Well said once again.

i dont really think it is about the characters , it is more about the groups that are formed
categorizing posts i can agree to , categorizing people i dont agree ,
like it further creates divide
sorry NM , post also speak primarily about posts made to bash paro which is hurting certain fan groups sentiments ,there fore wrong i agree , but that is not the whole story my POV

one day i might like paro , next day i might like rudra , next day i like dilsher
so which category can i fall into ,

and what is the need in the first place , agree, disagree , argue , ignore , report i think that is the way to go

i have no issues with any posts that is a reference to my post unless there is name calling all in the game

And I thought napster made it pretty clear that she knows the difference between criticizing and bashing. I myself have criticized Paro's behavior after she learned the truth about Tejawat. I did not like it. I thought they were compromising her character for the sake of the storyline, because they needed to find a way to get her back in the house to make it easy for them to write love scenes. I wanted to see her fall in love gradually, not start worshipping Rudra. That is criticism, not bashing. The daily posts from the same people, making digs at Paro every time she breathes, glorifying Rudra's every move...that is bashing. They are not capable of having a healthy convesation when they are that biased in their viewing of the show. They have nothing to offer aside from creating negativity and dividing the forum. All we can do is ignore them and hope they go away.

I had been noticing this for the past few days.. The forum suddenly seems quiet and all I can see is either bashing posts or praising posts.. But nothing much on the episodes or the show.. Much need post napster! I for one only read posts from people who I know would have put forth a balanced view.,

Hope you haven't been scarred for life 😆
In all honesty, I think it will balance out because we have some amazing, productive and balanced members like Naps. Weeding is a patient process, and it will be done! LOL!

Thanks , Navin... You have echoed my sentiments exactly. Sometimes , i wonder where Rudra stops and Ashish starts... or vice versa. And if they do not stop , history will repeat itself and a good show will go to waste again...

@ bold I definitely agree with this. Many times there is a complete disregard for Paro's feelings, the only thing that matters is how her actions will affect Rudra. The show is not just about one character but both.

I have so much to say about this.

This week, I have found the episodes intolerable. So much so that I didn't watch the show today. It is also possible that the forum, and not really the episodes that makes me bitter and sour. Who knows? But this is also the show that promised me a wonderful story at the start. I might keep coming back, but the forum is simply tiring.

Having said that, I visit the forum for some wonderful people I have met here. I don't want to lose touch because they are smart, witty, sensitive, and sorted out individuals who make my virtual experience worthwhile. I have seen sensible, discursive posts disappear for the sheer lack of maturity on the forum. I have also seen funny posts dwindle because people have issues with sarcasm, "mocking", and "vulgarity". If I'm denied laughs, I cannot remain interested. And what is with Paro bashing/Paro defense wars? It's okay if you don't agree with a character, but is she the only thing wrong in RR right now?

Additionally, one major issue is that people conflate characters with actors. Paro is NOT Sanaya, nor is Rudra, Ashish. So, if anyone says Paro is not making sense, stop assuming Sanaya's acting is getting criticised. Similarly, if Rudra is seeming too mellow, it may or may NOT be Ashish's "fault". Stop shoving the "but-he's-a-method-actor-he-can't-be'wrong" idea down the forum's throat.

And yes, camping makes 0 sense whatsoever. If a single character suffers, the other cannot compensate for that. So, everyone needs to work equally well. It's nice you feel for these celebs, but they are somewhere distant. Fictional characters don't even EXIST. Why the maatha-pachchi?

One may find a scene cute, while it might not work for others because of the creative mess created (masses like me). If one who didn't enjoy the episode posts, it doesn't mean you A) shout them down, B)label them "bashers" C) pass moral judgments on them. I say this because not ALL posts are written negatively, nor are they outright dismissive. Plus, there is just a screen and a few words that connect each member to the forum. Is that sufficient basis to judge the actual people behind the usernames?

If one liked the episode, great for them. Why don't people leave that thread alone, and let the TM and reply makers be happy?

It is everyone's forum. It is also a source of feedback for the creatives, however flimsy that might be. Unless critical posts make an appearance, the gushing and mushing over episodes will lead the show into complacency. (I like to delude myself with the suggestion that they're chasing TRPs).

Rant over. Peace out.

Hear hear. You spoke my mind sistah'!

I have seen this same hostile attitude towards criticism of any kind in IPK forum, I have seen people blurring the line between the actor and character and making it a point to think one is finding faults in the actor if they think a certain character is not working. But that happened in IPK forum well past 1 year, RR forum on the other hand seems to be on some super fast forward mode where we have reached that stage within 5 months flat.😆

I cannot stress enough on the fact that I find it surprising how people on this forum can so easily target real people, real breathing, talking, feeling, people out there for the fictional Rudra & Paro. How does that make any sense? Hurting real people because of fictional ones?

Also, to those who think we should all just put on our rose tinted glasses and sing praises of the show 24/7 because the makers work so hard, and the actors work so hard, blah blah blah? I have got only one thing to say to them, creative products thrive on constructive criticism, and as a consumer, we have the right to voice out our opinions, we are not morally obligated to not speak one bad word about the show. I have no doubt the everyone behind the show is working very hard, but you know what they say, work smart, instead of hard, you will taste success faster that way.

EVeryone should follow on simple rule : Don't like posts which criticize, or poke fun at the show? Don't read them, stay away. Don't like posts which say everything about the show is brilliant? Don't read them, stay away. But please, stop making condescending remarks, judgement passing, and the veiled mocking with quoting a specific person and his/her posts, you may think you are being sly, but you are not
