Dear CVs
Did Paro say toffee or did she say toufa(gift)?
A girl who didnt know what a gas stove is would not be knowing the exsistence of a word toffee. It had no desi accent in the way she said it.

Toufa seems to fit the situation perfectly

I am sure I heard Toffee. In many places including villages they say Toffee for chocolate. So Paro knowing it is totally fine. 😊

Maybe Paro wants to give toffee as toufa.
See SJ interpretation of toffee giving.
