Part 85

A perfect climate, a perfect atmosphere, a perfect spot, and yes the important thing, our perfect couple!! On a perfect date!!

Shaan had booked a spot, which is quite outside of the city, but still nearer, but now what matters is, about the look of the spot, it seems to be some resort, a table booked next to pool, and all over the place is decorated with the glittering lights and candles on the table..A bunch of red roses were placed on the table, a sound system at a distance, moon lighting over the place..

Can you believe its Shaan, who planned this?? If anyone would have said to him, to do something like this before few months he would have easily denied..But now, since he's in deep love with his wife, and yes with some assistance, he's managed this..

When Samar had given idea of date, Shaan disapproved, but eventually Shaan had agreed, today he'll cover up his mistake, today he'll get his answers for his questions, today…..This day, will be true, may be it sounds like a fairy tale story, but nope!! They are going to experience this real!! A reality which seems like a fairy story!!

He stood at the entrance, wearing a black tuxedo, with white shirt, he was waiting for her, he's nervous, at the same time excstatic, its just him and her and all other things will be placed second to them..

Without making him wait, there she comes, wearing a shoulderless blue gown which goes upto her ankles, which he had wanted her to wear, Khanak wanted to wear saree, but it was Shaan's wish, and Khanak not fulfilling Shaan's wish, nah..that's impossible!!

She's wearing diamond studs in her ears and diamond bangles in her wrists, her engagement ring, these jewels glitter in the dark, her hair half tied up, and half left out, shining in the lights, making him realize, that she wasn't any other woman, she was his Khanak..

Her eyes lit up seeing him, her perfect man, looking ravishing, wonderful, the most handsome guy, but he had his eyes only for her..The thought makes her spirits pouring, she's nervous too, her hands sweaty too, shy at the same time, but she can't help herself from smiling at him..which he returns back to her..

She remembers the past days, from the day he had landed in Dehradun, she had wanted to hold him, she atmost being selfish wanted him to her, at times she use to just stand and look at him, unknowingly she would move to him, at the time she realized that she was too close to him, she would withdraw, fear of hurting him, you may thinking in what way?? She, when she had left him, she had thought that she was not the right person for him, she didn't want him to compel him, she didn't want to throw herself..but he was irresistible..!!

When she had got to know that, he was attending a case there in her hospital, her wishes were scattered to the floor, she had thought that he wasn't there for her…but Shaan was Shaan, he had proved her wrong in the next moment..He was there only for her..!!

She bends her head, as she approaches him. He breathes in deeply, for him she looks the most beautiful, stunning woman than anyone..She had brought happiness and liveliness in his life. He didn't want anything more than that, he just wanted her in his life..all he thought about was her!!

He extended his right hand for her, smiling widely, she accomplished by holding his hand and smiling too..When he held her hand, he felt her hands were sweaty, she would never change..He thought…

As they walked in wordless, she took in the ambiance; her eyes brimmed with salty tears, she's now flying above all the clouds, she looked at him.. On the other hand, he was waiting for her to tell something, at that moment she looked up at him, in the next moment she had leaned on his shoulders, looking around….

Khanak: Thanks a lot!! (softly)

Shaan, simply smiled, embracing her, as cool air hits them..

Shaan: abhi se thank you, I've got many more things for you.. (looking down at her)

Hearing that, she releases herself from him and looks questioningly at him, he just escorts her to the table holding her hand..

When they reached the table, he left her hand but only to kneel down in front of her and grabbing that bunch of red roses from his right hand, only to hold it up to her, she accepts with her million dollar smile.

He stands up; she embraces the flowers in her arms, shivering a bit. He knows that, but still stays calm, what he'll be doing now, he has never done that before, he had never shared his part of thoughts when he fails, even with his family..

Without any more ado, he steps in, extends his right hand once again but for..

Shaan: May I have a dance Mrs. Khandelwal??

Her eyes wide open, but he doesn't wait for affirmation, as he knows her answer, he wounds his arm around her waiste, his other hand gets the flowers from her, she lets it go, her arms go up to his arms..

A soft music plays, both of them sways smoothly to the music, they have done this several times, so its easy for both of them, both are looking into each other's eyes, her hands goes up to his nape of neck, he brings her more closer by pulling her by her waiste, his one hand holds her waiste firmly, his another hand, cups her cheek, caresses her cheek and her neck, at that moment she fists her hand on his shirt and closes her eyes..

His head now drowned in her neck, breathing had become the most difficult for both of them, but still not ready to let go of eachother..

Khanak: I missed you very badly Shaan!! (eyes closed leaning on his shoulder)

He slowly releases, and looks at her, before he could open himself up, she's opening herself.. His one hand caresses her hair, telling her to continue what she wanted to tell him..

Khanak: (she leans on his chest, now her eyes opened) Last month..(she inhales deeply) I've been worst Shaan, harr baar aisa lagtha ki, tum yahi meri paas ho, but when I used to turn around to just run into your arms, but..

Shaan: im just right here Khanak!! (wraps his arms more tighter around her)

Shaan: And yes, aaj ke liye, it becomes 2 months from that day..

Khanak:hmm..Shaan..

