You are an amazing writer, I think we have already established that! The part you wrote about Rudra's agony is exactly how he would feel, and for that you need a big round of applause!''' what can I say I am addicted to your OS's. thank you so much!!!!

Monster sa,
You write evocatively no question about that. You make us feel Rudra's pain and despair as if we were right there beside him.
But hthe Laila on Meera30 OS 'The Other Woman' & SJ's 'Garam Hawa' & Tattle's Drabble on Laila resonates in my mind. Couldn't accept her hurting Rudra so so much. J2C.
But then 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' so...

This is the first Rudra and Paro fan fiction I am reading. And I am glad I found my way to yours. Love this juxtaposition of then, now and after - makes the pain seem so real and all tied in with the hope of a better tomorrow. I think it takes something special to write a story that features so many damaged people - Paro, Rudra and Laila without coming across as too simplistic, one with too much telling and little showing. But you obviously are a really brilliant writer.
Like what you have done with the General character - as a patriarch-figure full of tough love. I hope the character in the show takes that turn.

I think my favourite part was the 'Bindi' episode. And Rudra's moment of understanding about her as 'simple, unimportant, but possibly the most important part of Paro's life' was brilliant. That is what friends are after all - unremarkable people who somehow become remarkable to us. Though I absolutely abhor the recalled to life story arcs that soaps routinely use, a part of me (the one fed on one too many Bollywood's picture abhi baaki hai mere dost sagas) would love to see Bindi return. Hehe.

Thanks for writing this and look forward to reading more.

You ARE going to continue this, aren't you? AREN'T YOU?! 😡
I am getting totally confused between this and Drabbles ... both are playing alongside in my head ... but I can so imagine this happening in the show down the line ... Rudra's obsession for Paro will cross all bounds.

Fabulous writing! I love all your YAT series 👏

Totally unexpected and brilliant!

I did not expect to see Rudra's fears of Paro leaving him to manifest this way. All the things he secretly yearned for and attempted to squash deep within him were finally starting to become his reality...and his absolute terror of losing the person who is at the centre of it all. He might lose her not because she chooses to leave him but because of a choice he made that acted as a catalyst for someone else's choice.

Cannot wait to see the next part to this tale. Rudra, Laila and their realized fears. He of losing Paro and her of losing Rudra...

i wonder if this could even be a premonition of what Laila could do in the real story too.. if she will shatter their happiness after they truly become one and surpass the problems and find happiness..

wow amazing writing once again..

I only have a small disconnect - would there be a part inb/w the yesterday of this update and the previous yesterday where Rudra beats up the other two jawans for trying to get to Paro?

anyway just fab! and i cannot wait to read the next awesome part!!

Princess:

Absolutely. I am going to take the story of the Jawans being beaten up in future OS with a different "element", so Paro starts to actually think a little about the Jallad as a man and not just a monster from her nightmares.

The disconnect you feel as a reader is intentional. This OS series towards the beginning shows a really large gap between Yesterday and Tomorrow. If you recall the first one, she is literally starving in the yesterday, versus cooking wonderful food for her Rudra in the tomorrow. The OS series starts out night and day, but as they go on, the gap will get shorter and shorter, and less contrasted.

I want to kind of work backwards--shortening the distance between the yesterdays and tomorrows, until the whole picture builds up and you can see the progression (from horrible to wonderful) completely.

So the story line and the "theme" of the next Yesterday and Tomorrow OS is---hehehe...keep reading!
