yes i agree tr is cliched to some extent.. as in rich girl and poorguy fall in love.. but even AY is completely cliched. i mean how many stories have we read about a bet beween two guys to see if they can go out with a girl..and then the guy goes and falls in love with her actually and then she comes to know about the bet.. thats enough cliched as well. and how can u say that yuvi ashi never let their personal problems disturb anyone? if you dont remember, they would constantly abuse each other when ashi came back from her 'confinement' (after sid told her that yuvi did all this cuz of a bet).. and the concert i sanganer was a success ONLY because tia and ranveer played.. as soon as they heard their song, they realised that this is more important than anything else. and tia ranveer have been given much more footage than ashi yuvi. they had more fights and jealousies but thats only because their love is a lot more passionate.. everytime they try to forget each other they somehow manage to fall in love all over again.. that never happened with ashi yuvi. i mean sometime in the middle they didnt even show the ashi yuvi whistle background for some months.doesnt it mean that their relationship isnt strong enough? and ranveer is NOT unreal.. he came to maurya with a fierce determination to take revenge on sumit ahuja.. how can that be unreal? yes he was too saintly i agree , and yes they showed way too much about it. but what we fail to understand is his pain for which he is doing everything..at the end he did realise that he had made a waste of every search.. but it was all because of his damn ferocious love for his father,.. and i dont see how that is unreal.. now ashi SHE IS unreal.. i mean cumon she uses sarcasm as a defense mechanism. she doesnt want to show anybody how she feels..she acts like a complete brat thinking she is superior to everyone.. that is unreal. it clearly shows evryone that she is pining for something and her atitude is only a cover up for her very unstable character.
• nd coming to mads's point.. how is ashi yuvi's relationship different at all? best friends turning into lovers is practiclaly the case everywhere... they are different like the north and the south pole and as i mentioned in my first point, everything in their relationship is cliche. yes tia ranveer;s relationship is cliche as well.. but the major difference is that it was intense. i mean all the crying epis where tia returned ranny's gifts and stuff just showed you howintense it was, and how passionate they were for each other. they defied all the un written rules in the imaginary so called rulebook of love by dating milions of other guys and girls.. but they always came together.. and never did one of them forget the other..

3) falling in love out of love...etc...i will differ slightly with shreyasi here...in saying that TR never fell out of love...even when they tried to hate each other be angry with each other..they never succeeded at that...they could not stop themselves from loving eachother not matter what...they would get hurt seeing the other person with someone...but still couldnt hate eachtother....even when they dated eachtother....they could never truely care abt the new person....couldnt get over each other...AY one the other hand seem to manage to do it pretty easily....uv was actually bothered when shyla liked his friend...or when latty didnt turn out like her wanted her too...TR had never bothered abt that...they could never truely focus on the new person...with uv ashi...there were so many times when the went back to "i will kill u" mode that its hard to say that they didnt fall out of love...they just stopped caring about each other as more than friends...and sometimes even as friends...like when they were only focused on revenge as was the case with the tennis match or the spider...AY might have fought more than TR but their kind of fighting was only passion to win not passion toward eachother...they would get really unsensitive/uncaring towards each other during these times...enjoying hurting eachother....that really bothered me.....obviously tht shows how much u hav failed to understand wat ay were all about!.....of fine u think ay took pleasure in hurting each other.....i think the same wid tr.......i dont understand.....wat intensity n passion hav u all been talking abt?? wat shows u the intensity n passion ina relationship? weeping like tulsi n parvati? staring at each other 4 one whole episode? .......if thts ur defination of intnsity n passion then i agree.....ay dint hav ne intensity n passion in them!......bt as far i knw the meaning of intensity n passion in a relationship........it doesnt lie in the amount of tears it lies in each others eyes n body language......its wen u knw by luking at sumone tht the other is in sum trouble....... smriti n mads hav better explained the meaning of passion so do reffer to it!

4) Ashi-unreal : i dont think ashi is unreal....but she is also not someone that i would want to be friends with..and this is just my opinion...nd in my opnion i can never stand nebody like tia 4get being frnds but even i agree that she has a big superiority complex....she thinks she is above everyone and like to put everyone else ard her down...mock them...i could have tried to understand her being sacrcastic with tia thts the same opnion abt tia 4 me......if u think ashi has a superiority complex n tia dusnt i understand how honest comment is tht!...she was enemy acc to ashi...or even pri..who she constantly called motiroli inspite of knowing that this was a problem for her...may be because she was enemy camp...may be uv fell in the same camp acc to heru talk of pri.....again do u need instances how mean tia was to her time n time n how ashi has supported her? 4got cheerleading episode etc.....??....but where did her mom fall then...her mom truely loved her...yet ashi hurt her so many times...hurting sonia once or twice would have been a mistake...what do u call it when it happens over and over again....ashi hit on her prof because he was interested in sonia...she continued to go after puneet even after she knew he liked her mom.....who said so? 5) intensity of love: intensity of love may not be in staring at each other...but i feel its surely there in case when u hurt when seeing the other person hurt...when u would rather that u go through the pain than the person u love...when not being able to be with that person hurts....there is loads more to intensity in love....and TR showed this always...all these things...in AY only uv showed this to some extent....it didnt would be really bothered when ashi was upset...with ashi when uv was upset...it would more or less be freinds kind of advice....she was ...a slight bit sad...but never hurt hurt when uv was hurt....wat wud make u feel ashi was terribly hurt or just a bit hurt? jus coz she cudnt cry at the drop of a hat like tia.....proves ashi was never tht hurt n she never felt uv's pain??ashi wasnt sumone who'll hold hands n wipe ur tears n hug u n say hey things will b fine.......rather she was sumone who'll instead of doing this jus think practically n fix the problem rite away 4 u.....or either make the person strong frm within n urge him to fite out.........tht wat shes done ALWAYS 4 uv! as for tia dating arjun....she did that partly to get over ranveer...or rather try to get over thim..and partly to show him that her life went ahead aft his revenge thing....she wanted to stop dating arjun...but she was scared because arjun had warned her that he was going to hurt ranveer..there was a time when she would be really scared and ask ranveer if arjun did anything to him...as for shyla...ranveer never dated her...abt reva...he dated to make tia jealous...just like uv dated latty and shyla to make ashi jealous...ashi too just like tia dated aditya to get over uv...

