How many peeps watching the show actually are on forum?😕 20% -30%
The show has to make sense the way we see it and not the way we analyze it. Most of the people who watch shows will not wait for the page long analysis.
The writers here satisfy their inner writer and nurture it. Most of them being professional do not have real space to write so just write here on forum.
Some come here to nurture their skills of arguement.😆 and very few to nurture their fighting spirit😛

But the fact is if the show does not make sense it does not. PERIOD. No analysis, no writeup no debate is required to understand the show. We as the viewer have to be connected with the characters. And if we can not then we can not enjoy the best written screenplay.

Paro and Rudra as a character are indigestible. Rudra is known to be a grey character so we can just give him benefit of doubt but then Paro is just beyond any girls expectation.

My Point before someone kicks in -
1 ) She has suffered since her young age with her parents killed, her being brought by her mami, her groom killed, she being the key witness and what not. In real life any person who would have gone through so much in life - just 20% would pull up their socks and would not be as naive as she is.
2) we the people on this forum are mostly educated and hence can not believe in the shiv puran. Am not saying that Shiv Puran is wrong. I too believe in mythology but this is not mythology. Its a fictional story written in 21st century.
3) Nag devta selecting the bride - seriously 🤢
4) She says she feels and understands everything. Without seeing she can see that Rudra did not complete his food and with open eyes she can not see his actions?😕
5) Any girl with a little sense would throw out Laila but here she is in to A bel muje maar wala attitude. Does it matter if he confesses or not. At the end of the day their wedding is the reality. Period.

(Will add more later. Got to go for now.)

PS- Please this is not bashing. Just expressing my POV. If you feel its hurting you then please ignore this post as i am not going to argue with you.

Hope some one appreciates your hard work for this show...obviously you are a true fan. And why should u have to go to such lengths just so they can understand some characters and their actions...after all its not rocket sciene!! Obviously...the cvs somewhere need to be more n sync with the normal viewers mind.

I feel plenty about members like you...but don't say cause I believe in decency. And as far as me and my popularity go...kindly check the hall of fame...you will get your answer. And the last thing me and my post want is attention from members like you...its a request...I would appreciate if you never ever give me or my writings your time and attention from now...kindly refrain from reading or commenting on them if you think they are a means to notoriety...thanks your words did give a new meaning to the word respect

Hi eveline

Have been a long-time reader of your posts and on previous forums - but first time i am commenting though i have meant to a few times before!

with regards to what you say about Paro's character - I was watching the Colors interview with Sanaya that was out today and she states that she has been asked before what is Paro thinking - and though she could not divulge that - this made me think that the writers and CVs are purposefully making Paro's character such that the audience is not meant to know what she is thinking - now why they are doing this of course I am not sure. Is it so we can draw our own interpretations ( like this forum does so well) or is there something more behind it? Are we meant to see an evolution of her character, or are her complexities hidden and will slowly come out? How does thsi revelation fit in with the basic story arc?
Rudra has many layers as well of course - maybe the CVs have a different definition for his character that comes through in different tracks.
Well I guess ultimately the TRPs will show if the CVs successful in what they are trying to do - I love analysing the show and characters in great detail and will continue to do so as I love them

hey don't be a silent reader...would always love to read your thoughts!!😊
Yes, I saw that interview too and what stayed with me was the question...What is Paro thinking?? And her answer...no one knows what Paro is thinking. And that actually does point a finger on overall confusion, whether it is deliberate or accidental is a different story.
All I know is confusion never helps a show, especially in a main lead's characterization. Be it Paro or Rudra, if they are not understood clearly, then they are not sympathized or empathized with...and that is a big loss to the show. Hope they rectify this soon. And yes we all love this show, but lately the abuse is getting too much and I have been questioning myself...might as well quit this forum😊

Oh Man, today was...let's just say...difficult?
..And frankly i thought i could understand her till 1 episode ago..and even understand why she asked those questions to rudra, but now..this constant pained and hurt expressions and then going for a stroll with the same person that was spewing venom like 15 mins back! Boy! if she was a mere mortal like most of us...even if she is innocent and pure and cannot hurt anyone...she could have said NO? :(
Like i wrote in another post...I am reminded of another female lead in a horrible "sheetal track" from a soap that should not be named here. How helpless i felt! The same thing i feel now.
And yes, you are right her reactions can still be justified from i think "daya ki devi" point of view.😆

I made a post yesterday after watching the episode, which was hours after the show aired.

My post was my take on Paro's feelings, not a post defending her. And I posted minutes after I watched the episode, so it was not thought of, just an immediate flow of thoughts and emotions.
I do not make defensive posts, only post when I emotionally feel for the character.
I emotionally feel for Paro's pain, her heart is bleeding and she is a mess.
That does not mean I am defending her characterization.
I don't see a Need to defend a fictional character written by some one else, I only defend real characters who mean something to me.

I also talked to my mom and couple of my cousins in India.
They could connect with Paro. They said " how else will a woman react when she just found out about her husbands 8 year colorful fling, no strings attached?" She is rightfully confused, she needs help"

So, many posts made are just another point of view, another opinion. Mine definitely was.
Even TRP audiences have different opinions.

My purpose for making posts is Not to give any feedback to the makers regarding Paro or any other character., but just to share my genuine feelings about the character.
I don't think There is any restriction on posting ones thoughts about a character in a show., whether it is defending a character or a genuine feeling for the character.

First where have I written that writers who explain Paro are all doing so without conviction or understanding. You understand her and you share...that's not a problem and shouldn't be. Similary when someone defends Rudra..the same rules apply.
But when posts crop up repeatedly, complaining about disconnect...don't u think its time for the writers to give it some thought and attention. Or are you going to say that its just an overall lack of understanding for only one character??
And I too am expressing a different opinion, and yes understand other opinions and povs too. As your circle understands Paro, my circle fails to do so consistently.
And in answer to your last statement...my cousins were...when did he accept her as a wife, when was their marriage normal...how can she question him or force him...and why saying good things and then demanding something else. Again...different folks...different strokes. Just presenting another pov here. When the general audience comes out with two such varied and diverse reactions it only points in one direction...the cvs are not able to make a connect with all sections of the audience which explains the TRPS.

Very well said.. Its true that many of the times in fact all the times our thinking or way of seeing things towards the episode changes after reading posts but its not the case with the normal viewers,Not everyone go in depth to analyse every word & move of a character & hope the CV's work it out to make the character more clear...I know they cant be 100 straight & clear with a character but this much complication is not good for a show ..
