Some may see romance in it some may consider it hot and passionate...after all this is a romantic story, and we are talking about the lead couple...so that's the bigger context...which is important ..
Others may call it abuse...and rightfully so...
The way I look at it...
It is a story about two people locked into a desperate situation...
One using his power and her situation to force his will on her...
The other...holding on with a firm resolve...
Each having their own conviction on why what they are doing is moral...
One, who does not want his fight and his soldiers death to go waste...
The other stands by her belief that nothing wrong was committed by those who were killed ...she shouldn't be forced into a false tesitmony...
By legal or moral standards...I have no doubt about who is crossing the limits...
This is a fight that I do not want Paro to lose...because no one should be forced into submission against their will...I do not doubt that Rudra will not carry out his threats to do any physical abuse...It was nice to see real concern on his face...when she was burning her hands...but he came back to his intimidating self into the very next scene...which was well played by Ashish...Sanayas portrayal of helplessness was awesome...conveying all the feelings without words!
Regarding marriage itself...in a society like theirs...Paro living with him without marriage is more unfortunate for her than being married...Living alone is also not an option...
However, it would be great to see...something fouling Rudra's plans, so that this marriage does not happen...until Paro accepts it...
