Asha Negi opposite Karan Sharma in a TV show

Asha Negi, who is currently seen in reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, is set to return to the fiction genre with a serial on Star Plus.

Her last fiction show was Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, which ended in September, 2014. She will be paired opposite Karan Sharma in the new show, which is Hindi remake of popular Bengali show Ishti Kutum. It will also feature actress Wasna Ahmed as a tribal girl. Says a source associated with the show, "Karan will play a photojournalist and Asha, his girlfriend. However, he will be forced to marry Wasna during an assignment in a remote area."

Star Plus new show with Asha Negi' And Karan Sharma'

Star Plus is coming up with a new show, which is a love triangle and is based on Star Jalsha's number 1 show Ishti Kutum. Karan Sharma, Wasna Ahmed and Asha Negi will be playing the lead characters in the show.

Gorgeous actress Khatron Ke Khiladi Asha last seen as Purvi in Zee TV's popular show Pavitra Rishta, will play the role of a professor who is married to Karan's (Ek Nayi Pehchaan) character who is a photo journalist and their life will go for a toss when a tribal girl Wasna (Shree) will enter their life as Karan's second wife and a house servant.

The venture is being produced by White Horse Productions. The daily soap is yet to go on floors and expected that it will be shown in a prime time slot as followed by the bengali channel.

The plot of the story is about a tribal girl who gets married to an already married man due to certain circumstances and comes to the metropolitan city with her husband as a servant in his home.

Yeah, Joseph! I heard about it!! I wanted to post a pic of another Karan Sharma when I went to read articles on IF and there it was!! 😆 Wanted to show that there is another Karan Sharma!! 😆

Nisha Aur Uske Cousins to go off air in 8 months

Nisha Aur Uske Cousins

The TV show Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, which revolved around protagonist Nisha and her trials and tribulations, will go off air in April.

The show that started in August 2014, failed to strike a chord with viewers and so the channel has decided to end it. A source said, "It was a different concept and revolved around the youth of our country, but somehow people seem to like watching regular family drama shows on TV more than anything else."

Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Manmarziyan, a show which has Ahem Sharma (who played Karna from Mahabharat) in the lead, will replace it.
