Part 9

After they finished shopping yesterday, they went home to show their parents what they had bought. Where are they now??? Duh-uh!!!! HELLO!!!!!! Where else would they be??? The girls are upstairs getting ready. Ready for what? It's Ashi and Tia's mehendi. The guys were downstairs having a rocking time with their friends. While all of the women were setting up for the rasams. Sonia, Meera, and Sudha were checking to see if everything was okay. They were waiting eagerly for the girls to bring Ashi and Tia downstairs. Finally!!!! Look. Here they come now!!!

They were all wearing yellow with Tia and Ashi. Occassion hi kuch aisa tha. Yuvi and Ranveer saw them come downstairs and then the ladies brought them over to where they were going to sit across from the girls for the haldi rasam.

They sat down with the rest of their friends, and the girls sat down with their friends. The rasam started. The mom's were the first to start. Sonia did Ashi's and Tia's together. One hand on each daughter at the same time. She did the same for Yuvi and Ranveer.

Sonia

Then, Meera and Sudha came at the same time an did the same thing as Sonia. First Ashi and Tia, then Yuvi and Ranveer.

After them, everyone else just came as they were. All of the friends, and other guests. Sonia was sitting next to her daughters admiring them. Then she got up and went to Sumeet.

Sonia- Sumeet, dekho Tia aur Mummum kitni sweet lag rahi hain.

Sumeet- (sighs) Haan Sonia. Sweet bhi aur khush bhi.

Sonia- Arre, tumhe kya hua? Tum aise kyun bol rahe ho?

Sumeet- Hmm? Kuch nahi. Main bas soch raha tha ki betiyaan itni jaldi kyun badi ho jaati hain.

Sonia- Hmm.

Sumeet- Pata hai, aisa lagta hai jaise kal hi ki baat ho. Tia school ke first day ke liye ready ho rahi thi. Aur tab bhi 'papa Tia ki help karo. Papa, Tia ka achha sa hairstyle bana na.' karti rehthi thi. Aur ab, wohi Tia, apne Papa ko chod ke jaa rahi hai.

Sonia- Haan. Main samajh sakti hoon. Aisa lagta jaise kal hi main apni chotti si panch saal ki mummum ke peeche peeche bhaag rahi thi doodh leke. Aur woh? Itni tez bhaag rahi thi. Aur zor zor se chilla rahi thi 'mumma, gross! Mujhe nahi peena yeh. Koi psycho hi hoga jo isse piye ga.' (lightly laughs) Aur ab... main usse haldi lagaa ke aayee hoon. Betiyon se itni attachment ho jaati hai, ki pata hi nahi chalta kab badi hogayeen aur unke jaane ka waqt hojaata hai.

Sumeet- Aur abhi abhi toh Ashi meri beti bani thi. Itne close hogaaye hain hum ki ab dil nahi karta usse jaane deno ko.Uske bina toh poora ghar eik dam chup chaap ho jaayega.

Sonia- Aur Tia? Tia, toh hamesha se meri beti jaisi hi rahi hai. Ab woh bhi apni mumma ko chod ke ja rahi hai. Sumeet, tumhe nahi lagta ki hum Mummum aur Tia ki kuch zyaada hi jaldi shaadi kar rahe hain?

Sumeet- Sonia, main jaan tha hoon ki dono betyon ki shaadi karwaana, woh bhi eik saath, bohat mushkil hai tumhaare liye. Lekin iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki hum apne liye apni betiyon ki khushi ko bhool jaayein. Aur mujhe pata hai ki Ranveer aur Yuvi humaari betiyon ko bohat khush rakheinge.

Sonia- Shayad tum theek kah rahe ho. Aur mere liye Ranveer aur Yuvi bhi eik jaise hain. Mummum aur Tia ko koi takleef nahi hogi.

They both hug each other then they stand there and watch their daughters go through the rasam and get their mehendi done.
