Very interesting take on what really happened in that marriage! 😆 I loved your story. Can a man like the Jallad, having done what he has done, feel remorse and disgust? Lovely story, jj!

Thanks Oldestfan. Appreciation from you means a lot. I expect him to be very jittery on the D-day if not remorse and disgust. Don't you ?

JJKKL, I liked the OS and the build up to the revelation. As a piece of creative writing, loved it..😃

But the premise that he should feel disgusted with himself or guilty, I cant really understand that.

Thanks Dear. Do you think this is a thought that will bother Rudra at some point ?

Because I saw this and also in a couple of other replies you've asked the same, I'll elaborate. But its just my view-point.

I don't really think he should have to feel bad for his past. It was a phase in his life and Laila was a willing woman. Its not like he forced himself on her. Two consenting adults in a relationship. In an ideal world I would expect the same tolerance from him towards Paro but well that's trying to redefine our society. If he was, say, a divorcee or widower would we say the same?

Secondly, if Paro has understood and accepted his past, and he still feels disgusted about himself, wouldn't it be concluded that her love has failed?

He may feel disgusted with himself for how he tortured Paro, ill treated her.

But I think the CVs are taking it that way because when Laila woke him up and he thinks its Paro he mumbles something like - Kar diya mujhe maaf..

For a comment on an OS i think i ve gone way overboard.. I hope i dint offend you, its just a habit of mine to over analyse things.. 😊

No offense taken. Aren't we here to discuss and debate POVs ?

Oh yes, I do agree Rudra should not feel guilty for how he lived before he met Paro. And he should not ask for her forgiveness. He always reminded her that he was no God.

Having said that I am also sure as and when the CVs show the D-day, they will show Rudra having some jittery thoughts 😳

PS: I am so happy you took the time to read and comment. Thanks.
