Rudra has accepted Paro's past even though he hates it. Paro was married for a few hours and mourned her husband in front of him. Until Tejawat's revelation, she defended his memory to Rudra. In spite of that, all the times when Rudra rejected her proposal, he never used her widowhood as a reason. He let the past go and spoke only of the darkness in his life and the naivety in her beliefs which he does not understand.
Paro forced the marriage against his wishes yet he has been trying to be the husband she wants. He is trying to move forward. The only reason he is discussing his affair is because he senses that his past is affecting their present and future. Paro needs to understand the simple fact that he was open and honest with her always. And Rudra needs to openly choose his marriage to Paro.
Note: I know that Rudra's physical affair and Paro's marriage are two completely different issues and should not be compared. I am bringing it up just to prove that Rudra is open minded and accepting. I respect the sanctity of marriage and do not intend to her anybody's sentiments

Also Rudra married Paro not because he was in luv w/her - actually it was Paro that luvd him & announced her feelings in front of that huge gathering 😊. Also Rudra knew v well that Paro was a widow & he never tried 2 find out if she had consummated her previous relationship. He's accepted her for who she is. He's cared 4 & protected Paro every step of the way & she should accept him 4 who he is. So no Rudra should not seek 4giveness for his time spent w/ Laila in the past.

The more I think abt his past, I get the feel that he used 2 go 2 her 4 his emotional needs not so much 4 his physical needs - if u all remember Laila had once said "tune (Rudra) mare saamne apne saare zakhm kohl ke rakh diye".

I agree and disagree - I don't think there's any need for forgiveness but at the same time I don't think Paro has to accept his past. What if her faith tells her that premarital sex is wrong, then how can she comes to terms with it so easily? However being a village girl she probably will eventually and I don't think she'll question him.
As for Rudra going to Laila for his emotional needs - it was probably a mix -it started off as a working relationship which turned into a physical relationship. They became friends with benefits, sharing their happiness, their sadness and their beds but not their lives, especially for him. Laila actually never understood Rudra - her thoughts on him liking burnt alloo ki sabzi for instance, she never understood that that was his habit rather than his preference. Bottom line though is that Rudra never loved Laila

If I was a conservative girl from a village like Paro I suppose I would accept Rudra inspite of his 8 year long sexual relations with Laila. I think.

However, as a modern and independent woman I would refuse to accept a man who is almost like a husband to another woman, as he is nothing but auser. Comeon, can men not live without sex ? Every night for 8 years ? Tauba, tauba

As far as Rudra accepting Pao if she had been in a casual sexual relationship with someone for 8 years - I dont think so. Even though he used Laila, he never attached mentally to her, probably because at a subconscious level he considered her a pros****** to be used anyway. This subconscious feeling added fuel to his feelings of dejection due to his other's running away, and thus made him anti-marriage.

Now if Paro had been married before where she had sex, and was a widow, I think Rudra would not have a problem. I think at some level he respects relationships but is open-minded enough to accept widows

😊😊🥱 lols..there is no question of forgiveness...its all about acceptance...its rudras wish to do anything before he is comitted &itcwas only him in that life & it was the normal physical need...it goes to women too...uts completly upto them. Now after wedding he choose to tell her & like how he is a janvar & she accepted it the same way he had done this tooo...so its all her wish..neither way I dont blame paro nor Rudra...& same goes to paro if paro was having pre marietal sex
