I'm not sure what Paro will make of this because she knows that Rudra hasn't been able to connect to anyone emotionally since his mom left so I'm not sure she would think that he loved Laila. Laila has also told her that Rudra didn't love her. I'm not sure she will connect physical intimacy with love although she probably firmly believes that it's connected to marriage. Also being a village girl Paro will know that there is one set of rules for men and another for women and although she might not know any girls personally who are having sex outside of marriage she must know that there are women who do and that men go to them. That oldest profession in the world must be found in villages too. I'm not saying that Laila is a prostitute because she's not but that Paro must be aware of sex happening outside of marriage. My fear is that she might think that Rudra should do the 'right thing' by Laila and marry her. It will be more about Paro's sense of fairness that will come into play. I'm excited about tomorrow's episode and just hope we'll get to see some of that 4 weeks of raw passion we were promised, soon.Originally posted by: princessunara
I completly agree with u!
di as for Paro leaving cz she feels bad for Laila thing - here is the thing, does Paro know that physical aspect of sex can exist outside the boundaries of love and/or marriage?
that is what her upbringing has taught her. mind u its not us who no matter what our upbringing is, know that different situations existing out there thanks to TV/newspapers/internet; none of which Paro has ever had access to in Bhirpur..
So would she not come to the conclusion that if he were to be physical with Laila, that was cz he loved her? it seems stupid a conclusion for us worldly people. but for that border village girl who had never crossed the boundary of her village.. didn't know a single person outside that small village.. would it be wrong for her to make that assumption?
cz there has been pretty good stuff to support it.
1. Rudra 1st wanted to marry her to punish her for not testifying against Tejwat.
2. He then didn't want to marry her at all after the need to punish her for not testifying was gone from his priority list.
3. And only for his job he married her again..
so it wouldn't be too far fetched for her to believe that its due to Laila he did those things!!
and add to that her promise to bolenath.. we have a perfect path for Paro to take to go out of his life!
