...to catch a thief! It seems our Major Sa firmly believes in the adage. And is not above some nautanki (all puns firmly intended😉) himself. Having tried all the arm twisting, angry yelling in the world, and gotten nothing but the Jallad moniker in return, he takes the help of espionage 101. Plays nice with Paro to the extent of feeding her himself ( never mind if the rotis are all burnt...that is the best he can do, we are informed most graciously😃). And the wonders don't stop there...he apologizes (okay, sorta apologizes) for not having believed her story and promises to let her go. She is skeptical, but he delivers on his promise and escorts her out at midnight, gives her a shawl, hundred rupees and directions to get to Birpur.

So far so good...she gets on the bus and reaches Birpur without incident. But our Paro has not stayed with him for all these days for nothing...she has unconsciously picked up on some of his ability to sniff out danger and subterfuge. So she notices a rudraksh wearing arm at the ticket window! Precap shows that she is able to use the mirrors on her lehnga to see that Aman & Major Sa are following her...
atta girl!⭐️ What will Paro do now? Lead them to her Mamisa's house, or do a bit of nautanki of her own ? Jaan-ne ke liye dekhna na bhoole, Rangrasiya, Mon-Fri at 9:30 pm 😆😆

Needless to say, I am loving this😃...this is so much more in line with the story than the forced eyelock and TFC (trip, fall, catch if you really must know😉) of yesterday's episode. For the record, there is no dhak dhak between them yet and that is exactly how it should be. Both are adversaries in the most broad and deep sense of the word, nothing more. Yes, the lilting tune and enticing lyrics of RR bg seem to suggest otherwise, but I am strictly storing that for future...relatively distant future. 😊

Between yesterday and today, the father-son relationship has also come to the fore quite nicely. Both are prime candidates for a severe PTSD diagnosis. His mother's palayan has left both Rudr and his father intensely traumatized, and the years have not healed the trauma, rather these two have ensured that the wounds never heal...because they keep picking on the scabs. They both don't let the other forget it for a moment...Ranavat Sr. jibes at Rudr on his return from Chandangarh... "your mother was waiting for you there, right?" So the only way he has been able to deal with his own inadequacies, is by framing the incident as that of a mother's desertion of her child, not the wife's desertion of a marriage and husband. Dark, dark stuff. Yet, Rudr loves him...and in his own way, takes care of him.

Other thing of note was the awww-inducing lub between Samrat and his beendni❤️...she is being set up to be one of Paro's allies when she returns to the haveli. MoChi Sa got in a couple of her zingers, that were adequately snarky, though a bit benign compared to the day before.

So what do you think? Would love to hear from you...😃

Indeed i loved the part where she finds the man with the rudraksh suspicious but the precap <33 she uses her lehngha (this is the reason she hasn't changed!!!) to catch these boys out. I think she will do something to trick them or escape them however leading them back to Mamisa or Thakur i see that it is unlikely..plus if she gets spotted by any of the villagers they all will question Thakur as he did pronounce her dead

The unique bond between father and son is awesome and his Dad is quite funny..love his little bits he has.

Samrat does seem to care for his Beendni but what use is that when he will keep mum when MirchiSa starts bossing her about. But the Beendni does seem like a sweet girl so i think she will get along with Paro

Visi 🤗 I have said it before, your post makes it all better 😊 I liked how he handled her today.. taking into consideration perhaps his senior's words of advice/caution. I almost kept waiting for them to pull the good cop/bad cop routine

bringing her to his own house wasn't sitting well with me and I kept wondering what the point is.. but he also made such a brouhaha of waving guns and building fence, and of course ruffling feathers to keep her there only for a few hours 😲

Visi... always love your explanations ... yes ... the two men carry scars that they are refusing to fill... they keep scratching away at them... what a relationship!!!
Explainiya pleej why WPP was for 1/2 a day? Shouldn't the order be

1) Bring her to his place
2) Release her
3) She goes back
4) Thakur's people see her
5) Chase her
6) He saves her and enforces WPP

Visi.🤗 very nice take as always.
One of the episodes that left me with mixed feelings.😕. They could have done with some real good editing.

The good - Nice balancing act with time shared equally between both sides of the rope baarder😉 Paro's unflinching gaze at the time clock counting down the seconds to her freedom.

The bad - The 'follow Paro' scene was amateurish!! Why does he send her back in a matter of a day or two after staging such an elaborate death scene?

@Bold: Yes exactly!!😆 So the 10/14/28 stint of the red lehnga actually had a reason😲...some method to the madness😉😃

Loving it!
The mirror on Paros lehenga seem to be the special convex type...to catch a full view of our Rangrasia and his sidekick😆

People ridicule the father and the son both for his moms deeds...while the dad drowns his shame and frustration in alcohol ...the major still wears the pain on his sleeve...and broods...

Thanks Moxie🤗

I admit this change in tactics appears to be pretty sudden, even random...but I am ready to give them benefit of the doubt...it probably was his plan all along, to fake her death and wait for that news to reach the key people. Once they were convinced that Paro was dead, he would be able to put the next part in action...that of sending her back and catch them off guard. After which he has full intentions fo bringing her back, to keep as the bargaining chip. That is why he needed to establish a safe house for her.

As I posted on CC, the parts are all good. Sanaya and Ashish are amazing to watch. In fact everyone in the cast are very good actors.
The little interaction between Rudr and his dad was very well done. The small touch between Samrat and his wife was heart tugging. MoChi-sa, kaka-sa, their youngest son are all doing very well.
Paro and Rudr's Rang-sa-ve look a bit forced but acting wise they are ⭐️
But but where the show falls flat for me is the story or rather the sequence of events. Paro had no role at all in the entire bring her home to hide her. The main story was Rudr coming back home, introduction of the family member and dividing up the house. Could they not have gotten to that point some other way? By setting Paro free, they make it seem like the last entire week meant nothing.
What I posted some place else -
Today's episode
Complete show behaves like a kid:
What are you making beta?
Drawing a car, Mommy!
Why does the car have wings?
Because I had some extra time, Mommy!
Why did Paro have to be shown to be dead and taken to Rudr's house?
Because they had to fill up a weeks worth of episodes!!
Precap
Hero continues to act like a kid:
We will go hide, Mommy, you come find us.
OK, go hide.
No no baby, you hide under the bed. I will go and hide there.
8..9..10..Ready or not here I come!
he he he *giggling loud enough to give away location*
