What to say about PaRud they fight behind closed doors for defending the other in public!

There were some deep dialogues uttered in today's epi. I like that many of their questions leave them stunned, yet they fail realize their actions provide the necessary answers.

Paro has forgotten irrelevant of her situation as captive, her duration here, she doesn't hold any importance for Samrat's family. They have no reason to feel gratitude towards her stance and support (despite the sincerity) above the insult of their mother, similar with Maithli. She is foremost bound to her husband and his family.

I'm assuming Paro's naivety in thinking for the moment & not the wider consequences of her actions lies in having her life and future mapped out by others always.

It's an unusual contrast in her considering she is perceived as a mature & calm person by nature, Forethought, foresightedness on her involvement would be expected from her. Her lack of experience of people and life has limited her vision tremendously. Hence with Maithli, she is moved by the heart more than thought of where and what she is revealing.

Rudra has survived enough betrayals on that score to ALWAYS trust his mind.

The bond that is slowly forming in them of reliance and responsibility. She reliant on him for protection, identity, honor now. He is responsible to keep her alive. One day he will become reliant on her care, presence, whilst she will be responsible in removing his misconceptions.

Both looked hottt in the lep. spin, pinning scene..☺️😆😆...one startled and heaving the other in a daze 😛...I think he knew from the touch it was her, the spin was just to frighten her, a forewarning😉. I loved the conscious way she fixed her scarf 😛 It still grates on him that she became someone else's even for a few hrs... "naam ka patti"

Mausam Sa's dialogues rock in Dilsher's co....His satisfaction seeing what he predicted for these two coming true.

And the last scene was very poignant, 'If you need anything, ask me'. Rudra has been delivered his fair share of blows to harden him against exposing this kindness.
Today he saw another good soul being punished for the same. He has survived the scars, become a beaten human.
I think in that little moment he wanted that trait to survive in her. And offered a hand to her in the open that she can rely on him.

Sofna 🤗 Delighted that you like it. Love your points.
Have to tell you that that the bed scene almost evaded description. It was the bit I struggled with.
@ Their actions give them their answers: Wonderful insight!👏 He won't let her take a hit, and she will turn to him for protection, completely sure he won't let her down.
@ Paro not considering the consequences of her actions: Seems to me that in this case it was a very emotive issue close to her heart and her current need to belong blindsided her to the wider ramifications. She will lead with her heart, but she has been shown to be cautious before. Like when in an earlier episode, Bindi was urging her to get inside the tempo with the shaadi-ka-joda, and Paro was the one holding back. That's why Friday's throw-all-caution-to-the-winds was a bit jarring.
@Rudra and mind: Except when it comes to Paro. 😆Then it short-circuits. Like in the border confrontation, for the life of him he couldn't have shot Paro, neither could he have let Varunsa take Paro across the border.
@Reliance and responsibility: Great point! 👏 Paro may not want to take his 'ehsaan' and be beholden to him in any way but the fact is that she has him to thank for saving her life and honour already.
@ He knew her touch: Very probably, at some level, though the reaction was from the gut.
@ Naam ka pati: That was delicious!! He's got an exposed nerve where that is concerned.
@ Dilsher: I wonder how much he saw/heard. Not all of it I hope!! 😳😃
@If you need anything, ask me: Rudra is actually quite a sensitive soul. And particularly to anything concerned with rejection. We've seen it before when Mamisa and the villagers rejected Paro. And now with Mythili. He felt for her. But he was going to be much softer that morning anyway. 😃

Today really was the focus on Rudra's connect with Paro as her shield, his anger, confusion and guilt paving way for his empathetic and caring side. He was a shield when he rose to take her hurt, he openly admits she made a mistake and she should be punished, but he will take the punishment on her behalf a true lover when it does not matter who gets hurt her hurt is mine and we are equals so it does not matter where the strike lands.

His anger erupts at her the first obvious concern being she disclosed her secret not that she interfered in family matter. It is when Paro talks of family he reminds her of the harsh truth. He is telling her in his own harsh way that this family is not worth her love or loyalty. He knows the cruelty of this haveli of horrors he has lived it how they broke him and he doesn't want her to waste her breath, her tears and most of all her personal safety for these ingrates.

Confused he is when he doesn't know why he did take the slap for her, confused again he is when she tries to heal him and his heart is pounding out of his chest and he is choking under emotions he can't comprehend when she is pinned down under him. He desperately wants to clear this confusion by reminding himself and her that he is her destroyer but it is not he but her who brings up the fact that she is innocent.

