P.S. I am going by the cost that was released to the public initially.

But BI and MATH also have great sets, I'm sure they are not cheap either. And their ratings are barely better than ours.

But I think the problem has been taken care of after the leap - no extra actors, no outdoor shooting, no huge budget on traditional clothing...They are using props and actors just like any other show on Colors

ST spent a lot of $$$ for the Rajasthan shooting in the initial days and also their shooting equipment is superior because it is the kind used in movies so naturally more expensive as well. I saw the BI sets, not the MATH sets, but I also heard that it cost a lot of $$$ to make the Ranawat haveli very authentic-Rajasthani-looking.

why colors favours other show over RR is the money invested in that show is less compared to RR and money gained is same (or little more than RR), so in this case RR brings loses where other show gives profits (i donot want to take the show name here, and this is my opinion and analysis)

THIS,,, very apt explanation,,
TRPs of all shows of 9-11 slot may be similar to each other,, but the monetary investment for RR was humungous in comparison to other shows,, The expectations were huge,, TRPs in the bracket of 1 to 1.5 dont matter,,,
Evn if RR is kept on air till December and the show fetches decent TRPs, the channel still wont be in a position to recover the losses,,
Besides i feel the split between ST n AS also is one of the reasons y Colors is vary abt RR,,
anyways,, We do not know much abt what is happening offscreen,,
But it wont be a surprise if they decide to pull the plug,, lets see,,

Yes I agree. I think they are just bitter old men who can't get over their losses. 😆

Also, Colors had high expectations from RR, and not much from BI, so they are not surprised or upset or whatever they're feeling with BI that much. Not the same case with RR.

In any case, in my opinion RR still has a chance of survival.

i am not saying my POV is perfectly right

Their is a difference between ST investing in a show and the channel investing in a show . Right now RR ( infact for the past 4 months ) looks like any other show of colours ...7-8 actors , one set shooting ...no outdoors etc . Ppl like sanaya and tina earn pretty much the same ( as articles suggest ...) so i cannot conclude which show is expensive / cheap ...

Anyway I am not professionally qualified to discuss the above ...
