Someone had to say this. The show is reaching a point of no return. I wonder how they can possibly salvage it. I hope they figure out a way.
What irritates me the MOST is that the Laila track doesn't have to be this redundant. There are many mature ways to deal with her. Yes, she's evil, but she's also hurt; she's jealous, but she's a woman who has lost her love. She can be the antagonist. But can't she also be a person? Not just a black puppet working in tandem with Mohini (whose characteristic features have eroded as well).Had I watched the PaRud scene with a good supporting story, I would have loved it. But the entire thing didn't make sense, and the magic just passed by without me being able to grasp it. Even the dance. The actual performance was one of the prettiest Sanaya has delivered. But the motives were too flimsy.

Completely agree. They failed on this right from the start. Wasn't she supposed to be an informer? She has always been portrayed as a hooker... with the dialogues, clothes, the body language... Can we ever have the 'other woman' not colored so black. Perhaps, it was a way to absolve Rudra of his sins. Would have preferred if they did not take such a stereotypical path.

Agree to an extent, the creatives have gotten lost somewhere between the male villain and the love hate story. I wish they hadn't changed plot.😛
I love how you have written the above , I agree with it ...I do hope the show gets some luck and like you said , a new lease of life ...