Shaan: nahi Khanak, aaj main baat karunga aur tum sunogi!! (decides)

Shaan: aur tum bheech main kuch nahi bhologi, alright?? (She nods while they are still swaying)

Shaan: Khanak, im so sorry for that day..(at that moment she tries to get away from him to just look into his eyes, but he holds her to his heart)

Shaan: that day, I thought, I failed you..(she rubs his back, just to tell him that she's right with him)

Shaan: you were so enthusiastic while filling the form, I just felt that…

At this moment, she forces herself away from him, his eyes are holding his tears back, she just know how he mights be feeling, but she had to clear him..

Khanak: you never failed me Shaan!! Aur nahi kabhi kar sakthe ho, your failure doesn't matter to me Shaan, what matters to me is just you, you Shaan!! (she cups his cheek, brings his head down and kisses deeply on his forehead)

He had his eyes closed, she leans her forehead on his, he opens his eyes, finds her smiling, he's relieved, relaxed, safe in her arms..

Khanak: I Love you Shaan!! (Hearing those words from his wife, he hugs her, she hugs him back too)

Shaan: Thank you Khanak!! For being in my life..(speaks into her neck)

Khanak: agar aisa baat hain, then, I should be telling Thank you for about more than 10 times a day for you..(jokes)

Shaan chuckles, and looks back into her eyes, releasing her from that bone crushing hug..

Shaan: kyun??

Khanak: aur nahi toh kya, u take care of me whole day, meri khaane ki, padayi ki, mere bte..(at that moment he closes her mouth by keeping his index finger on her lips, she stops)

Shaan: hamara beta Khanak!! (her lips curve to lovely smile under his finger)

He removes his finger only to trace them back with his thumb, her smiles fades away, she closes her eyes, shivering under his touch..He looks at her eyes closed, he knows that even she's thinking about the same thing as he is..

In no time his lips covers hers, his hand slipping into her hairs, and another hand holding her by her waiste, her one hand holding his hand which is in her hairs, and another hand at his nape..Both are elighted, to have each other with them, their life just perfect..for them..

After about few minutes, their foreheads leaning, breathing heavily, his eyes opened and her eyes closed…

After an hour, they reach the house back, 5 minute left to strike midnight..Shaan holds her back at the gate, she looks curiously at him..

Shaan: andar jaana zaroori hain?? (her petite waiste in his arms)

Khanak: (smiles, her arms around his neck) ofcourse jaana zaroori hain Mr. Khandelwal!! Remember Aayush wants to have dinner with us, aur hum already late hain..(at the end, she pouts)

Shaan: Khanak!! (wines)

Khanak: (she gets hold of his hand which is around her waiste) chalo Shaan..

The door is opened, but its dark, Khanak pulls him..Shaan is surprised..

Shaan: Khanak itna andera kyun hain?? Lagtha hain Aayush so gaya hain, chalo hum waapis resort chalthe hain..(he gets her hand and turns back to the door)

At that time, lights come back, and there's loud cheering yelling SURPRISE!!

Shaan turns around startled, though it was Raj, Nisha and Aayush only, it was enough for the roof to come down..Shaan looks at Khanak surprised, actually shocked..

Khanak: (comes closer) Happy Birthday Shaan!! (smiles gloriously)

Shaan: (smiles broadly) you remembered??

Khanak: ofcourse I do!! Tumhara birthday aur mujhe yaad na ho, aisa nahi ho saktha..(shakes her head vehemently)

Shaan chuckles, she's still smiling..while our group is impatient..

Raj: arrey waha pe khade hokar romance karne ka iradha hain kya?? (his eyebrows dancing, teases)

Shaan and Khanak looks at him, smiles..

Aayush: papa aao na, jaldi se cake khaato, aur yeh cake mom ne banaya hain..(smelling ino yummy chocolate cake)

Shaan: really?? (turns to Khanak)

Khanak: hum bhi surprise de sakthe hain!! (her eyes glittering)

Raj and Aayush are impatient, pulls him, there's loud cheering from everyone and finally cake is cut, by Shaan, first piece goes to Aayush, Aayush takes fully but doesn't share with Shaan..

Everyone laughs at his gesture, the next piece is ofcourse for Khanak, she eats a bit and feeds the same piece to him, he's all smiles, and yes others too….

Lots os eating takes place, while Shaan and steal glances at each other, asusually she's the same, teasing around, Raj to join also, Shaan and Nisha team up against Khanak and Raj, while our Aayush is the refree to calm them down..

While Nisha gets closer to Khanak,

Nisha: lagtha hain aaj bed main teen log so sakthe hain, ya phir Ayush ko lejao kya?? (her eyebrows dancing)

Khanak looks at her with open mouth, and Khanak whacks her on her arm..

They get back into the party mood, Aayush is jumping on the couch,

Khanak: ek minute..Aayush bait jao..Shaan surprise abhi katam nahi hui hain..Raj!! (calls out for Raj, winks at him, while Shaan looks on)

In the next moment, webcam is on and all members of Khandelwal family, shouts Happy Birthday for Shaan, Shaan is too overjoyed, wishes are exchanged….

After the end of the call, all are seated on couch..

Shaan: Thank you so much guys, for making this day memorable. (smiles broadly)

Raj: arrey abhi katam kaha hua hain..(winks)

Shaan: aur surprises hain??

Khanak: yep!!

She hands him an envelope, he opens it curiously, finds his flight ticket to Mumbai..

Shaan is shocked at the same time upset..

Shaan: Khanak yeh..(thinking that only he's going home)

Raj:arrey bhai poora kholo na..

Shaan: ok..(unsure) opens to find his, Aayush and Khanak's ticket too, and that to for tomorrow's evening..