I think Rudra is at that phase where he has pretty much accepted that Paro is not directly part of the gun smuggling case, which means he must be feeling guilt too for harming an innocent. His guilt at tormenting her, his confusion of his own feelings, and his fear at losing her that she will go away from him if not for this case that is slowly losing scope of her need to be prisoned to him or worst it is death that might finally separate them all this is putting Rudra through an emotional blender.

He feels empathy for her when she tells him she has no home and he feels her loneliness when he knows she is alone in this horror haveli. He asks her to put aside her forlorn face and reassuring her that she doesn't have to be here too long so not to be sad what an awww moment. That fails to cheer her up so he grasps her hand not just asks her to stop, but physically clutches it to remind her he is there for her and always will. His empathy is stretched to allow for her to be amongst people not to be stuck in a room all day when he sees how depressed she is. He calmly tells her she can go amongst people if she wants but asks her to cover her face to which Paro obediently complies.

He connects with her loneliness, who knows better than him what it means to be lonely no one to talk to, to be abandoned and lost and all one feels is an ocean of despair, so much so a man who shares his hurt with no one reaches out to another lonely soul tells her from his heart that she can come to him. He reminds her how he told her that no one in this horror mansion is worth her love but it is only he that understands her pain and is there for her. I think this was the most poignant moment in the show between them so far.

Poona, 🤗 Thank you!!
Potent, was it? 😳😃 Good to know - wondered how it'd read. As you well know, when a scene is extraordinary, it inspires you to try that much harder. Must say I enjoyed writing all of the post - but there was too much in yesterday's episode to do all of it justice. Just delighted that you liked reading it. 😃

Hey Sabs!!
Utterly lovely post!!! Your posts I always look forward to!!! There are always some thought provoking things to read about in it!!

This episode is one of my favorite ones! Rudra is melting!!! And how!!! He is seeing different facets of Paro and is showing different facets of him to her! They are slowly opening up! Their loneliness is going to bring them together eventually!! Dilsher's delight at knowing what he had predicted about these two, coming true was so genuine! It made me smile at this man who is equally hurt by his wife's action. But the sweetest thing is that he doesn't want his son to go through that pain and he knows that not all beautiful women run away! For that matter even Rudra knows that but given his experience, he is not ready to accept the truth. Paro is slowly but surely changing Rudra's perception of a beautiful woman! The first of that experience for Rudra was return of Paro when he had laid the plan for her and her Mamisa to be caught red-handed meeting each other in Birpur! She came back for whatever reason but it sure must have jolted Rudra from his perception that a beautiful woman always runs away!!

Thank you for your detailed analysis and comment. 😊
You make some good points.
@ He offers to take her share of blows: Great explanation! It doesn't matter where the strike lands!!
He doesn't know why he took the blow. His mind can rationalise it by saying that no witness under his protection must be ill-treated, no matter what her crime. But he has no answer to Paro's question of why he took the slap. It's difficult to explain a visceral urge. One that has become embedded in him now - to protect Paro and see she comes to no harm. But also to take her share of grief. And part of that is because of his guilt at the grief he has already caused her.
@Rudra has accepted that Paro is innocent: Agreed. More or less, barring the niggling question of why she won't give up the Thakur. And Paro finally affirming her innocence has only cemented that suspicion, so that there is great relief and he can move on with his feelings.
@ Mixed emotions Yes Rudra feels a cocktail of emotions where Paro is concerned - guilt at his treatment of her plus attraction plus the fear of losing her - and so he hasn't been functioning from the mind as he's used to. The guilt is particularly dominant now that he believes in her innocence. And he will bend over backwards to make amends - find her a family. Throw in attraction and fear of losing her, and the impending marriage announcement becomes clear.
@ Empathises with her loneliness: Yes he was particularly kind to her after Mythili's rejection, going out of his way to cheer her up. He tells her she doesn't need Mythili and the others. He offers himself up as a substitute friend. And gives her the option of not returning to her room. That was one of the few times he has shown her real tenderness. He is learning to feel that gentler emotion for the first time in a long time.

Today's episode was a packed, emotionally charged one. So much happening! Rudra and Paro's relationship passed turbulently through yet another phase, where she can now rely on him to protect her and he can now expect her to take care of him. Their new knowledge disconcerting both of them. For Paro, it was the tell-tale change in her nightmare that she couldn't quite square - the juxtaposition of the destroyer with the protector. For Rudra, it's the first feel of tenderness and care that he doesn't quite know what to make of.

A brilliant post...but the summary is just too fantastic...👏👏⭐️⭐️

What more could I possibly add,,,,awesome dear
