congratulations to u too on your wedding!take plenty of pictures of your chooda days...as u wont ever get to wear your chooda again,once u take it off.

For those who do not significance of chooda: Chooda is the Red & Creamish' wedding ceremonial bangles. Thereal ones are made of ivory. Girl's maternal uncles (mamas) bring the chooda. And once it is worn, for 40 days it shouldnt be taken off at all. After40 days, some girls reduce it in number and then keep it as long as they want. Then the "nanad" takes it off, and bhabi gives some gift to her nanad. Then it is thrown away in a flowing river so that no one else wears your chooda.....

It is a very beautiful rasm and I am really enjoying my chooda 😛 and sure that Juhi is too 😊

thats the reason i m still not ready to remove my chooda...even my hubby loves it..

haha ridhi, my hubby is so bad, he keeps making these bahanas....... he says "it bothers me while i am asleep or he would say, your skin under the chooda is going to be so pale and i am like.... so what 😉 my mother in law is with me, she says wear it as long as you want, i am on ur side...... Haha...... so there go all his reasons for me to take it off.... it was funny when he told one of his male cousins (who is like a brother to me) to actually convince me to take it off... his cousin said "veer let it be, coz the day it comes off bhabi is going to start demanding choodiyan with every suit she buys..." hehehe, actually he got married few months before us and went through the same 😛
