hey sush - you made it to the RR forum. I did not see you at TP and I find you here - yes RR is rocking for me with my dear Sanaya and now Ashish:) Both virgo perfectionists and down to earth and both articulate in their interviews.

OK...About the TRP...

My mom in India loves it...and she is a TRP auntie for sure...😆

My sis in India refuses to watch it...because she has Tweens at home ...who she thinks it is not appropriate for...based on what she has heard...and I myself told her not to watch it with kids, specially when they showed the Laila angle...

I think the promos is where they messed up...Indian audience is a sucker for love stories not for heroes pulling a gun on a helpless female bride...That was a totally wrong shot for the promo...

Then, the first 2-3 weeks the story had lot of testosterone but not much tenderness...I would say again...people in India want feel good dramas they can watch with family...

I personally don't care about TRPs...but all creators want appreciation of their work ...and like it or not..TRP is a measure of that...

So, the solution is to air promos that are more on the love story and the stylish Major Rudra and less on the violence...and nachnewalis ...If I were the producer...I will change the advertisement firm they have hired...not necessarily change the story...

I feel the indian public takes time to warm upto a show... So initially if the show not fetching brilliant trps... Continue it still for some time Colors change their shows very frequently due to the airing of big boss.. So audience loyalty is only towards Bv,sim... and Uta...the content of the last 2 is so pedestrian but people watch it as they are making food , having food , having guests over ,,, they need not follow every scene...they don't want to analyse every scene..

I tell you what ...I really like the show because the sheer electric palpable tension between the leads..

Major 's sexy strut ..and ofcourse the angst and the brood and the alpha male with hints of softness..

and sanaya the perfect counterfile...

I tell my pet peeve is ...Sanayaa's hyperventilation...I don't think it is a requirement of every scene

Here's another something...

His mother, a much married woman supposedly left home for another man while he has brought with him to his home another man's wife...go figure. I think this is supposed to complete some cycle in the serial world, surely!?

@bold: and I was thinking that Mamisa will definitely taunt him about it..like mother like son or something to that effect when she sees Paro. 😭

Zain...that's what I love about it too...the palpable tension as you called it!

In bold...The major has got all that...😃

I went through ...a couple of other bad boys wannabes after Arnie Bituwa...but this is the first one who has got the level of intensity, excitement, and electricity after our dear boy...

Lets see how it goes...hope you will visit more often...really delighted to have you here!!!😃

Hola spirit sa...!! Something like that is sure to happen...I think our major will fall hard for her too...and then she will leave for some good reason...and he will be devastated that the history has repeated itself...and we will see Arnie style breakdown...Ahhh ...I am already feeling bad for our boy...But...before all that happens...we have all the budding romance and the love hate struggle to look forward to...can't wait...

What I don't understand is regarding the TRPs!! Women have the patience to watch saas bahu shows where the bahu is emotionally tortured everyday by saas but they don't have the patience to watch something real?!! Obviously, there would be violence in the show, since this has border issues and all!! Something that really happens over there (and it's the first time I've heard of it!! So it's interestingly different!!) I wish women actually understood that and give it a chance!! I wish people were more open-minded!! 😒 There is such a thing like 'creativity' which should be appreciated!! Yes, Paro is suffering but it's a story, her journey!! 😒

Shreya...I really do believe that anyone who actually started watching the show will love it...but the promos are wrong which are positioning the show as a violent war tale, where a renegade looking officer is terrorizing a village bride...Thats not the correct image...even the title picture with Sanayas hands tied in the Jeep he is driving sends the wrong message...the correct positioning is a passionate love story...and a very stylish Major who is defending the countries borders, protecting an innocent girl caught in the middle of all this ...and people will flock to it...
