Its only after I've read the posts here- I still dont change my opinion most of the times- but in a way become a little 'SHANT'! But there are some things which are illogical to me and cannot be explained and I can never wind my head around it- My problem I know- whattodo??

Yes, they do. Please check some posts in this thread itself, the pen does have an impact especially if its a powerful one. And don't they always say the first instincts (and I mean pure instincts) are often the correct ones. And I belong to the same category of stubbornness 😆...a slave to logic...what does not make sense..does not make sense..and that's me...and like u I tend to deal with it too. But being logical is not a crime...or is it??

And paro did not decide that laila will live there...she merely said if laila does not live in the haweli then she wont ever be able to forgive herself and rudra.
And I repeat...may be paro supporters dont think she is inconsistent, or may be they think the contradiction and bipolar behaviour goes with the situation and that paro is understandable...I personally think insecurity makes humans really illogical. So people who defend or support her dont need to demand anything unless they themselves dont see or feel the need of that demand.

buddy i dont intend to get into a argument , but this is a genuine question not directed towards you, ny one can answer it
what is this paro supporter and rudra supporter
to me the show has been consistently inconsistent , i agree when you or any one for that matter express an opinion here there as there is no vested interest , so it has to be a genuine opinion
but for a 100 odd episode , with so much of ups and down (i use trps as a proxy ) , how can people be happy with the characterization of paro or rudra or kaki or anyone else
it is a project at the end of the day , some time good , some time very good , some time bad

Why cant they be happy? To you may be its inconceivable and to me personally it is too, but not everybody thinks like us.And many people who like/adore/support/defend paro have made posts asking the creatives to explain and write her character in a better manner too...just because they understand and are happy with her right now does not mean they are over indulgent mothers or blind followers.
And dont think too deeply about the phrases paro defenders and rudra defenders or supporters 😆 ...I just mean people who relate to or can understand or love or like one character more than the other on a general basis.
@bold i said about every character , paro , rudra all of them
, all the explanation ,makes sense to me whether paro , rudra , laila or kaki , most do , so it is not blind it is highly thought out , and i said this earlier , it is another way of looking at thing but a very complex way like a book that is open to interpretation ,the beauty of interpretation rests on the writer sometimes even more than the book, i dont think it is wrong to watch a show for a character or actor or building a story around it (at times a better one)
but it is wrong to expect teh same from others
therefore i clarify , my intention was not to say all those who find the show good are @red

i was curious about the word :-)
@blue yes that is a good explanation , thanks

There is also a section of IF members who read the posts by talented writers but do not buy their views. They may not make any noise, they may not bash, they may not express their disenchantment. They will just silently vanish off this forum one day and appear elsewhere, none the wiser.

The loss is the serial's.

And one day I will eventually disappear too, one of the most vocal idiots...(to the relief of many 😆) but till then I owe something to a show that gave me lots of pleasure and pain.

The average person is every person and each person can only understand and accept so much before having to think on it. Initial reactions are one thing but that still doesn't explain the consistency of the reactions we see. I would even go so far as to wonder if the actors have a firm grasp on their characters, but that is for another time.

.
Shows that are aimed to entertain shouldn't need analysis and should suffice in their own environment. Sequences shown meant to bridge that gap would create an open dialogue about reality that is not limited to the characters. This is what it is: fiction.
.
If we were writing a novel then anything could be easily explained away because the writer has the luxury of words. The trick is to convey those same experiences the reader would have in a visual format. That is what the film industry is forming a business around and that is what we as viewers are consuming.

Thank you tons and tons...out of all the responses I have chckd..yours actually grasps my point. Yes, we might change our minds after giving it some thought, but who has the time or the inclination to give a fictional twenty minute show deep thought and analysis. So, such creations have to crisp, clear and concise. When after reading 12 different posts explaining Paro's behavior, I change my mind...that only proves one thing...the cvs did not get across clearly. And I have the luxury of discerning posts...the general public out there...only retain what they see in those twenty minutes.

hi eveline

RR forum s has so many good writers, its a good thing na.
its very nice to read so many views for the same character for the same scene.

i am a silent reader of this forum and i read Rudra POV posts, paro POV posts, as well as paRud POV posts. Sometimes these changes my views and sometimes not.

But we should not compel anyone to agree to some POV's. its der wish let it be like that.

This post is not about compulsion at all...no one can force anyone for anything...its a simple law of universe which should be respected.

Good point about giving honest opinions so that the creative and writers take corrective measures.Very good point indeed. But may be some paro defenders genuinely feel whatever they write about paro...its bit of a generalization dont you think? On your part I mean...that everybody who defends paro is doing it for the sake of it and that they dont actually honestly feel all of this? Yes some do seem like that but not all...not to me atleast. And not everybody would think like your neighbour too...that is where you are generalizing too I think.
May be many trp people think rudra is bipolar..I know I do.And I am a trp junta...living in india and watching the show on tv at 9:30.
And have you not made posts defending rudra? Be honest, you know you have.
I am sorry if I came accross as offensive again...I do not know how to be sweet and at the same time be able to put my point across...so will not be surprised if you ignore my post.
But honestly just stop thinking that everybody who defends paro is not giving their honest opinions...you think she is inconsistent, contradictory and many more things? Fine.you think all this should be communicated to the writers so that they improve? Fine again. But please keep in mind that not everybody has the same opinion about paro as you...the several posts defending paro could indicate that she isnt written well hence the people here do the work of making others understand her...BUT it could also mean
That one section is kind of hell bent on questioning her every move and thus the other section has to keep defending her.

first I don't see where I have said that paro defenders don't genuinely feel what they write?? Nowhere...wrong interpretation again. On the contrary, good writing is a passion that comes only when the heart is involved. And where have I said that they do it just for the sake of it??? Kindly explain how did my post give you that impression. Neither am I generalizing here...anywhere. Not everything is an argument, and can be taken as such or forced as such. Why in the world do you tend to give personal tones to every post. Why the finger pointing at me?? Is this post about my liking..my preferences, is this about Rudra defending or Paro bashing?? No...then why is this about me defending Rudra in various posts. Why in the world do u turn up to question me in every post?? Is this a personal vendetta!! Whatever the topic of the post, it is clearly ignored and you turn up to simply say...you are saying all this coz you love Rudra and Hate Paro...excuse me??
Now that you are making this personal...go back and check out all my posts from day one..and if you find posts defending and explaining Paro..supporting her...praising her...what the hell will u say then?? Its a challenge that was issued two days back. And as your response is all about degradation...that's all I can say.
Honestly I am not in the mood to get into hostile responses and veiled insulting tones. If you want to talk about the show...well and good...otherwise thanks for your comments.
