I loved the fact that you could pretty much sum the entire story of about 93 episodes in just one OS, albeit a very long one!!! But I loved your style of narration and how the story of Paro and Rudra progresses from their very first meeting on that rainy day in the bus stop...

Ohh I loved your version of Dilsher too... And am glad that this Dilsher did not ask Rudra to hold the beauty of women against them, just because one turned out to be bad...

And the emotions... and the thoughts... of both Paro and Rudra were bang on!!!! That moment when Paro says "she felt exposed yet protected"... I could feel it myself!!!!

But, having all said and done, I could't bring myself to believe that they died!!!! 😒 But, I guess I'll make myself believe that they were meant to be together, forever... Even in death!!!!

👏

Whether it be one word or a hundred I always cherish my feedback, but I will also confess that I automatically smile when I see a long comment, lol :)

I am touched that you enjoyed my story so much... despite the sad ending :)

Paro and Rudra will always be together... Perhaps this time is was meant to be together in death... sigh...

As for Dilsher... I could always sense the soft side to him in the show, he reminded me of my own father at times. A man who is there for his child no matter what, his pain pushed aside in order to ensure the happiness of his child and I felt that no matter how bitter Mala had left him, he could never transfer so much bitterness into his son... But alas, things are not always as you desire... Thank you for fanfictions! LOL

This was like watching a movie. A beautifully crafted tragic tale. Paro and Rudra are still together. But not in this world. I hope at least the villagers are rid of the Thakur. Or it will all have been for nothing.

Your words tell me that I brought my story to life and that is one of the best things someone could have said to me! :)

And yes, the men had been defeated and Thakur was taken under custody... Their deaths were not pointless.

This was beautiful Titaliya baisa, I am just speechless now!

What a wonderfully engaging tale you have woven for us!
I loved how you took elements from the show...like Rudra's Rudraksha, Paro's doll, the wedding sham, Dilsher's advice on beautiful women...and you put your own spin on it.

I especially loved the motorcycle encounter, the sweet, romantic moments between them left me with a smile on my face.

Your simple narrative technique combined with some very interesting ideas, made this story a very nice read!
And all the scenarios you put up were so plausible, yet so interesting, it made me think at times that I would have really enjoyed watching this kind of track on the show as well!

I know your Rudra was different from the one on the show - softer, gentler - yet I couldn't help falling in love with him...
He seems to embody the man of every woman's dream - strong, smart, handsome, brave, loving, caring, sweet..

Your Paro was in her element here, jumping to save her Nandu Jija and taking on the bride's role..

I am of course a big fan of happy endings and was looking forward to one here as well, However, the way you ended this story, made it more poignant. My heart was heavy as I finished reading, to know that such a sweet love story was destined to live such a short life..

I am very, very impressed by your writing Baisa and I do hope that you would write more often on PaRud...
Do drop me a line when you do, I would be keen to read more of your work!

Lots of love
Maya

PS: Do consider changing the title of this thread to "SS" instead of "OS" so that people are not surprised at the length! 😉

Hi Maya! Call me Anjani!

Like I said earlier... I just LOVE long comments :) They make me smile even before I read them, lol.

After actually reading your comment I am over the moon!

I know that my writing techniques aren't too unique or special, but I liked simplicity and so it makes me happy when others enjoy it as well :)

Adding my own spin from things usually comes from what I think would have happened or what I wanted to happen. So its just my way of fulfilling my little desires for PaRud, haha :D

^_^ I love it when people love my characters, I don't know its like they've noticed more than just the storyline, paid a bit more attention and it makes my day :)

Honestly, I despise sad endings! But when I sat down to write this I literally did not stop until I was done! And the sad ending just came, changing it felt almost wrong...

And thank you for your wonderful comment <3

Love,
Anjani, xoxo.

Paro taking her cuz place in wedd is SOO in keeping
With her character.

Awe, thank you for your comment. I am glad you liked my changes in their characters :) as for the sad ending... I honestly hadn't expected it either, but it just happened :(

When someone catches the small details in my story it makes me very happy :D

1. Rudra is not such a dark character and comes across as a normal one with all warts
2. Dilsher is not as bitter as in the show and that again is probably the reason his son is also more balanced
3. Paro and Rudra are equals here and thats something I always like to read or watch
4. The brief encounter at childhood stays in their memory and becomes the catalyst for their union - well brought out
5. Sad ending but since this is a story and not going to happen on the show I reading enjoyed it
6. No Laila here - thank you - the current track is dangerously going downhill - hope the CVs pull it off well showing Paro to have some spunk - its ok to see a naive Paro at times but not a stupid one - how does a wife and an ex live under the same roof with the man and even shar the same bedroom albeit briefly? But then only in tv dramas ...sigh!

Thank you for all your points :) I am happy I was able to share a story with you that you enjoyed!

And for the last pat... even though that track is kind of over... I'd like to agree! However, I don't think either Paro or Rudra were ever to blame in that track and its created situations :) but to each his own, of course! :)
