Hola amigos!! How is everyone doing here. I hope you all had a great week and enjoyed the first week of our now common point of interest 'Reporters' 😃 Since our show has completed its first week with tonite's epi I thought why not open a suggestions post for the show. We all have praised Rajeev, Kritika and the other people involved in the show, over the past four days. We know the whole cast and crew is doing a great job. But at the same time it's very important to provide a true and a reasonable feedback to the makers so that we can get a better and improved product in the coming weeks. And I feel no feedback is complete without some constructive criticism. So if you feel there is anything you don't like or you feel is amiss from the show please feel free to share in this post. But there are only two rules of this post:
1. Dont bash any actor/character/makers.
2. Don't forget rule 1.
So here it goes guys...my share of suggestions I would like to give to the makers and the rest of cast and crew after my one week of viewership and I'd be brutally honest at this...brutally because I LOVE Rajeev to the T and I hate criticizing his show like anything but i feel its necessary as a viewer. I know its just been a week but we need to make some things clear since the beginning because this is a mini series and we cant afford to wait for improvements. If you feel it...say it! So
1. First and foremost, cvs I really feel the emotional connect is a bit amiss in the show. There is everything but something still feels incomplete. And that is probably because all characters in the show are TOO practical. Its strange the only emotional/family ties you showed was that of Ananya but I didn't feel much for that too. Ananya's mother seems aloof from her emotions and there is a lack of emotional connect between the mother and daughter which is very strange because this bond should have been the point of focus provided if Kabir has anything to do with Ananya's father and her family. I would love to see more bonding between Ananya's small and incomplete family. How they are coping without her dad and more meaning full scenes between Ananya and her mother.
2.You also need to make the side characters more interesting. There is not even a single character from the support cast I as a viewer can really feel strongly about except pandit ji who i feel might play an important role in bringing Ananya and Kabir on the same page. Rest all the side characters lack depth and insight. Be it malvika, Manav or the other two girls. They are real but not insightful.
3. You NEED to work on the makeup team. Honestly Rajeev's makeup is really not upto the mark. I have seen all his previous shows and all his movies and believe me on this he does not need so much of foundation that it starts hampering the expressiveness of his face. At times his face looks quite stiff that is I can bet is not his fault as an actor but the fault of the makeup man who does a pathetic job. Please tone down on that foundation. PLEASE!
4.We seriously need more intelligent characters on the show. Else it's better to quickly convert it into a love story coz the story does lack that crispiness which only a very strong villain or very shrewd anatagonist can bring.
5. Why there is so much focus on 'showing off' in the show. Not all dialogues need to be said with smirks or tilted faces or rolled up eyes. Please don't make that so regular. Kabir looks good when he uses his signature smirks and undertones to show his attitude but it does not suit every charchter. I hate seeing a khalid or a malvika doing that just to show off an attitude. THEY CAN TALK NORMALLY like normal people do without twisted words or tilted necks.
##Suggestions for Rajeev##
1. First of all first things first - Rajeev, I don't think anyone can play this character with the perfection and finise with which you are playing it. Kabir was written for you and you already own it. I just feel you need to loosen up a bit more and let your natural charm reflect from Kabir just the way it used to ooze and reflect from Sujal/Rajveer I know its a return on tv after a long time and that performance pressure does become visible sometimes that make it look you are putting in a lot of effort or a sense of self-consciousness in your body language. So just one suggestion, we all know you will do complete justice to Kabir...so forget all apprehensions and don't shy from coming to your 'natural' self...the loosened up ...the breezy...the relaxed version of you. 😳 Just like you were here...

1. First of all I would like to say you go girl!!! You are ROCKING as Ananya. I am loving how you are controlling your chirpiness to bring the originality in Ananya. Keep up the good work and maintain that balance between Ananya's serious and chirpy side. Its very important.

That's it guys...what I really felt about the improvement areas for the show. And now the ground is open for you to add your povs. Will await some good and constructive ideas for our makers.
