Ok, lets kick-start this frozen thread... What was the name of the asur-king mentioned in today's precap?? I couldn't hear it properly .. Does the asur king mentioned finds a mention in any of the versions of Ramayana...?
Kubera being served by Asuras? But weren't they his enemies, and wouldn't they have remained so even after Vibhishan suceeded Ravan?
Leaving aside the Ramayan connections of this story, 2 questions:
1. Was there ever a swarna-kamal;
2. Did Kubera ever have it?
Also, I once read that Dasharath's grandfather Raghu once prepared to invade Alkapuri to get from Kubera wealth, since a brahman approached him after he had given away everything following a Rajasuya yagna. Kubera, in order to avert an invasion from Raghu, showered his treasury with wealth overnight, and next morning, Raghu had what he needed to gift the brahmin in question.
Touching on this week's story: since Kubera had got back his Pushpak from Rama, if he saw that Kush/Luv needed anything, wouldn't he have voluntarily given it to them himself?
