Who is the author of Brahma Vaivarta purana ? Vyas ? I think it is a pure fiction written from a fanboy perspective just like Tulasi's Ramcharitmanas with some twisted originality.

So many saints so many theories. I'm quite skeptical about Radhe's existence. Why would the original author not mention her given her prominence in Krishna's life ? That's why i think of her as the symbolic representation of Gopikas' love and a female form of Krishna manifested purely for romantic passtimes. Her going to Dwarika etc sounds a bit dramatic. Krishna was very practical and above worldly attachments. I at times feel bad for Rukmini. In South India, Rukmini and Satyabhama are worshipped alongside Krishna. Rukmini has some prominence in parts of Maharashtra as Ruku/Rakhu Mai as she was the princess of Vidharbha. There is a temple dedicated to Rukmini in Dwarika though they don't get worshipped together for some reason.

Yep that is the most popular theory for Radha.

She never went to Dwarika. Some stories mention their meeting but in Kurukshetra even there I do not remember what the point was. Im guessing Dau brought Nand Yashoda with him.when he came to scold Krishna and Radha tagged along.

But tab bhi Radha had given Ayan ko Dwapar version of divorce and waa independent. Abhi how did Kutila even allow this?

I think I heard somewhere ke Krishna felt guilty/Radha can see him from Vrindavan so theyre not worshipped together. Not sure tho.

Ras Panchadhyay but there her name is not given.

Jaydev popularized her. Chaitanyadev was called joint avtar of RK. So she was very popular back then.

I can never wrap my head around the fact that Vyas kinda skipped her. I think all these romantic theories came from those saints and that lovestory clicked with then audience whose primary source of entertainment was works of fantasy and fiction as reality wasn't pleasant often.

No author has been idenfied for this. East India mein originated thats it. Also it is not a purana but an upa-purana. It has less importance than say Shiva purana pr Skanda Purana.

There is also a theory mentioned by Bankim Chanda I guess that the Krishna of Gokula and Mathura, and the Krishna of Dwarika are two different people. So...

No wonder his yadava dynasty was gigantic. He himself had so many useless children and didn't give any sanskaars to them. 😆His son Shamba must have been a headache to him all the while. Also two or three of his wives were his cross cousins right ? Mitravinda, Lakshmana and Bhadra i guess.

They laid the foundation based on this scripture and built their own fictional edifice. 🤢
