Dr.Ghoshal with a junior doc were attending to Gunjan. The first step involved raising her insulin levels which was administered immediately. He knew that she would regain consciousness in sometime. He stepped out of the ER and informed everyone outside that Gunjan's condition was Hyperglycemia.

What's that Doctor Kaku?(Kaku means uncle in bengali)

Hyperglycemia happens when you your insulin receptors are not working like they should. Perhaps your food intake was higher than you thought, or you were under stress or had an illness. Hypergycemia can occur in insulin-dependent diabetics who miss a dose of insulin, or if they are sick or have an infection.
