So far so good...she gets on the bus and reaches Birpur without incident. But our Paro has not stayed with him for all these days for nothing...she has unconsciously picked up on some of his ability to sniff out danger and subterfuge. So she notices a rudraksh wearing arm at the ticket window! Precap shows that she is able to use the mirrors on her lehnga to see that Aman & Major Sa are following her...atta girl!âď¸ What will Paro do now? Lead them to her Mamisa's house, or do a bit of nautanki of her own ? Jaan-ne ke liye dekhna na bhoole, Rangrasiya, Mon-Fri at 9:30 pm đđ

Needless to say, I am loving thisđ...this is so much more in line with the story than the forced eyelock and TFC (trip, fall, catch if you really must knowđ) of yesterday's episode. For the record, there is no dhak dhak between them yet and that is exactly how it should be. Both are adversaries in the most broad and deep sense of the word, nothing more. Yes, the lilting tune and enticing lyrics of RR bg seem to suggest otherwise, but I am strictly storing that for future...relatively distant future. đ
Between yesterday and today, the father-son relationship has also come to the fore quite nicely. Both are prime candidates for a severe PTSD diagnosis. His mother's palayan has left both Rudr and his father intensely traumatized, and the years have not healed the trauma, rather these two have ensured that the wounds never heal...because they keep picking on the scabs. They both don't let the other forget it for a moment...Ranavat Sr. jibes at Rudr on his return from Chandangarh... "your mother was waiting for you there, right?" So the only way he has been able to deal with his own inadequacies, is by framing the incident as that of a mother's desertion of her child, not the wife's desertion of a marriage and husband. Dark, dark stuff. Yet, Rudr loves him...and in his own way, takes care of him.
Other thing of note was the awww-inducing lub between Samrat and his beendniâ¤ď¸...she is being set up to be one of Paro's allies when she returns to the haveli. MoChi Sa got in a couple of her zingers, that were adequately snarky, though a bit benign compared to the day before.
So what do you think? Would love to hear from you...đ
