agreed to that, be truthful, and that is what most of us trying to wrap our heads around...but sometimes things just tend to get overboard...all in all that's what adds charm to our show right?

A few of my friends who watch RR but don't have time or aptitude for IF felt the same so what I have started doing now is I copy/paste a few good points & email them & that does the needful but like you said," how many ppl have access to these wonderful posts ?"

Hi eveline
Have been a long-time reader of your posts and on previous forums - but first time i am commenting though i have meant to a few times before!

with regards to what you say about Paro's character - I was watching the Colors interview with Sanaya that was out today and she states that she has been asked before what is Paro thinking - and though she could not divulge that - this made me think that the writers and CVs are purposefully making Paro's character such that the audience is not meant to know what she is thinking - now why they are doing this of course I am not sure. Is it so we can draw our own interpretations ( like this forum does so well) or is there something more behind it? Are we meant to see an evolution of her character, or are her complexities hidden and will slowly come out? How does thsi revelation fit in with the basic story arc?
Rudra has many layers as well of course - maybe the CVs have a different definition for his character that comes through in different tracks.
Well I guess ultimately the TRPs will show if the CVs successful in what they are trying to do - I love analysing the show and characters in great detail and will continue to do so as I love them

I made a post yesterday after watching the episode, which was hours after the show aired.
My post was my take on Paro's feelings, not a post defending her. And I posted minutes after I watched the episode, so it was not thought of, just an immediate flow of thoughts and emotions.
I do not make defensive posts, only post when I emotionally feel for the character.
I emotionally feel for Paro's pain, her heart is bleeding and she is a mess.
That does not mean I am defending her characterization.
I don't see a Need to defend a fictional character written by some one else, I only defend real characters who mean something to me.

I also talked to my mom and couple of my cousins in India.
They could connect with Paro. They said " how else will a woman react when she just found out about her husbands 8 year colorful fling, no strings attached?" She is rightfully confused, she needs help"

So, many posts made are just another point of view, another opinion. Mine definitely was.
Even TRP audiences have different opinions.

My purpose for making posts is Not to give any feedback to the makers regarding Paro or any other character., but just to share my genuine feelings about the character.
I don't think There is any restriction on posting ones thoughts about a character in a show., whether it is defending a character or a genuine feeling for the character.

Sometimes its better to think before making a post than to make an impulsive one actually...may be the instant reactions are not always the best ones. Some thinking is required...thinking about characters and why their behaviour is the way it is.Dont we do that in real life too? Take some time and do some thinking to understand the people around us.Sometimes we are actually advised to not do or say things impulsively...may be am just ranting now 😆

either way is fine. What I am saying is We have a right to express our feelings, they cannot be called as being defensive. Mine was not a defensive post. I even posted my responses in some friends posts who did not agree. That's ok...opinions can be different but should not be called out for being defensive. Btw, I like your username😆

Eve,

This is the first post I have not actually got what the main issue you would like to raise.
1. did you think people who genuinely thought Paro's reaction were inappropriately sushed?
2. or the power that IF analyzers/writers wield with their pen on IF members?
3. Or that the disparity between what Paro says to Mailthi about not putting pressure then does the same in the last scene has been buried under the above analysis and fights?

I agree, I posted the same thing on someone's thread yesterday. If many people are feeling a huge disconnect from the female lead at such a crucial point in the story then clearly the CVs are doing something wrong right??

My family (grandparents, parents, aunt and uncle, cousins) and a few friends watch RR and this week all of them do not understand Paro and are wondering why she is being so contradictory. They are especially annoyed with the way she is letting Laila stay in the haveli, they are saying it is "beyond stupid" (my mom's words not mine, so shaant) to let your partner's ex-lover stay in your haveli even if she won't affect your relationship - that is not the point. Since I like playing the devil's advocate I tried defending Paro and said Laila needs protection, but my grandpa just asked if there is no one else that can give Laila protection...does the BSD only have one officer?? And who is Paro to decide whether Laila stays in the haveli or not (she is not an elder nor an owner of the haveli so as she herself asks what right does she have to make such decisions)?? Why can't Papa Ranawat take action and order Junior Ranawat to take Laila to the BSD headquarters and put her under protection there??

The TRP audience has definitely felt disconnected from Rudra as well before - my grandpa used to say that Rudra is too angry and so was often not interested in watching him in his angry avatar. He became more interested in RR when Rudra became slightly mellow/kind, and Paro was a character he always found to be understandable and kind...

Now he's annoyed because he doesn't understand Paro's actions and it upsets him that because of her unclear actions her relationship with Rudra is crumbling. He HATES Laila. And you cannot say my grandpa doesn't understand Paro because he's a man, let me just say that he's not your typical man. And my mom, aunt, grandma and a few friends are frustrated with Paro as well.

The CVs need to find a good balance with both Rudra and Paro if they want to attract the TRP audience in big numbers. It is hard to feel connected to both characters at times, though I will definitely say that Rudra's characterization is more consistent than Paro's. Paro fans need to demand consistency in Paro's character as well from the CVs, does she not deserve it!!

hey eveline, a great thought and very appropriately put down in words.
From several days i have noticed that whenever a post criticising Paro is being made, a counter post is also made justifying her acts, i am not telling that it is wrong to make such posts, but then its only butchering the quality of the character of Paro. Creatives have reduced her character to an irritating and illogical woman now, to whom most of the viewers have lost the connect. I am a Rudra fan, i like him more, but then whenever i have found his character off track, i have voiced it out, that only ended up a betterment of his character. Justification can come only with the end result of a character, and unless that happens it means we are being fooled by the CVs.

Lately, i know that criticising Paro means you are bringing a bad name for u here, but again thats also we do because we want betterment of the show, and not because we hate her, afterall why would someone criticize a fictional character when they are regular viwers of the show ?
