Hi Guys,
Trying to figure out what's plaguing Shaan so an attempt at some amateur Psychobabble (Psychoanalysis.)đđđ
Me liking this analysis,,,no matter how amateur it is,,,
I was analysing Shaan's Personality using the 5 major criteria/traits and here is what I got....
1. Openness: this is the appreciation for art, unusual ideas, curiosity, adventure, imagination...you get the flow. This distinguishes imaginative ppl like Shaan from down to earth, coventional ppl like dad Sunil. People who are not open tend to view art and sciences with suspicion and may even consider them uninteresting.. hello Sunil..you need to change your perspective some. đđ..
Is this openness only for ART or openness in general..you know no prejudice...because even here Shaan scores...becos even tho he was prejudiced against the 'gawar' khanak in the beginning, he changed that post KKH ..he was open enough...so I agree,,
2. Conscientiousness: This is a trait which Shaan definitely lacks!! He is ill prepared for the future, he lacks aim, he is impulsive and does lack self discipline.. and he lacks a Need for Achievement!! I guess he lacks the hunger for working hard and trying to accomplish something, he tends to give up and get bored easily, for e.g., he did a good job with the presentation but soon lost interest in following through. Fortunately for him his Dad and brother Akki are the opposite and have provided him with a cushion even at this age!! He definitely needs to work on this because he has a wife and perhaps someday a family??đđ
OH!!! Totally with you on this...
3. Extraversion: Yes, Shaan is definitely an extrovert..he seeks excitement, he likes to draw attention to himself, he is enthusiastic and tends to seek out excitement and the company of others. This is definitely not all positive..there needs to be a balance here..
Now this is where I think we should take half a point away...yes, he is an extrovert seeks excitement and draws attention to himself...but when questioned closes up, becomes defensive...so I don' know if this is under extraversion...but yes, he is quite..' If you dont like what I am doing leave me alone, I don't need you'...
4. Agreeableness: Shaan is definitely a very agreeable guy..which is perhaps his most endearing quality!! He is friendly, compassionate, decent, mostly honest, helpful and caring!! Ask Khanak or his friends: Sam and Duck. TG he is not like Mads who is the exact opposite..đ
Totally agree...'most endearing quality'
5. Neuroticism: Well Shaan is certainly not neurotic..or else we certainly wouldn't be able tolerate him!!đ He does not easily get angry, anxious or depressed..or if he does he quickly comes out of it.. Such as when he was in Jail and was really feeling blue..the 10 rupee note helped him have hope again and realise that Khanak would always be there for him.
Hmmm...Simi, yahan pe bhi yaar, I am taking away 1/2 point...He gets easily angry, anxious and depressed and you know what it is usually circumstance or someone else that gets him out of it...remember Khanak eating chicken, 10 rupee note..all of these are situationally placed in his life that help him get out of his neurosis...he never ever has said..'Chodho main yeh gussa thook deta hoon"...even tho Khanak has begged him many a time...'itni maafi maang rahi hoon...thoda tho mujhe maaf kar sakte ho na"...
So he scored 4/5 which is Very Good!! So I would say there is still hope for him and when he has Khanak( who would probably score 5/5,) by his sideđ, he has nothing to worry about!!đ