sumone said sujal n kashish were like ay......cant stop laffing at this 😆 😆 😆 u really think so?....infact they resembled tr rite away.....kth was a love story of sujal kashish all the way.....the even started off jus like tr ....fell in luv at the first site.....then due sum misunderstandings they fought.....n then falling in love n falling out of love continues till today 😆 everyone can now understand whether they resembled ay or tr 😆

hey thats not true .. tia was willing to risk her life for ranveer... she went in the middle of the night to pay the ransom money all alone... and was willing topay ranvirs fees so that he is no longer a shcolar ship student.. ther by couldnt be harassed by shashank sir any more....

New...I didn't read all ur character 'reality' assesment but I did happen to read ranny's and since I have been fuming about this bit for the past year of watching remix...I decided to put my 2 knuts in

I really agree....I think I could bear watching ranny in season1 because with all his saintly ideals and how he could do no wrong...he still had that fiendish revenge factor for his character. He wanted to that revenge badly and that was the only thing with which I could identify or empathise with the character. Because everything else about him was all so saintly "good" it was irritating to watch him. So he didn't bother me much in season1. But in season2...they took away the only great thing regarding "Ranveer's plotline"...they resolved that revenge thing when he found out Sumeet wasn't his father's murderer or whatever.

And that's when Ranny's character was too jarringly sweet...I was waiting for him to do something wrong...have a little flaw...do something immature for once. I don't think that a teenage boy (even a really mature one) can't act immaturely once in a while. So his character is the most unreal...very poor character development!

Which brings me to the topic of the whole revenge thing and its significance to the TR lovestory. The scriptwriters went the predictable way...Sumeet Ahuja didn't cause his dad's death and hence all the tension b/w ranny n tia is over. Since he can't now blame Sumeet...the plot about tia was insignificant. I would honestly have loved to see something wild and unexpected to happen....what if sumeet had been guilty...how would it have affected the TR dynamic and their relationship??? That would have been unpredictable....but sadly the scriptwriters....*sigh*

The only part I did like about was Tia's maturity in it....that scene where both T and R are crying when he gets to know the truth.
After knowing the truth...ranny's character had nothing interesting...no interesting plot lines... just the old love triangle with arjun and later raghu.

Now, this thing caught my eye,that time also when niyu said this,and now i just can't stop myself.i'm not saying this because i just want to differ,but because i've always noticed these.

about ranveer , what caught my eye the most or when was the time when i found him irritating,but not because of his saintly nature,but because he was kind of coming near to your definition of reality,i.e he started showing faults.

what do you call his not taking money now and again from his friends,when he most dearly wanted it?(that is not so saintly,strong headedness ,is it?

he , as far as i'm concerned was the most less expressive,when it comes to sharing his feelings with his friends.he very seldom told aman that he loved tia.this was not at all perfect. for me if you have got such good friends ,then you need to share with them each and every thing.ashi shared it with maria,vrinda,yuvi shared it with sidd,tia shared it with meher,and pri.it was ranveer who although was madly in love with tia,never quite accepted it.that shows faulty behaviour.

so add this to the list of the mortal characteristics of ranveer's characters.

also i think that as the second season came about, we had many characters modifying to a moderate level from an extreme level.i fondly remember those days when,yuvi was such a duh-uh and we all used to love seeing him pestered by ashi.remeber that fake he-man essay which she read aloud in the class.the scene in which leo madeyuvi eat that sandwich which was as i remember caresssed by ashi's shoes.same goes for ashi and other characters.

so every body in the 2nd season changed for good.then ranveer's changing to almost perfect also doesn't seem that bad.

well, i think we were discussing,or rather debating about the couples, and it was mentioned in the beginning that,nobody will cross the line. i don't know what the crossing of line really means.
but i guess attacking individuals (remember we were debating on couples)and their other relations like with their parents,friends using words like crap etc. and above all talking to the above person with no respect for him/her, can't be tolerated atleast by me. this has been done by both the sides to different extent. ileave this debate as it is getting quite a nasty proposition.
i know that it doesn't affect anybody here.but u know what i give a damn.i don't care whatsoever to who wins this debate or whereever this debate goes.insulting the characters personally of my favourite show doesn't seem to be my cup of tea.so i'm leaving the debate.
i have got no time to answer to all those remarks made either on ashi or tia or for that matter,anybody.but in protest i leave.i think it has to be looked into,that the so called line is now being crossed.

i never said that only u have used strong words,or u have done wrong,i pointed to each and every person who has crossed the limit according to me.and mind it it was a debate on the couples,and as ashita once said that behind the cover of the debatepeople are defaming ashi,ie an individual character,that's what my exact point is.from both sides,points have been raised that defame a single character or his/her other relations.debate wasn't on whether ashi or tia is a good daughter.was it?
