gv rough tough attitude. I dont want da same attitide from Khan & Malvika all time.Cone on..journalist are also human.They should show anger,impatience etc.

6.This is da short series of 5 month...hope da dorectors keep in mind dt each & every dailouge of all character matter to us and specially the Time!

Such apt suggestions guys!! Agree to all of them specially -

1.There needs to be more connect between Ananya and her mom (even I feel more connect between ananya and her dad though he is not physically there) - And thankfully I can see this coming - in one of the BTS videos.

@najma - I u/stand wot u r saying regarding casual talks between a mom and a daughter but by lack of connect I dont mean they should hug and cry every now and then. What I mean is there should be more communication than just talking about what should be cooked or have dinner. In the past four days so much happened in Ananya's life - She covered a major story and even lost it at hands of power, her idol is her new boss and she is gonna work with him...and he even talked rudely to her in the very first meet. All this happened that affected her emotionally but her mom does not know much about any of these emotions she went through. So i feel their should be more communication between Ananya and her mom regarding her work, her career, her idolism for Kabir and what her mom thinks of it...all these things will add more perception to the show.

2. That the side characters need be more likeable layered and interesting - AGREED!

3. Fixing the makeup issues - Much needed! And the picture quality too as many feel.

4.The need of more debates/concentration on more social issues than just sensational ones like sex racket etc, some outdoor shoots than just office politics.

5. And this point raised by Lekz - I much agree - "I do feel that Rajeev could tone down his larger than life demeanour a bit...guess that camouflages his natural flair ...just a very critical observation..." I think we have seen Rajeev as a perfectionist so even slightest of issue with his performance means a lot to us 😳

6. Some good bg music - Totally agree...the show is lacking in terms of sound quality too...sometimes the bg music makes the dialogues inaudible. We need better bg score.

7. Show more of Kabir's past...how he started up as a journalist. We have seen what motivates Ananya to be in this field but what was Kabir like when he was a fresher. Was he just like Ananya? 😳

I agree with make up part 😆

Ananya's mother has not yet overcome the loss of her husband(not sure if he dead or imprisoned😕) she is leading her life for the sake of her children, she do not seem to involve with them much but she does care for them, she dont pamper them which is fine cos meri mum bhi mujhe pamper nhi karti 😆

i would love to see The Debate Hour at 9 with Kabir sharma 😆

i would love see Kabir's past, cos everyone's past must have a do in there present n future😛

its not some family type drama so i am not bothered about emotional connect, they are emotional where they are supposed to be like ananya towards her mom, we may see emotional bonds in future when they will be covering some stories, getting trapped etc😛

i would love to see Ronie as strong suport character alongside panditji n bhaskar, i want bhaskar not ot go away forever

i would love to see sunny tickling bones more often in presence of Kabir😉😆 kabir-sunny scenes will be too hilarious😆

Very nice post Malika. Agree with all your suggestions and like the way you presented them.

Till now I could get emotionally connected with Ananya and padit ji and that guy in the studio who is Ananyas friend. They are genuinely good people.

Kritika and Rajeev are brilliant actors. Kittu is versatile and can act without much efforts. She manages so well between serious and bubbly side of her character. Hope she gets more significance good dialogues and screen space. Its too early to judge and comment on this part. I want them to bring more real and positive stories from the world of journalism

After KTLK this is the show I look forward to watch.

First off, amazing post!!

I agree with all of your points..

Though it's been only 4 episodes but it is really lacking something to grasp the interest of the viewers.

I am finding the side characters over-doing their parts a lot, some should be kept normal in the neutral zone too. It is either a negative character or a positive one.

It is becoming a little difficult to connect with the characters.. hoping the future episodes rectify this.

I'm glad the Cvs is listening to us!! Perhaps they will show more outdoor shoots!! They should show the story of Kabir ..his struggling days and how did he became established as a journalist!! Was he jolly like Ananya during his initial struggling days!! They should also show his working relationship between Ananya's father!!
