Khanak: hmm..finally!! (sighs)

Shaan: kya hua??

Khanak: I've got so much to do! Phew!

Shaan: (chuckles) shuru karne se pehle hi takk gayi! (mocks)

Well, she knows her husband very well, she turns to him, she's looking stunning in her dark blue saree, she folds her hands in front of her chest and he continues to stare at her..They are standing at the entrance of Raj's Mansion, whole Khandelwal clan has been filled into the house..At a distance we can hear a voice, we know exactly who it is..

Raj: hey! Love birds! Andar nahi aaoge??

Shaan: Here we go again! Why did you have to make so many friends??

Khanak narrows her eyes, not liking what he uttered for her cute and best friends..

Khanak: (looking at Shaan) coming Raj! (Shaan grins and both walk towards the door)

All were welcomed like as though they knew from ages, well Raj's parents had played an important role in her marriage too, now its her time to payback..actually we are not supposed to call payback, she means that to it, this was just like a miracle, but Khanak is ecstatic, to hear that finally Raj and Nisha had agreed to give a chance, so here it is, an official hooking up..

They are not getting hitched, but yes they are going to be engaged, and Khanak would enjoy to the fullest with her family..

She's about to go in, when Aayush bumps into her, she steadies him, but Aayush doesn't stay put, he runs off, shocking Khanak to her nerves, wait! Where was he running..She nudges Shaan..

Khanak: I'll go look at Aayush and come..(Shaan smiles and nods)

She didn't have any idea what was waiting for her, but before that, she had to run so that she could catch up with Aayush, Aayush comes to a halt after running, Khanak stops near him..

Khanak: Aayush..! (breathing heavily)

She has her head bent down and breathing heavily, suddenly she hears a voice, which she thought she didn't listen to ages!

Dhruv: Hey kandy! (she lifts her face up, there! Her best friend Dhruv, who was brimming with a huge smile, her face immediately broke into a smile)

Whatever was the issue between them, they tried to overlook, Dhruv tried a lot! He was betrayed by his friend, but still here he is welcoming her with warm arms..Aayush runs to him, Dhruv picks him up and plants a kiss on his cheek, Aayush rubs his cheek..Aayush is in Dhruv's arms..

Khanak didn't have to sprint upto him, she walked slowly to him and he too took small steps..

Dhruv: ek hug bhi nahi dogi?

Khanak: (smiles) tum kabhi nahi badal sakthe!

Dhruv: kyun badlun? Aur agar main badal jaon toh kya tumhe achcha lagega?

Khanak: nah! (twitches her lips)

Wait a minute! Did she see a girl, behind him, she peeped at his back, there stood a girl in Anarkhali suit, looking gorgeous, with her curly hairs. Khanak for a moment wondered who the girl was?! But, we also know that Khanak is not bad at her memory, she remembers the thing that Dhruv was engaged too, and even he was going to be soon married..

Khanak: hey! Is that your fianc?? (surprised)

Dhruv: you bet! She is!

Khanak is thrilled, she closes her mouth with her hands..

Khanak: Oh my goodness! (walks to the new girl) I mean.. She's pretty actually too good!

Dhruv nods, while the girl just gives a bland look to Khanak..

Khanak: hi! Im Khanak! (extends her hands)

Girl: (she looks at Dhruv, he's smiling and his attention is drawn towards Aayush) Nitya! (shakes Khanak's hands..

Khanak: That's a cute name! (smiles)

There comes our hero searching for his wife and his son, he's a bit shocked seeing Dhruv, but he found it weird, that his wife was chatting up with a girl while his son, was talking to Dhruv.

Aayush: papa!! (calls out for Shaan, and draws everyone's attention towards Shaan)

Khanak walks to her husband's side, he smiles at her, she holds his hand, as she would do all the time, she made him stand in front of Dhruv, Aayush slips from Dhruv's arms..Dhruv and Shaan are trying to be casual, in front of women who was the reason for feeling weird about the individual standing in front of them..

Khanak made them shake their hands, and Khanak told about Dhruv's engagement, Shaan was surprised too, he just wished both of them Congratulations!

Shaan, Khanak and Dhruv are feeling uncomfortable to continue the conversation, they just stood smiling, while the new entrant was left to watch them with a blank expression..

Shaan: (breaks the silence) Khanak! I guess someone is looking for you very eagerly..(looking at her and smiles knowingly)

Khanak: (looks at him with a questioning look, but then realizes) I see! (grins) Dhruv! We'll catch up with you later..ok? Aayush chalo! (calls out for her son, who was wondering around the swing in lawn, after he hears his mom's voice, he runs upto them, holds Shaan's hands, and starts his bombarding of questions, Shaan answers peacefully as to why they were here, and all those other questions, which came as though they were playing rapid fire round!)

Our couple walks back to the hall, with their son, suddenly Khanak realizes that she didn't even call Nitya to join..

