And one last thing I keep forgetting to mention...

Rudra's dialogues about the moon..."Chaand...ummeed deta hai, Paro...andhera kitna bhi ghanaa ho...chaand humein ehsaas karaata hai ki hum akele nahin hai...koi hai...door kahin woh khadaa hua hai...hum pe NAZAR rakhe huye, SAMBHAALE huye"

I found it so touching and so in character that even the moon's connection for Rudra has a PROTECTOR metaphor in it...Rudra views even the moon as a protector, as a GUARDIAN guarding everyone from the darkness of the night...any wonder then that the PROTECTOR, the GUARDIAN role is the one Rudra most strongly identifies with.

Great GIFs, Anu!
My favorite here -

Where he asks her to sing that same song for him. He let go of his guard completely here and wanted to enjoy the same comfort which he used to feel when his mother sings the same song. More than anything else, this made me think of the love he feels for his mother still. No matter what she has done. Even left him the worst possible way. But the child in him will always remember that love he felt from his mother. That would be the most cherished feeling for him always. And he wants to take that risk of experiencing that again. Even though it disturbs him and he says he hates his mother.

And what makes this more special is that Paro actually learnt that song from his mother. She has been brought up by his mother. He knows that. He knows Paro will sing just the way his mother did. Sigh. I just loved this scene!

Thanks yaar!

@bold: So nicely described and so true...his love for his mother shines through all this despite his pain...somewhere that love lives on...and is both the reason as well as the antidote to all the bitterness and pain he carries inside of him...yes it's very significant that he asks Paro to sing this song knowing his mother is the one to have taught it to her...in that moment all three of them became connected through this song...Rudra WILLINGLY chose to let both Paro and his mother into his heart for this moment...without any bitterness.

@bold - It was beautiful right!

The first time Rudra came to know that Paro was brought up by his mother, they showed us that he hated it. He crushes their picture together. Now I see that they are establishing that he is ok with that. He will not hold this against Paro at all. I was initially wondering why is that. What changed. He still has the same 'hatred' towards his mother. And Paro is the same person. Then realized, it is that trust he talked about today. That made the difference. It is not that he changed completely. It is just that he has removed Paro from the 'Khoobsurat aurat par no bharosa' category! 😆She has won him over. He trusts Paro completely now. He trusts that she will not leave him like his mother. That she won't hurt him, won't make fun of his emotions and will be his anchor.

Ironically, all this is going towards Paro leaving him only. 😭

Anu Paro, i think she is happy that finally major saab is confiding in her, she is confident that she will help him get rid of his pain, in her world she has a belief that love can only unite people and not break them apart. Her delusion will soon vanish away, once she actually realises the depth of Rudra's wounds, its strange how she doesn't, she understands that he is immensely hurt, but all she can do is give him solace, its not easy to take away his pain as she thinks it to be, and even Rudra tries and hints her about that. But he is just content that he found someone whom he can open up and cry his heart out, he said how she is the only one with whom he is sharing all these, and rightfully as he trusts her a lot.
All i have a probelem is Paro's lack of understanding behaviour, how long can maithili explain her things, and its annoying also as its repetitive that she counst his walking back as his anger and his sharing his past with her as his pain, there must be a saturation point to all these, can they make her talk less and express more, lately i dont know why i find her expressions wiered/

About Rudra-Maala being the sensational dou now, well they are, especially when a juxtaposed scene could create such an impact, i can imagine the impact of their face off, ohh maala entering and hugging her son, i can do anything to watch Rudra's expressions in such a scene, all CVs can do is that they write the shots well and slow down the pace a bit, the build up is very good, i want the intensity to remain like this. Their is so much potential to explore in this track, i hope CVs do not lose their creativity under the pressure of TRPs. I loved laila and tejawat's convo too, and yes like how laila is completing the angle, the people who were and are important in Rudra's life are all set to just show him their faces, he has to deal with laila-paro-maala, dilsher-paro, Tejawat-his job ..

I also liked the scene between dilsher-Rudra. Rudra actually told him that he could easily put the blame on Rudra and major saab would handle mohini, but I am happy that dilsher finally realises that it has been enough of blame games, his son is immune to pain, and he wants to mend Rudra's heart too, since he saw Rudra laughing, Dilsher is going beserk, I think he fears that Rudra cannot bear another heartbreak. he wants the family to stay united.

and lastly, yes the SHAANT is back from major saab. he doesnt know how to console his pecious doll, but hugs her and aww the shaant. Anu, some fangirling moment, and esp more because he looked killer in the black-white combo. My moonchiya and his shaant, sounded like music to my ears..

my favourite one Anu.. the silent and lone drop of tear, the drop of tear falls on paro's palm.. and later...

he cuddles into her palm, holding her fingers tight, to not let her go..

such a beautiful scene and beautiful moment, and simultaneously heartbreaking.

Also interesting that writers continue to show scenes with Paro symbolically taking his mother's place in some ways...sitting in the same spot near his feet like he mentioned his mother used to...then singing the same song...and ultimately Rudra laying his head in Paro's lap like he probably did with his mother.

I guess they are trying to show Paro healing that broken little boy inside him still living in the shadow of his mother's memories.

But ofcourse really nice turn for the story that tomorrow Paro will know who his mother is...

Hmmm. You can also look at it this way.
His mother followed him to the terrace. Sat on the floor. Then sang to him. And left him
Paro followed him to the terrace. Sat on the floor. Then sang to him. And left him ???
