I am sory Lady La la but women like such shows thats what they say! I am sure that the TRP distribution across the country is lopsided and I have many proofs to that! A show that has been going on for ages is not followed by anyone that I know! But theys say it sells! The show business is all about doing what you want and blame it on the audience! Films like Three idiots were block buster hits then why do they say only sex and crime sells? Its the same with tele serials! I have seena few serials when I was yound which were very good but never survived! ITS all a different ball game!

n the title of ur post caught my attention ...

i am a fan of Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya , a daily 10.30 show on SP, which was the top 1 in its time for sometime... it also showed grey ML n forced marriage but the FL never took or tolerated shit from ML ... there were even situation of attempt of maritial rape but she stood her ground (can't fault hero heroine too as they were confused due to circumstances n MU) n even the ML once took her on gun point n bound her in his jeep n asked her to apologise for no fault of hers, but the FL didn't budge ... now the diff is that FL hated ML due to MU , but the CVs never showed FL as a dormat ... n silently suffering even when she fell in love with the ML , seeing that he is not as bad... n was mainly the victim of MU ... in these times where ministers go announce n encourage that boys makes mistakes n they could be forgiven for any attrocity they commit, i think the CVs of this show must show a strong female ... coming to the scene u mentioned , it was also shown in a colors show LTL , 9.30 pm ...or so i heard ...