Khanak: arrey main toh Nitya koh bulana hi bhulgaya..(turns to him)

Shaan: Khanak..! aajayenge..

At first she didn't get the obvious, then landing on the truth..

Khanak: ha! Privacy right? (giggles) Not bad Shaan! Tum intelligent hone lage ho?! (teases her husband in front of her son)

Shaan: kya karein sangat ka asar hain! (leaning more closer to her, unmindful of their son)

Khanak smiles and is lost in his eyes..

Aayush: mom! Papa! Hum yahan pe kyun kade hain! (clueless! My baby!)

Shaan and Khanak backs off, both of them clear their throat, and in the next moment they break into laughter..Aayush looked on, not having any idea about what his parents were upto..

Shaan: kuch nahi Aayush! Chalo chalthe hain! (walks in front of Khanak with Aayush, Khanak follows them controlling her laughter)

After about half an hour, she's in a room with Nisha! Nisha had arrived half an hour ago, when she saw Khanak, Nisha had hugged her very tightly not ready to let go, and then Nisha dragged her to a room, all had shared a good laugh at her expense!

Nisha: Khanak can you believe, im getting married! And that to with Raj! (She continues with blabbering)

Khanak exactly knew that, this new friend of her was freaking out like hell, but Khanak was patient listening to her ramblings, as this was common..

OK! Let's get back to the day, from which this all had started, in Doon..The day, Khanak was laughing like hell, Raj had been extremely irritated..

Flashback-
Khanak as usually had gotten up in the morning, Raj was awake too, Raj was speaking to his mother, Khanak had spoken to his mom, then she had got to know that they were looking for a girl for Raj..

Khanak: yeh toh bahut achchi baat hain aunty! (smiling, into the phone, Raj tries to snatch the phone from her, but everything in vain, his friend and his mom wanted him to get married)

Raj had finished trying, irritated he just sat back on the couch, allowing her to complete talk, while Khanak expressed her thoughts about Raj's 'Dulhan'..Raj just sat and watched her, after few minutes she ended the call and walked over to the table, bought the laptop and sat next to him..

Raj: now what??

Khanak: kuch nahi! Uncle ne bataya, ki unhone tumhare mail pe, ek ladki ka photo bheja hain..

Raj: what?? (extremely irritated)

Khanak: abb open karega..(hands him the lappy)

Raj: fine! (yells) (logs into his account)

Khanak: idhar do! (snatches it back from him, Raj hands it over to her and sits there looking at the wall in front of him, while she checked into his mails)

Khanak: (saw the mail, opened it, and there it was, it was Nisha's photo, Khanak couldn't believe herself) Raj just have a look, I believe im having a concussion over here!

Raj: yeh dekho, photo dekh kar tumhe shock laga hain, toh mera kya halat hoga?? (stretches his hands to god, as if begging to god)

Khanak is controlling her laughter, she hands him the laptop, he opens his mouth in shock after seeing Nisha's photo over there..

Raj opens his mouth to say something, not even a single word uttered from him..Finally Khanak bursts out of laughter after seeing his expression..

Clapping, falling over, she was laughing, Raj had warned her to stop, but she couldn't help herself, but to just laugh at his expense! And finally Raj had to chase her down, that's when she bumped into her husband..

At present-
Nisha: ek second! Did you know what was going to happen before itself?? (suspicious)

Khanak: (suddenly fully serious) nahi! Mujhe kaise pata hoga?! Mujhe toh tab pata chala jab tumne call karke mujhe bataya..(stuttering but still confident)

Nisha: lekin you were so calm, when I was freaking out, how?? (recalls her last call with Khanak)

Khanak: (tries to change the topic) who sab chodo na..uske bare main sochke kya faida? Hain na? tum batau tumne itna easily engagement ke liye kaise maan gayi??

Nisha: woh, mom dad ke waja se..holy freak! Maine tumhari intro hi nahi karwayi, chalo chalthe hain..

Khanak: haan chalo! Ek minute! Iska matlab tumhe Raj pasand nahi hain??

Nisha turns crimson, Khanak is able to notice that, this cute friend of hers was shy..

Nisha: woh sab baad main Khanak! (not looking into her eyes, while Khanak laughs, Nisha pulls her by her hand to move out)

Khanak is introduced to Nisha's parents who were as sweet as Nisha..She did watch Raj catching glimpse at Nisha, she had eyed it to Shaan, Shaan had shaked his head at his wife's childish nature..

Shaan: so? how was it?? (Finally finding some time alone with his wife)

Khanak: what? (clueless)

Shaan: the story!

Khanak: how mean? Waise Nisha tumhari bhi friend hai na?

Shaan: haan! Issliye toh chinta ho rahi hain! (mock worried)

Khanak: (smacks him) Shaan!

Shaan leans in, both exchange a hug, happy for their friends..

Shaan: waise Dhruv yaha kya kar raha hain??

Khanak releases herself from the hug, her expression changes to a serious one..
