Part 11

Unable to hold Yudi's gaze any longer Rani got up and walked away. She pretended to be lighting up a candle again concentrating on the wick and match jumping slightly when she felt Yudi's hands on her bare waist sliding across her stomach until he was hugging her against him. Her hand holding which was holding the match shook as he gently blew into her ear and she closed her eyes sinking further into his hold.

"Rani, mein ne jab yeh kapde aap ke liye kharide the to maine apne demag mein aapki tasweer banai thi in kapdo mein aur us tasweer mein aap bohot khoobsurat lag rahi thi laikin…" Yudi stopped talking as he turned her towards him waiting for her to open her eyes and look at him.

Rani wanting to hear what he had to say opened her eyes and gave him a questioning look. Yudi placed his hand against her face brushing against her cheek as he moved his hand down to the back of her neck and threading his hand into her hair as he moved closer to her until their breaths mingled and said, "…laikin aapne to in kapdo mein humari saas hi churali. Aap to humari maan ki tasweer say hazaar guna zyada khoosurat lag rahi hain."

Rani's heart sped up at his statement and when he moved even closer brushing is lips against hers as he continued to trail them up her cheek letting his lips linger there. She let out a shuddering breath that broke the silence that had over taken the room. Yudi pulled back from her and moved away from her holding up a finger telling her to wait when she began to ask where he was going. He moved over to a stereo in the corner of the room and music began to fill the room. Yudi walked back to Rani and held out his hand smiling at her. Rani reached out and placed her hand in his, laughing when he pulled her closer and spun her around quickly. Her laughter soon faded as he pulled her right against him and started to lead her across the room gently swaying to the soft music playing in the background. Rani tucked her head under his chin breathing in the smell that was uniquely his. Her arms tightened around his shoulders and his tightened in response against her waist his fingers stroking her bare back in time with the music sending shivers down back her back. No words were exchanged between them as they swayed for what seemed like hours to them but still wasn't enough for them.

Yudi couldn't believe he was holding the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his arms. Ever since he had seen her he was unable to look away from her. She had captured him with her innocence. He didn't think she had any idea of how amazing she looked and that was one of the many things about her that drew him closer to her. He moved his hand up her back until it was tangled in her hair playing with the pins that held her hair up pulling them out.

Rani feeling his hands in her hair remembered that she hadn't filled her maang with sindoor. She pulled away despite his protests and ran over to the table with the painting to pick up her sindoor container and while there she gently caressed the painting, thanking god silently for giving her such a kind, caring and loving husband. She walked back to Yudi and held out her sindoor and Yudi looked up to see her empty maang understood what she was asking him to do. He took the case out of her hand and opening it, took out a pinch of sindoor. He moved closer to her and moving his hand to her maang filled it. Rani closed her eyes feeling complete. Yudi pulled his hand back and stared at her thinking that she looked like a true bride but felt that something was missing. He soon realized what was wrong. He walked closer to Rani who still had her eyes closed and reached behind her pulling her dupatta from her arms making her eyes open in surprise. He placed her dupatta over her head and stepped back. He nodded his head saying, "Ab aap phir se humari dulhan lag rahi hain." Rani looked down shyly but remembering his words telling her not to look away from him, she slowly raised her eyes to meet his. As soon as her gaze met his she forgot everything, the only thing that she could see was the look in his eyes that made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the word. The love she felt in his gaze warmed her whole body and the desire in the gaze sent shivers down her back.
