completely agree
just i want to add about paro and rudra also

any show can be written from two ways
story focus
character focus

initially there was both, strong characters as a result of strong past and story

now the characters dont have any base

there is no logic in anything , tracks are left in between , and moved on only to get some paro rudra scenes , i doubt whether audience will be interesting in watching romance between the leads if there is no story backing it
like paro plans to leave but is making rudra dependent on him
rudra is being excessive soft ignoring his previous fears

and the rest , laila breaks a button and smirks assuming rudra who is annoyed by her sight will call her to mend it
and yeah she pours chili water just so that we can get rudra to take care of paro

is it sustainable ??? i say No
audience is intelligent
and we have mohini all hail and hearty , so that she can do something stupid and we get some paro -rudra scenes

the reaction of all the characters including paro and rudra is unidirectional just to seem sweet and romantic

the entire plot is so that we just some sweet looking scenes

and about the director , the scene is sweet because it is paro and rudra , the guy who is scared to commit and the eternally optimistic paro
that take this away the scenes will look made up , so it is the writers and the crteative team not the director

I agree with each & every word you said. . And the worst ,I feel,is this tyag of Paro hanging on our heads,as a result even Parud moments aren't enjoyable ,for me atleast. How the hell are we supposed to enjoy those moments or sympathise with Paro when we know that she is going to leave him soon. How?? Looks like CVs are clueless as what to do .

I agree, it's not a problem with the direction it's a problem with the script. The beginning of this serial was absolutely amazing. Somewhere along the way in the quest for better trps the show has lost it's way. Hopefully this is resolved soon as this current track doesn't give much hope of that.

What irritates me the MOST is that the Laila track doesn't have to be this redundant. There are many mature ways to deal with her. Yes, she's evil, but she's also hurt; she's jealous, but she's a woman who has lost her love. She can be the antagonist. But can't she also be a person? Not just a black puppet working in tandem with Mohini (whose characteristic features have eroded as well).

Had I watched the PaRud scene with a good supporting story, I would have loved it. But the entire thing didn't make sense, and the magic just passed by without me being able to grasp it. Even the dance. The actual performance was one of the prettiest Sanaya has delivered. But the motives were too flimsy.

Completely agree. They failed on this right from the start. Wasn't she supposed to be an informer? She has always been portrayed as a hooker... with the dialogues, clothes, the body language... Can we ever have the 'other woman' not colored so black. Perhaps, it was a way to absolve Rudra of his sins. Would have preferred if they did not take such a stereotypical path.

ideally speaking if she is an informer and is caught because of that , she deserves a lot of attention
she is being bashed , rudely asked to leave after believing takur id behind her , because of her profession , or because she is not some one you can keep at home
it is a different thing that she is all black for convenience of all , what if she is telling the truth ,what if she changed , before getting caught she is treated like a criminal
and after getting caught mohini is treated like a queen

Sorry to hear that...Even I love PaRud and want to continue seeing them...but the leads alone can never lift the burden of the show on their shoulders. RR has an amazing cast, but there is no smart story that could engage all of them...which is the only thing that will work when it comes to TRP's😊

Yeap...bring in Tejawat, bring in Thakurain...add them to the mix, it makes for a great back story

Thank you for this post. It was much needed. I can only hope you don't get touted as the "basher" by the eternal optimists on the forum now.😆

On to the topic, RR is not working, at all. I don't know how to explain it but there is nothing in the show that will prompt me to wait eagerly for the next episode, and tune in without fail. The writers change tracks at the blink of an eye. If you see successful shows like SNS, DABH, YRKH wagera wagera (Yes, yes, I know you all are rolling your eyes, even I can't stand these shows guys, but they do rock the TRP charts) is they stuck with their original plot line, and the numbers just followed, they weren't super hits from the moment they started airing. That is why I feel its imperative to stick with the vision you have. RR gives me the feeling of a headless chicken running to and fro, they change tracks without even giving it time to properly develop, characters go missing for no rhyme or reason, no explanation given for anything, storyline is so stupid it feels like writers think their audience is composed of moronic retards. Its a big royal mess right now. And if they don't pull up their socks then no matter how pretty or wonderful the leads are, or how crackling their chemistry is, the show won't last long. Content is after all, always king.

one more post from me 😊
the simple thing is all the changes or concepts boils down to whether you like the episode or not
whether you want to watch it or not

some time back , through a friend i remember talking about a show that is being aired in a similar space , they i mean the channel worked on the show for about a year before beginning the work , enormous amount of back ground work went into figuring whether to emphasis on the story or the characters
the entire research was to find that which will have better reception and how
the show didnt do well initially but is doing very well
this space is about every day adaption keeping the vision alive

here as far as RR is concerned , we can argue that love stories "trp aunties " as we call here do not like it , but so was office track , no liked it , but the trp topper is a show that shows a woman who aspired and becomes a IPS officer

how did they reach there , it took them years i agree but how did a office track hating trp aunty give all her love for this show

the trp aunties are the same , the target audience is the same i still cant watch an episode of the show , they changed the viewing habits of their own target audience

and how ???through correctly characterization and correct emphasis

CID another example , they have such childish crime stories there were much better crime show didnt work nothing close to CID
how ?
ACP pratuman , daya , abijeet the characters we associate with, the show can be watched by a 6 yr old child , that is their core competence
in most tele soaps that i feel characters are the core of the show
here i see an issue with RR ,what is its core competence
lets see ,is it the characterization of rudra and paro
the show is about a man who is not your regular guy , agreed , but what they should have done is make him so interesting that even if we dont relate to him , we want to see his reaction , his actions, here they fall apart

there are no big stars i n TV cos it is a daily affair , 3 hr i can waste , every day 20 min i cant

i also agree with the side characters , mohini and noe laila doesnt have a plan , they is just for the sake of getting a scene like here a hospital track , chili scene , rudra shouting , no characterization at all

i used to like kaki in the beginning i dont any more , i just get bored

actors, even the support cast is pretty good , the plot was different , trp and mainstream is a different ball game all together , just having a few kitchen scene some chili and ladoo doesnt make it for that target group
