As suspected the Kidney Function Test reports confirmed Dr.Ghoshal's worst fears. Being a juvenile diabetic was taking it's toll on the girl who he has treated since she was diagnosed…. what failed his logic was how could her condition deteriorate so suddenly…..she has been monitored continuously for the past so many years…..then how could this happen?

Gunjan was kept under observation for a few more days and Dr. Ghoshal with the help of a qualified dietician drew up a diet chart for Gunjan,increased her insulin dosage and warned her not to digress at all before discharging her.

She started looking paler and frail than before. Her energy level was mostly low. There was a rapid decrease in her weight though her food intake didn't support the fact. Everything around her was suddenly blurred. The only solace was Khanak who stuck to her like her attitude. She guaranteed mirth around Gunjan always. With her around life looked vivacious,radiant and definitely worth living!!!!

Did you get to speak with your Shaan ?(she asked with glint in her eyes)
