Hi Diya...words like Jallad and Janawar...do not even begin to capture what I like about this character...They are completely misleading...and indicate...either I have completely misunderstood things or am misunderstood...
Perhaps the tough guy I am looking for never existed...it was all a thin shell...and the real story is a little boy needing a mommy ...in that case...I have picked wrong...because I assumed it to be something engrained...not a shell that too a thin one ...that he can throw off...in a week or two...because he is just so eager...
See ...I don't have a problem with Paro supporting him overcome his emotional issues...Thats great...But he is NOT a little boy...He is a man ...who has evolved the way he has...and him just switching back and forth from this one to that one...without spending time on the conflict or the process of the transition is just too meh...for me...
And now they are labeling ...and I can see junta lining up to the black and white...
Good vs bad
Paro vs Laila
Good guy vs Jallad or Janawar
The subtlety is missing...
the issue is exactly that , the little boy is just an aspect of rudra's character , not him as a whole
he had faced a lot of loneliness and isolation that he made his job his centre of life ... i can completely agree to that , but here what they are doing is making that aspect as the center of his characterization
previously when rudra who was so badly trying to protect his job, he was rude , we justified saying job is the center of his life
what is happening is the characterization is very unidirectional each time and there is no flow , and i am not happy with the execution
what msin said is a very strong situation the man the caught up , that is being handicapped all of a sudden without knowing when he will recover , or wether he will recover at all
but except for a dilsher -prasad scene was that any scene where he is trying to deal with this
lets see
what is the situation
he has just escaped a near death experience (considering his profession i would say not life changing)
his past GF who ones tried killing his wife is back
he was poisoned by his family member
he has been handicapped
but what we get is happily ever after scenes , to be it doesnt add up , for the single simple reason they didnot show how we reached here
they didnot show rudra deal with his demons
fact is justification should come from the execution , that i think is missing , viewers will not understand the shift until they show the transformation clearly
