Part 4

Ashi and Tia were coming down the stairs with smiles lighting up their faces. Yuvi and Ranveer saw their soon to be brides coming down and almost fainted from the shock of seeing them like this. They hadn't seen them like this since Sonia's wedding and even then they were not this heavily dressed. They were looking stunning.

Ashi and Tia reached downstairs finally, and went and stood next to their hone wales. As for the rest of the girls, they stood with their partners.

Sumeet- Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, let's begin the ring ceremony.

Sonia brings Tia the ring that she had bought for Ranveer, and Sudha brought the ring that Ranveer had bought for Tia. Ranveer took the ring from Sudha and reached out and gently grabbed Tia's hand. Then he slowly slipped the ring onto her finger. The room burst out with claps.

Tia took the ring from Sonia and did the same for Ranveer. Once again everyone started clapping.

They looked at each other shyly, then they hugged each other. Now it was Ashi and Yuvi's turn. Sonia went over to Ashi with the ring that she bought for Yuvi, and Meera went to Yuvi with the ring that he bought for Ashi.

Yuvi took the ring from his mom and looked at Ashi. Then he took a deep breath and reached out his hand. Ashi gave him her hand and Yuvi said "Ready?" Ashi sweety replied, "Always." Yuvi slowly slipped the ring onto her finger. Everyone started cheering and clapping.

Ashi took the ring from Sonia and turned towards Yuvi. Yuvi raised his hand up and Ashi slipped the ring onto his finger. For some reason, this time the clapping seemed to be louder. Maybe it was beacause the girl who never believed in marriage, had finally given in to be with the one she loved. Or maybe it was just because the famous enemies of Maurya who later became the famous fighting couple were finally getting married. Whatever the reason may have been, the fact was that Ashi and Yuvi were finally tied together with those 2 rings.

After Ashi-Yuvi finished, they gave each other a relieved look and then they hugged each other.

Sumeet- And that concludes the ring ceremony. And now, aap sab please...

Sid- (taking the mic from Sumeet's hand) Aap sab please humaare aaj ke dono to-be-dulhas ko request kijiye ki woh apni to-be-dulhans ko kiss karein.

Everyone started cheering. All of the guests probably felt the same way as Sid. This engagement needed to be a little hatke. While everyone, especially the younger crowd, was cheering Yuvi and Ranveer on, they were both standing there thinking 'are they nuts???' At the same time all four of them threw Sid a threatening look. Sid just winked at them and started once again yelling into the mic telling the guests to keep cheering. Sumeet, after being forced off the stage, went and stood next to Tia and Sudha was standing next to Ranveer. They were both laughing and telling their kids that it was okay. Ranveer, who still wasn't liking the idea of all of this, fianlly gave in and bent over and kissed Tia on the cheek. Tia just stood their with her mouth hanging open with an 'I can't believe you just did that' expression. Ranveer just gave her a pleading look telling her that they would settle it later. Everyone else just cheered really loud and clapped really hard.

Guess who's turn it was now. After Tia-Ranveer, people were forcing Yuvi now. Yuvi was still giving Sid a murderous look and then started to calm his friends down who were cheering louder than everyone else. Ashi just stood there feeling really uncomfortable. This must've ben the most awkward situation she had ever been in. Sonia was standing next to Ashi and Meera was standing next to Yuvi. They, like Sumeet, and Sudha, were also cracking up at the situation at hand. Yuvi seriously didn't know what to do and looked at his mom with a confused but pleading look. Meera just shrugged and gave him a 'fix it yourself' kind of look. Ashi who was standing there not knowing of Yuvi's next move just rolled her eyes. All of a sudden, she felt a warm hand on her cheek and before she could register what was happening, Yuvi gave her a big kiss on the cheek. It wasn't really gently and romantically, it was more abrupt and a 'let's get this over with' kind. The guests went crazy. Especially the younger crowd. Ashi just stood there hard as rock with her mouth slightly open and a look of shock on her face. She wouldn't even move a muscle. It was almost like she went into a coma. Sonia saw Ashi and started laughing really hard.

Sonia- (laughing) Yuvi, sweetheart yeh tumne Mummum ko kya kardiya? (turning towards Ashi and waving her hand and snapping in front of her face while she was STILL laughing) Mummum... mummum? Sweetheart... (laughs)... are you okay? (laughs) Shona???

Yuvi- (bending over to see what happened) Ashi??? Tum theek toh ho naa? Aunty, kya hua isse???

Meera- (laughing) Beta, mujhe lagta hai ki tumhe isse pehle warn karna chahiye tha.

Yuvi- Oh. Sorry babes. Waise aunty, ab kya yeh aisi hi rahegi... for a while?

Sonia- (laughing) Pata nahi.

Yuvi- (moving closer to Ashi and hugging her from the side) I'm soo sorry baby. I didn't mean to scare you.

Ashi- (finally getting herself to speak, forcefully uttered. Yet she didn't move at all, but she just started shaking a little bit and she still had a shocked expression on her face.) It's no problem.

Yuvi- (seeing her like that just started laughing, then sweetly grabbed her by the shoulders trying to stop her from shaking) Yeh kya kar rahe ho aap baby? Theek se toh khadi raho.

Ashi- (still not moving) Huh?

Tia and Ranveer just couldn't control their laughter. The rest of the guests were also laughing ever since Yuvi had kissed Ashi. The laughter level in the room had been uncontrolable. Especially after seeing Ashi. Finally Sumeet took the mic back from Sid.

Sumeet- (laughing) Okay okay. Ab main aap sab se request karta hoon ki please aap hum sab ko dinner ke liye join karein. Dinner tables pe set hua hai. Please help yourselves and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Everyone goes to the separate dinner tables and sits down after serving themselves. Meera, Sudha, Sonia, Sumeet, Mr. and Mrs. Jambwal, Sonal Masi, Meher's family, Sid's family, Pri's family, and Varun's family go and sit together. All of the friends go and sit together. Since Ashi still wasn't moving, Yuvi had no other choice left.

Yuvi- Baby, ab aap ka kya karein?

Ranveer- Bana, aap hi lejaye naa Ashi ko.

Tia- Haan.

Yuvi- Theek hai.

He picks Ashi up and carries her to the dinner table where their friends were waiting for them. Ashi slowly, got normal, and they all enjoyed their dinner. With Tia feeding Ranveer and Ranveer feeding Tia. And Yuvi feeding Ashi and Ashi feeding Yuvi.
