have to take the time to write a detailed review after seeing it for the second time.

first impression.. paro is very much like khushi.
someone with grief, but loving and kind.
the same personality in a different regional mantle.
no wonder the producer wanted sanaya.

second impression. the child actors were wonderful. that little girl stole a lot of hearts.
but i dont understand the timeframe. that was '98.. 15 years ago..he was learning the multiplication tables.. that is 4th std. she dint know what death was.. let us say she was six or seven. the casting overlooked the age and focused on the acting ability of the kids?

third impression.. loved how the whole thing look like a movie. and it definitely looks better on tv than on a pc, so ppl ill make the time to tune in.

only complaint.. we need subtitles for the rajasthani!
we have a huge global fan following for sanaya, who knows only beendni and bhabo in rajasthani 😆

I mentioned it in another topic as well. Their past definitely reflect in the person they are so I'm glad they decided to show us the full story instead of giving flashbacks later 😆 And it was short, crisp and totally upto the point.

Agreed!!! Starting in the past itself was a really good decision!!! If they had it in flashes...it wont have the same effect and might cause confusion!!! It was a good start...clear and crisp!!! I just hope they continue with this trend!!!

Such a beautiful post and brought so much more depth to this saga of Rudra and Paro, Shakti and Tarang.

Hi Diya,

Great post! I am eager to see what plays out tomorrow.

I feel so sad for Rudra and Paro who had to experience such heartbreak at a tender age.

Love the butterfly concept and the parallels to Paro. The CGI of the butterfly was poor though and took away from the scene a bit.

Wish we got more of a glimpse of the adult Rudra...but I think I will get my wish tomorrow! 😳

Love the contrasting characterization of Paro and Rudra. It will be interesting to see how they fit together,

Thanks Diya. Was waiting for your post.
Loved everything about epi #1.
But I don't think that was Rudra at the end, now that I think of it. In the promos, his entry is with a brown leather jacket and he shields her from a predator (officer?) and saves her from the ring of fire (the jump they showed in the sneak preview...)
Didn't understand a few things though (corporal punishment, only boys in the class, why the senseless killings without any provocation... I guess that's where the hate comes in.)
