Nice detailed write up. Thanks. Loved reading it. Loved the episode and the Parud scenes were well shot and enacted , yes the first scene reminded me of the classic scene of the show that cannot be named. Sanish were brilliant as usual.

Such a fabulous episode 👍🏼 Rudra and Paro were outstanding. Loved the scene where her eyes are glued to the clock and his on hers 😳 Bandaging her hand and the way she was held by him just reminded of similar iconic scene from another show.😆
Must say Paro BaiSa has turned out to be quite a Bond girl to be able to see both Kunvar Sa and Aman in the tiny mirror on her lehnga 😃
The scene between the elder son and DIL of Kaaki / Maasi was sweet. Seems the son is aware of his mother's casual cruelty towards his wife.

Thank you Sonia 😊 Great comment!
Truly lovely scenes yesterday. I'm deeply impressed by Paro's resourcefulness with the mirrorwork - augurs well for the future wife of a BSD-man whose espionage techniques aren't quite the finest! 😃
@bold: lovely phrase. And apt for the treatment Mythili is getting at the hands of her m-I-l.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...That was hilarious.🤣...
But the look he gave her whilst bandaging her hand was☺️
☺️☺️☺️☺️...

I'm sure the epi was loaded with marriage symbolism, starting with Rudra clearing it with his father outright she is a witness.
The burnt roti n sabzi deffo played a part in activating the alert, manipulative brain cells in Paro 😛, for she was all weary and cautious after that .😆

I was waiting with bated breath for him to remove those bangles when they were jingling,😳instead he became glued to her!!😆

It was an amusing epi, with Parud blowing hot and cold on each other.

Samrat and his wife scene was sweet.
Both the elder sons share traits of their father's.

As usual a beautiful, detailed, eloquent write up.👏

Lovely comment, Sofna.
@ the look: Aah yes the look will keep me going for a bit.😆
@the bangles: I think Rudra's done his bit in breaking those bangles, now the remaining few will probably see a more ceremonial removal.
@ hot and cold: Yes between rescue from chairs, Jallad, pinned to the wall, bandaging, won't eat, feeding, bangle-cuffs, goodbye, drape-shawl...eyes are doing the tennis match back-and-forth thing! 😆
@elder sons: Samrat the sweet and Rudra the gruff...😆

Trust me if the bangle had broken and cut her palm ... I would have started crying ...it still cuts deep for me..kuch yaaden hum nahi bhulte..
Nice episode... Very nice analysis...

Thanks msin.😊 Glad that its GH reprising these classic scenes on Sanaya. And even happier that they've been remade with a twist, which will make them RR's own and more memorable for that. Having said that, Sanaya's reaction to being pinned to the wall was largely similar to the previous classic take, but nonetheless effective.
Also, I love that this episode gave us Rudra's own "Ab Theek Hai?" Hayee!! Waiting for the next time we hear that. 😳😃

It was a lovely episode today. and it's been intriguing to see Paro grow a little, she has started defying him, and now going by the precap will outwit him too. She wasn't able to make up her mind about him, the flashes of compassion did not go well with the overwhelming cruelty she has seen from him. But the midnight deception will put at rest all doubts for now.

Then this unusual ride, this journey of three very damaged individuals in a household full of crazies will move into the next phase. Looking forward to it and reading your takes as things unravel.

Thank you, Spirit. 😳😊 Do please call me Bugs/Sabs...whichever you like. 😊
@ Cooked dinner: That's what threw Paro completely - that the Jallad had cooked her dinner. It was a lovely touch by the CVs.
@ Paro growing up: He's making a woman out of her in every way that counts.😳 And it will backfire on him - he already finds her difficult to handle, none of his experience with women/criminals is working with her. For a change he's dealing with a woman who just about tolerates his presence at best and doesn't back down from confrontations.
Agreed, after this deception, he'll be painted totally black for Paro.
@ household full of cazies: Lovely description! Oh yes, already hooked to the anticipation of that journey.

@ The palm torn by the nail, not the bangles -- Ha ha ... All these days, I have been tempted. To go back to the first scene of her dressed in her bridal attire and attempt to count the number of bangles on her hands and then attempt to count the number of bangles she broke in her grief in her prison cell ... and then do the math. Well, her bangles are made of sterner stuff. They will break only when she breaks them. All of his manhandling earlier too hadn't broken them. So, the CVs had to resort to the nail.

@ Who disturbed Kakisa's sleep -- Pray, wasn't she swatting away the mosquitoes?
It's the mosquitoes who were drawn to the *honey-tongued* kakisa and who kept her awake! I am not sure that she heard those bangles. But, if the lass had continued sashaying down the corridor, she certainly would have heard them.

@ Dialogue re snuffing out the light -- that certainly had me guffawing too.

