Produced by Sphere Origins, this fantasy story about a prince entering a Matrix-like place boasts 10-12 minutes of visual effects per episode. In almost every seventh episode, the prince reaches a different level in the virtual world and takes on digital characters for a fight. The virtual world has been created by Tata Exlsi that has ventured into television for the first time. Very few portions of the show are live shots. "It is definitely a high-end show with a lot of special effects. I believe the show will set high standards in television history since we are the first ever ones to shoot in HD technology. You incur high costs but then television is a visual medium. However, money needs to be spent smartly," says Sunjoy Wadhwa of Sphere Origins.

Dummy shooting for foreign tourists!



Recently the unit of Raajkumar Aaryyan, a show on NDTV Imagine, was
shooting in Rajasthan with more than 150 people.

The action sequences involved camels and horses as well. And guess who
gathered in large numbers. Foreign tourists!

They were excited to see the shooting of this expensive costume drama.
But naturally there was a lot of disturbance and it wasn't possible to
continue the shoot with so many people around and so much of noise.

It would also be rude to ask the tourists to leave. So producer Sunjoy
Wadhwa and director Parthhoe Mithraa came up with an idea.

They told all the tourists that the shooting was shifting to another
location nearby. People started leaving and many of them went to the new
location.

And yes they did get to see the shooting. Just that what they got to watch
was not real, but some dummy shooting that was arranged specially for
them. The actual shots were taken at the first place itself! That was some
smart thinking we must say.
