We have Laila and Tejawat joining hands on one side even as they taunt each other on their failures...Laila's sharp tongue can be counted on to deliver some choice taunts.
Two themes stood out overall today...hope and trust.
Dilsher encouraging Rudra to HOPE again...telling him to have expectations from relationships, from life again...not considering hope his enemy but trying to make it his friend...this leading to Rudra invariably reflecting while staring at the full moon and deciding to HOPE and TRUST after all.
Leading to the lovely scene in the second half where Rudra opens up yet again...this time not as tormented as he was the last time...this time more reflective, philosophical almost as he reminisces about his childhood memories, talks about his fascination/relationship with the full moon on many a long nights...
There has always been something disarming about these scenes in the way Rudra chooses to bare his heart, his thoughts...a disarming honesty I guess is what I'd call it...today even as Paro hesitatingly tells him it's ok if he doesn't want to talk about painful memories, he tells her with conviction that he WANTS to share this with her...because he TRUSTS her and wants HER to trust HIM...
Oh I must mention the way Rudra hurriedly tells her at last why he took the day off...and then tells her not to ask him WHY he wanted to spend the entire day around her😆
Paro is coyly basking in the joy of finally having gained his trust, gotten him to hope...😆
Rudra asking Paro to sing the heli mhaari song was also very telling...for once he isn't running away from painful memories and would rather unlock them and share them with Paro...it was a very touching moment...but I have to say the bad camera angles, strangely zooming into Paro's face and the crappy editing not really flowing well into the bit where Rudra starts crying really marred the scene.
And I really liked how they flowed from this scene to showing Mala as Tejawat's captive...repenting and regretting leaving her son for this man...the story is poised at quite an interesting point...after a long time, RR is raising some hope in me on the STORYLINE level than just focusing on individual scenes...lol...fitting I guess for an epi that was all about HOPE😊
