Satyabhama also was kinda his cousin since yadavas are this huge huge family itself.

Its all that keep it in the family nonsense.

His parents were first cousins for.Gods sake!

Yep that is the most popular theory for Radha.

She never went to Dwarika. Some stories mention their meeting but in Kurukshetra even there I do not remember what the point was. Im guessing Dau brought Nand Yashoda with him.when he came to scold Krishna and Radha tagged along.

But tab bhi Radha had given Ayan ko Dwapar version of divorce and waa independent. Abhi how did Kutila even allow this?

I think I heard somewhere ke Krishna felt guilty/Radha can see him from Vrindavan so theyre not worshipped together. Not sure tho.

They have totally destroyed every logic by now. Radha and Ayan belong to different castes in this show right ? Wasn't there a strict cast system present back then ? Ugrapad stopped Krishna from performing Satyanarayan puja stating his cowherd caste being inferior to that of a brahmin then how on earth he accepted a girl from the same caste as his kulvadhu ? Radha too was from the cowherd community no ? Women back then weren't given social prominence. Radha being called Radha rani in popular culture is probably related to her being Krishna's dil ki raani and not Barsana ki mukhiya. Radha's parents,in-laws,villagers and even Dwarika's subjects being okay with Radha's stay at her Boyfriend's palace is utterly stupid. Even today's people aren't this progressive and here they are showing a society much older.🤔

Really ! I never knew that ! That's the reason Krishna's maternal home kinda became his paternal home. Also wasn't there any sons of Kans to claim the throne after Ugrasen's abdication ? What happened with that Mathura monarchy btw ? Please please can you provide a little background to Krishna's maternal and paternal grandparents ? Also was Devaki Kans's biological sister or cousin sister ? Cousin marriage in some Hindu communities are common though corss cousins not parallel ones.

Krishna, as Nand Nandan, was a Suta. (Since Nanda was the illegitimate eldest son of Shurasena through a Shudraa Daasi that is why Vasudev chose him to keep Krishna safe)

Radha was a Kshatriya, her father Brishabhanu was the King of Barsana. Nand was only the mukhiya of Gokul, and Vrindavan was somewhere in between where they took refuge so as to save themselves from Kans' demons.

Radha is called Rani, because she was the 'queen' of all the cowmaids of Barsana and Jarat. They were the ones to give her this epithet because she always took care of them and solved their problems like a real queen would. Her complement in this was Krishna who was called 'Rakhal-raja' or Cowherd King, because he was an integral part in Nand baba's administration from a very young age (and like to play 'war' with his friends)

Ayan Ghosh was also Kshatriya, living in a village called Jarat, and Radha also shifted to Jarat after her marriage. Only after that divorce thingy she came to Vrindavan and lived in a ottage by the river.

Here's the cousin chart:

Ahuka/Vrishni -> Ugrasena, Shurasena, Devaka, Kuntibhoj

Ugrasena -> Kans, Devaki

Shurasena -> Vasudeva, Pritha (Kunti)

Devaka -> adopted Devaki at birth

Kuntibhoj -> adopted Pritha at a young age

Devaka and Kuntibhoj were childless.

Kans had 10 sons, Balarama killed them while Krishna was busy strangling their dad.

Their main problem is they're trying to explain it all using India ka constitution. Dwapar yug mein it was all different na, polygamy was the norm: Rama, Balarama, they were exceptions.

Like different kya hai iss show mein. Like every other soap, the hero has 3/4 girlfriends apart from his true love and they're all fighting over makeup and family business ka toh koi invisible jinn hi raha hai. 🤣

Whoa ! So basically Nand baba was Krishna's badepapa/chachu. Mind absolutely blown ! That makes Yashoda maiya Krishna's mother from every point of view.😭❤️😭 Thank you for clarifying Radha's Rani designation. 😳
