For Sangeet when I saw Juhi, I realized that she is still wearing her "shaadi ka Chooda". I felt so good because I have been married for almost 4 months and am still wearing my chooda..... My chooda is almost the same as hers 😊
For those who do not significance of chooda: Chooda is the Red & Creamish' wedding ceremonial bangles. Thereal ones are made of ivory. Girl's maternal uncles (mamas) bring the chooda. And once it is worn, for 40 days it shouldnt be taken off at all. After40 days, some girls reduce it in number and then keep it as long as they want. Then the "nanad" takes it off, and bhabi gives some gift to her nanad. Then it is thrown away in a flowing river so that no one else wears your chooda.....
It is a very beautiful rasm and I am really enjoying my chooda 😛 and sure that Juhi is too 😊
