Laila's track should have come much later and the execution of the track should have been more smart than the been there, done that kinda way

What irritates me the MOST is that the Laila track doesn't have to be this redundant. There are many mature ways to deal with her. Yes, she's evil, but she's also hurt; she's jealous, but she's a woman who has lost her love. She can be the antagonist. But can't she also be a person? Not just a black puppet working in tandem with Mohini (whose characteristic features have eroded as well).

Had I watched the PaRud scene with a good supporting story, I would have loved it. But the entire thing didn't make sense, and the magic just passed by without me being able to grasp it. Even the dance. The actual performance was one of the prettiest Sanaya has delivered. But the motives were too flimsy.

i felt same way too, the motive was too flimsy...she did not dance when moochiya got bangles...atleast then it wud have some sense...

I was really hoping Mala and Tejawat would be back soon. That will bring so much intensity into the show and the story. Once again , Paro and Rudra will be at loggerheads. Regarding Mala, of course. Not Teju.

Thanks hun...I thought so too
😊

U know we discussed this in chat that instead of changing multiple directors every 2-3 weeks , they need to change that writer because problem is not with direction , its with the screenplay and writing dept .

I know comparison is not the way to go about but look at some of the top shows today they have a storyline that gives them power. A shows success definitely lies in how intelligently and smartly the writing team and creatives come up with something. Actors, acting, director directing yeh sab toh secondary hai...unless there is a strong solid script there is not way RR can reach the heights it is supposed to

Directors r doing their job according to the script given to them and I find the execution of scenes good too .But story ka kya and thats the major worry

Worry toh hai bohat bada worry hai.

U r right , Romantic moments should b part of a story and story should not b made with few romantic moments put together ... thats where RR is lacking ... they hv brilliant actors and sizzling chemistry between leads .. all they need is to weave a story around these ingriedents they hv ...

Exactly ST has managed to pull of a dream pair and every time they come close, sparks fly and it's there for all to see. Only he can do something about this and I really hope he does.

I felt they sort of packed up Tejawat and thakurain track too quickly .. that was a major story and trps would hv definitely picked up if they kept Thakurain and Tejawat in picture with the curiosity of whether mother-son will meet or not or how will Paro find out the truth ...

Bingo I agree...they should have played around it...and since Paro knows Mala, it would have been great to see some of the integral characters play it out.

Laila should hv been brought later on and not so soon .

Yeap...this is like making a khichidi and it has come to my understanding that all these stunts are for TRP's...seriously some people are delirious.

Anyways we cant do much but wait and watch and try to make sure CVs read this feedback and do the needful in terms of writing a proper gripping story around PaRud .

On it already 😉

Lovely post!
Hope somebody from the RR team reads this.
The biggest issue that I have had with this show is the story, which they seem to have lost since Tejawat left. Since then there has been no story whatsoever. Only a small number of tracks like the Jaipur track have worked. The other tracks... erm..!!
It has so much potential and a fab star cast, they just need to stick to what they want to show and trps may just follow.
I'm actually really scared for this show and hope the sinking ship can be saved!! But the question is can it be saved now or is it too late??

Yes...if this continues to go just like this without head or tail...there is no freaking way that they can salvage it.

For me, I never wanted the Laila track to happen now in the first place...having said that I agree there was no need to pull the usual gimmicks. They could have made her one of the mist powerful antagonists, even powerful than Mohini but they have just let it be.

Exactly my point, when I was the PaRud scenes, though I enjoy them...it's not fulfilling and the reason is the lack of a story where these moments would look glorified.

Director isn't the problem, it is the story writers who have to improve.

I still don't think RR is a sinking ship, but I admit, since Jaipur the show has been meandering A LOT and not in a good way. It is the sudden jerkiness of tracks that is really hurting the show. Immediately after Jaipur came the laddoo track. Then comes Laila. There's no connect because the CVs aren't allowing us to and because of the rush of tracks, the other characters are sidelined.

Someone should send this to ST, GH & the PH in the hope that they might read this. I sympathize with them because they & Colors desperately want the TRPs, but now's the time to get back to good and consistent story telling.

I still have hope for RR though because I am drawn into the show everyday and I still enjoy it. No other show on TV (English or Indian) has this effect on me like RR does. I'm hoping that the new promo offers some new and interesting storytelling that will make everyone happy.

I am an RR fan...so please don't think i am bashing...
I feel these last two weeks especially after the jaipur track, the storyline is a bit cliched...the execution of the scenes is good and Parud scenes are the saving grace...but the plots after the jaipur track are common in many tv soaps and quite below average...
Eg..the laddoo poisoning, illogical explanation by the doctor, the actual culprit mohini escaping, saas-mistress evil schemes,...
Hope RR returns to its uniqueness!

It is time they went back to the drawing board, and decide what is it exactly they want to show. The show has a stellar cast and fabulous characterization that are systematically getting butchered. A show cannot just survive on romantic scenes.

Bingo...they are bringing in sub-plots after sub-plots when they can bring in a really good plot and add all these characters to it with PaRud ofcourse being the center of attraction.

Tracks are rushed, loops are being closed at warp speed. I agree even the characterization are systematically getting butchered.

Who would Paro possibly be adamant to keep Laila at home, when she knows that it's causing discomfort to Rudra. She is trying to make peace with him, why do such stuffs that he is not actually comfortable with.

Rudra gets what he wants, why is he so tongue tied before Paro in Laila matters...after all haveli is his na???

All these things are being done to accommodate Laila and her story, but it's clearly not helping😕