Did you also notice that the makeshift bandage was tied differently through the episode?
Did you also notice that the lad ensured that he got back his handkerchief from her when he released her? Reckon he wanted a keepsake? Oh well, the handkerchief might just come handly. Now that she will go missing, he can get some sniffer dogs and set them on the hunt ... probably to lead him right back to him and to his haveli. Only one question remains -- how will she pay the bus fare back to Chandgadh? Yes, he has RReleased to her the location of her house-arrest after assiduously keeping it a secret earlier. Tsk tsk ...

Just one question: Since he has let it become known to the villagers that she is now Late Paro (not late because she arrives back home late in the dead of the night), aren't the villagers likely to first scream "Bhoot" and run away in fear rather than embrace her with joy?

Thank you! 😊 And for your insightful and crisp comments.
@Bangle math: Yes they will come off when it's written (by the CVs 😃 ) and not before. Plus Rudra's already done his bit. So probably a more ceremonial removal awaits.
@ Kakisa's sleep: Yes definitely broken by the mosquitoes. The bangles jangling is what Rudra assumes has disturbed her sleep, and hence he muffles them. And gives us a delightful PaRud moment.
@ Handkerchief: Was much too sleepy last night to pay attention to if the handkerchief was tied differently. Have I missed something significant or was it a blooper? Def noticed that he took it back from her. Aahh keepsake for sure, although he won't admit it.
@Return Bus Fare: Hmmm leftover change? Magic money? Will hitch a ride? Prevail on the goodwill of the conductor?...Let's see what the CVs have in store.
@Bhoot: Definitely! Hence the shawl to keep a low profile, hide her jewels, cover her back. And he let her go at midnight when most everybody's asleep and almost no chance of recognition. Also, he was just waiting for Paro to meet Mamisa so that he could end the game.

Not meeting his reproachful eyes, Paro continued to rebel against his authority. She would not eat, she said, no matter what. So Rudra resorted to the 'khaana khao, ghar jao' tactic he'd learnt at the hospital. And as Paro eyed him in disbelief, he begged her forgiveness - he had no proof of her involvement in gun-running. Once more he thrust the plate at her. And as hope kindled anew he pronounced her sentence complete. Paro was free to go!

OMGG I never thought about it that way 🤣 He may have got this new idea from nurse 😆 To persuade Paro like a mom do her child ;D

Paro's eyes flew to the clock. She'd taken the bait. Rudra resumed feeding her, eyes trained on her mouth for the sake of efficiency. Paro never looked away from the clock and missed the triumph that lit his gaze followed by that darker emotion when he thought of how close he was to nabbing the Thakur.

I was totally in AWWW of this scene 😳 She looked so damn innocent when looking at the clock and he was stuffing food in her mouth.. 😆 ❤️

Awww thanks Candy.❤️
@bold: That really was a lovely scene. She was completely unaware of him feeding her. And he was completely focused on her mouth - only to check if it was empty for the next bite of course. 😆 The CVs just gifted that one to us to make of it what we would.

I liked your pointing out Paro's response to Rudra's rude talk with his father ... disbelief that he could talk to his father like that, that the man was Rudra's father ... she an orphan who has longed for her own parents, couldn't believe that he could be so callous towards his own father ... hence the return of the 'jallad'.

Didn't notice that he had cooked dinner for her ... thanks for pointing that out. Also said in another post ... Rudra is a caring person, because he has had to be ... he has been the parent in the relationship with his father ... caring does come naturally to him. Even though he hides it under a gruff exterior.

As Spirit Sa said ... Paro had started to trust him a little ... at least she was ambivalent about him ... was he good or all bad? After this deceit, she will have no doubts ... the budding trust will evaporate.

@anobserver - good point ... Rudra revealed the location of the safe place to Paro ... so how does he know she won't reveal it to the Thakur? Or is he confident that he will reach her before she can manage to do that? Knowing how soft she is, the last thing on her mind would be to reveal where she was held ... he will get to her way before she reaches that stage.
Or does it not matter to him anyway ... even if his kaaka's family gets into trouble with the Thakur, he couldn't care less.

Thank you Diya. 😊 And for your lovely comment.
Server was down and hence this delayed reply.
@BOLD: Very acutely observed! Yes he's most likely been the primary carer for a father to lost in his own emotions and alcohol. And hence the care for Paro. No wonder Paro was shocked when he mentioned he'd cooked for her. Does that also mean we mustn't read too much into his feeding her and throwing a shawl around her? Damn!
@ Location: Rudra doesn't seem to pay too much heed to consequences, does he? Took Paro to Birpur from the cell that first time and had her rejected by Mamisa and the Thakur, and his plan foiled. And now yet again he sends her off, taking the risk of her being recognised - he's just so sure his plan wont fail. He's constantly underestimating her, and paying for it.
