The BDS(M) that men do lives after them,

So let it be with Rudra.
The noble Paro had told you
Rudra was cruel and wrong
If it were so, it was a grievous fault.
And grievously had Rudra answered it.
Here, underwearing Paro and the rest.
For Paro, is an honorable woman.
And so are they all.
All (Laila tsk tsk) honorable women.

IMO, Rudra : Honorable :: Mohini : Polite 😆

Well written!
No, he isnt' honorable. He may be fierce, loyal to his country and dedicated to a cause but an honorable man doesn't do what he did today. A man who is cornered and afraid and is striking back - that's what Rudy boy is. He is full of bitterness and hate and no one I've ever had the privledge of knowing who had honor had any of those qualities.
I admire his determination but I'm not liking him right now. I know people will justify and say he is cornered, his job means everything etc but to me that's not a good enough reason for his behaviour.
I wish Paro was the type of woman who could kick his ass - quite literally.

A village would order gang rape of a woman to save its honor

A panchayat would hang lovers of different castes for the sake of its honor

A jury will stone to death an adulterous woman in the name of honor.

A police force would violate human rights to get confession out of terrorists in honor of their country

Rudra thinks he is doing a service for his nation and his means justify the end.

Btw, where is the BSD handbook on How To Treat Your Witness? How about some thinking on How to Conduct a Raid on A Barath?
Or How To Offer Housing to Your Witness?

Correct boli.

Honor is subjective. Paro is a revolving door of a subject. 😛

I would never understand why people to so much for their badge or honour as I don't see from their view point.

This isn't making sense is it 😆

i think i would subscribe to the same thought process... i said 'think' cz i am not even that sure as to what to think!😆

On a serious note, well i am actually confused. cz he TRULY believes she IS GUILTY! We know she is not, but imagine IF SHE WAS actually guilty, would we be asking this question?

example - if the situation was such that there were security cameras that recorded everything and Rudra had all the proof he needed to prove that the bharatis were terrorists. And if everything else happened the same way and Paro was taken in to custody then NOTHING she says will ever get her freedom. She CANNOT prove she is innocent in this situation.
No court or judge will believe her, hell she won't even get to see a court or judge as terrorism is dealt differently. She doesn't have any rights either.. This is not India specific, world over its the same treatment..

Do innocents get ill treated unfairly? = YES
But do real terrorists also get the deserving treatment = yes

So this is a subjective opnion. There is no correct answer as far as i see..

AND another thing. Rudra is NOT going to lose an uniform only. He is going to be court marshaled. Do u know what that entails? Sever physical punishment too along with military jail term. And for what? for doing his duty to the country.

And i honestly don't believe he is doing this to keep a job or an uniform., Its to prove that those soldiers who died did not die in vain..

THANK YOU for this post!!!
I was angry with Rudra today ... he used his power over a defenseless captive, on whose guilt he has not a shred of evidence, to get back at his scheming aunt, and also to get her to sign a paper to prove HIS innocence.

Neither are the actions of an honourable man.

Are they justified? In the real world, maybe, where grey is really grey. Here the only excuse he has for his actions today is that this is fiction.

Never mind HER innocence ... that doesn't matter. It's all to save his job, which is his life, so it is justified.

i find nothing romantic about this track

Let's not talk about the Indian Army ya.

Dangerous waters there-- all things honourable, AND dishonourable.

Par abhi ke liye, let's just talk about our personal opinion of Rudra. 😊

True story. There is no one definition of honour and that makes this harder to answer.
