I think the Rajistani dialect been toned down abit. I hear Paro talking in normal Hindi before I could actually sense Sanaya struggling with the dialect in the second episode now she's talking fine.

Is he? Ok...I wasn't talking about the dialect so much as accent...but may be I am making a point that is unfair...if he is from Rajasthan...how can you ask him to lose the Rajsthani accent a bit😃

But still there was something about that scene between him and Sanaya when he is asking her to continue to hate him...was a bit more raw than I like...perhaps they do have to back off on the purity of the dialect...because the audience is wider than people who will know the accent and are less prejudiced for that reason...Sanaya has backed off...but hers was put on any way...she is not from there...I don't think he has backed off at all from where he started...

Of course you can call me Sush!!,😃

Hey Sush,

My imagination is going haywire after that little lecture he gave her at the beginning😲😆...I'm still wondering at the need it?😛😉
I mean she cannot be the first female 'suspect' or 'witness' he has encountered/protected.😆..Was that actually a warning to her AND Himself??!!! 😉,,
An AYM army officer, a fragile beauty as 'hostile witness' (as u mentioned). A dangerous situation. Emotions running very high. Both alone with each other only. There is after all a thin line between love and hate!
And the way Paro looked at him after that, is it somewhere slowly chipping away the barriers? Esp since Aman cleared one misconception? Very faintly, on the surface as of now. But these little shockers will complete the puzzle that is Rudra P Ranawat Later i think.

Kaki/Maasi knows the right note to hit, reminding his resemblance to his betraying mother at the same time making sure he understands he is not welcome here.

Yes, Ashish has been stealing the show since his entry. The role of Rudra was tailor made for him. I can't imagine another actor bringing that raw, aggressive appeal to his character as well as he does. He aces the emotional front equally well. I love the way the cv's r making great use of his very expressive & intense eyes. We can read his entire story in one flicker of a gaze.
He's a good actor, but his previous female leads where & story line 👎🏼. He was the only reason worth watching a few epi's here and there.
Brilliant actors and a strong story line make for a show well worth watching. So far casting, story has been really great. I hope the TRP catches up to this shows worth.
And last but not least, the misunderstandings are genuine AND Authentic. The 'Aurat ho na' dialogue has for the first time made sense to me in a serial.

About the violence, I'm a squeamish person. I avoid normal fight scenes😆...but somehow peeking through my fingers I was compelled to watch Ashish!

Hi Sophie!!

I think that line was a reaction to her calling him a Jallad, asking death rather than being with him..etc etc...I mean the Major is not used to a girl rejecting him..Right? .The woman company he keeps is happy to throw herself at him...and may be Laila is not the first one either..😆

.So, this time He is like...so you don't want to be with me? I don't care...but that's what will keep you alive so suck it up!!!

Really looking forward to them being alone..together😉

OK...About the TRP...

My mom in India loves it...and she is a TRP auntie for sure...😆
My sis in India refuses to watch it...because she has Tweens at home ...who she thinks it is not appropriate for...based on what she has heard...and I myself told her not to watch it with kids, specially when they showed the Laila angle...

I think the promos is where they messed up...Indian audience is a sucker for love stories not for heroes pulling a gun on a helpless female bride...That was a totally wrong shot for the promo...

Then, the first 2-3 weeks the story had lot of testosterone but not much tenderness...I would say again...people in India want feel good dramas they can watch with family...

I personally don't care about TRPs...but all creators want appreciation of their work ...and like it or not..TRP is a measure of that...

So, the solution is to air promos that are more on the love story and the stylish Major Rudra and less on the violence...and nachnewalis ...If I were the producer...I will change the advertisement firm they have hired...not necessarily change the story...

Are the trps low? If they are low...I am not surprised at all. As you said, violence towards women is not something that trp aunties will want to see keeping in mind the various cases in India. Here the makers are showing Rudra extremely violent towards a witness/criminal ( I am confused)... But the point is there are certain protocols that an officer should follow and treating a woman suspect like a animal will not go well with the aunties for sure. My aunts here in US have rejected RR just for this reason. Another important reason is the amount of violence / scenes with a prostitute they have shown. The scenes with Laila were extremely vulgar...that is what I felt. The trp aunties will not accept such scenes because they will definitely not be ready to see Rudra/Laila scenes knowing that Rudra/Paro are suppose to be together...believe me although my aunt here is extremely progressive, she still cannot fathom it...let alone the aunties in India.
The producers need to tone down Rudra/ Laila story and focus on the lovestory of Rudra/Paro. That is what the trp audience want to see...their story...definitely not cringeworthy scenes with Laila. As a matter of fact, I will not be able to digest Rudra/Paro lovestory if he still continues to venture around Laila. It looks extremely distasteful.

Hellooo😃
How long will it last!?

Methinks, the mission will end when Paro baisa finally starts seeing 'her' Rudra in MajorSa. Then he will shrug off their attraction/whatever it is at that point and say, I was just doing my duty and set her free. Something like that. So may be he is right in saying that to her...and when it does happen. We will see flashbacks of this moment...Nothing will hv changed then, Paro will still be crying and randomly fainting, but Rudra will deposit her at Birpur instead.😆

Here's another something...

His mother, a much married woman supposedly left home for another man while he has brought with him to his home another man's wife...go figure. I think this is supposed to complete some cycle in the serial world, surely!?
