I saw Ek Villain yesterday. And what struck me was the fact of how much I could see Rangrasiya within the movie.
So, this may contain spoilers.
If you've seen the movie and love Rangrasiya, maybe you've noticed it as well.
If not, do check this out when you've seen Ek Villain.
- Train Scene
Just as Rudra screams Paro's name and searches for her everywhere, so does Guru do that for Aysha.
Just as Rudra finds Paro, confronts her and asks her to stay, so does Guruto Aysha.
Just as Paro cries and tries to break away from Rudra, so does Aysha to Guru. And both, Paro & Aysha, go back to Rudra & Guru and that's when they seal their love.
- Banjaara
I felt the song fit Rudra much more than Guru.
But both men were lost, seeking to calm the anger and frustration within them, and found a safe haven in Paro & Aysha respectively
- The relationship
PaRud are soulmates to the other. Paro brings out Rudra from his pain and hate. She teaches him to love once again. Rudra makes Paro a stronger woman, ready to fight for her love and life.
Aysha teaches Guru to not just live life in pain and hate. Guru becomes her reason to live and fight!
- The Hero's Past
Guru saw his parents murdered before his eyes, and his life has been built on revenge.
Rudra had a bitter childhood and he has lived with his mother's betrayal and father's poison, which in turn made him bitter in his relationships with people.
- Phillum ke hero
When Guru wears the suit on his interview, Aysha tells him he looks like a film hero.
With his leather jacket, and shades, Rudra is Paro's phillum hero
- Snow Scene
Guru created a artificial snowfall for Aysha in their house in Goa, to fulfill her wish of seeing snow.
Rudra created snow from cotton for his Paro to enjoy on the day he gave her the mangalsutra
- Belief in God
Aysha leaves everything up to God, hoping He will always guide her to do what's best.
Paro often mentions how Bhole Baba will always help her out when she is in a dilemma.
- Can't Live Without You
Both men can't live without the woman in their lives.
Guru: Bad news - You will have to live without me from 9am-5pm.Worse news - I will have to live without you
Rudra - I will die if you leave me and go. I can't live without you,Paro
- Their woman getting hurt
When Aysha is screaming, Guru frantically runs and hopes he will get there in time to save her, but to no avail.
Paro had acid thrown on her. The panic in Rudra's eyes as he goes to her is heart-breaking. Luckily, his wife survives and isnt worse off.
- Love.
Love is the only thing which saves both Rudra and Guru.
Guru lets go off his past, his anger and attempts to be a better person. In the end, he saves the child instead of killing him.
Rudra becomes softer, is happier and the shadows in his life lessens.
- Live for the other.
Aysha-Guru and PaRud live for the other.
The distraught that Guru felt when Aysha dies, will be similar to how Rudra will feel and how Rudra will react if anything happens to Paro.
So, as you can see, I see Rangrasiya in everything.
Did anyone else feel this way as well?!!
