Kasauli - Farooqui Mansion:

Zoya groaned and turned over as a pillow came flying and hit her in the face.

Zeenat- DUPAIHAR hone ko aa rahee hai Zoya, UTH JAO! Kaunsi ladki dupaihar ke baara baje tak soi pari rehti hai (Zoya raised her head from the bed where she was currently sprawled upside down with her head buried in a pillow) Zoya uthke apna samaan sametna shuru karo. Packing kab karogi tum? 10 dinon mein shaadi aur moving aur tum soi pari ho. Allah iss ladki ka kya hoga?

Ayaan-(whistled loudly as he breezed into the room) Exactly Aapi kya HOGA Iss ladki ka. Kyunki baaki ladkiyan jo 12 baje se pehle uthti hain woh to dunya bachane mein lag jaati haina aur dunya ka bachna na bachna Zoya ke sone ya uthne pe depend karta hai (Zeenat narrowed her eyes at him as he fell onto the bed beside Zoya)

Zeenat- Aur kisiki dunya bache na bache meri bikhar jayegi agar yeh madam na uthin toh.

Ayaan- Par kyun Aapi? Aapko shopping ke liye jaana hai to main le chal raha hoon na lena kya hai aapko? 5 shaadi ke jore? Aapki hone wali saas ne yehi instructions diye the na credit card ke saath? Functions ke outfit unke showroom se lene hain aur unhe hamari taraf se apke aur Zoya ke ilaava kuch nahin chahiye. Jab woh sab sambhaal rahee hain to AAP kyun pareshan hain?

Zoya- (mumbled sleepily) samjha karo na Ayaan. Raat ko 2 baje saiyan ji ghar chorke gaye hai .unki boring si baaton ka hangover nahin utra hai.

Ayaan-(wolf whistled) Oh ho! Jeeju ke saath pehli date. KAISI rahee (Zeenat just blushed prettily and turned her attention back to Zoya's suitcases where she was busy folding some clothes that were strewn about and zipping them up)

Zoya- (mumbled) Thank god I didn't bother unpacking.

Ayaan- Seriously Aapi? Aap aajke din bhi iss churail ko pamper kar rahee ho jabke kamazkam aajke din to aapko khudko pamper karna chahiye. Honestly Aapi aap hone wali dulhan kam aur kaam karne waali bai zyaada lagti ho. Aapko dekhne ladke waale aa rahe hain aur aap..

Zeenat- ZOYA GET UP!!

Zoya-(whined) Aapi Aapko aaj romantic gaane gaane chahiye aur aap aaj bhi 'Zoya' 'Zoya' ki rat lagaye huye ho. Jeeju iska ghalat matlab nikal sakte hain.

Ayaan- Exactly aapko gaana chahiye (Jumped off the bed startling zeenat as zoya finally opened one of her eyes watching them) Gali mein aaj chand nikla..(He began twirling her round and round and she giggled uncontrollably..as Zoya watched her lovingly. An overwhelming feeling settling over her stomach as she saw her laugh so genuinely and so carefree after so long)

Zoya- (jumped out of bed) Ya Phir (began dancing around zeenat) Laya baraat bhi laya..taare bhi saath mein laya..ghungat uthane aaya woh..mera piya ghar aaya Oh Ramji (Ayaan joining her) Mera Piya Ghar Aaya oh ramji..

Zeenat-(laughed) tum dono ka kuch nahin ho sakta (she laughed as Zoya fell onto the bed dizzily, grabbing a half eaten box of Pringles from her night stand and begin filling her unwashed mouth with some 'breakfast')

Zeenat- Zoya you have 5 minutes. Get up and wash your face, get dressed, have some (ripped the box of Pringles out of her hands as she stared back at Zeenat with round confused eyes but zeenat remained undeterred grimacing as the crums from Zoya's overstuffed mouth began falling on the ground) breakfast and then meet me in my room. Woh log kissi bhi wakt aate honge, we need to be ready uske baad shopping jaana ha. Kya pata humme kal hi shaadi ke liye unke farmhouse pe jaana par jaye so pack your stuff do you hear me? (Zoya just nodded a little lost and a little confused barely grasping what Zeenat had said. As zeenat left the room Zoya grabbed her iPad and fell back onto the bed only to jerk back up horrified screaming in fear as Zeenats livid face screaming 'Zoya' and ripping the ipad out of her hands was back in her face and Zoya rushed to the bathroom muttering to herself)

Zoya- Bewa Aapi was much more sane. Dulhan Aapi is freaky! (slapped her head) OwwQ (rubbing it again) Kisne bola tha yeh shaadi waali musibat mein parne ko.

Meanwhile in another room down the hall:

Aahil- WHAT! Ammi aapne mera rishta paka kar diya aur mujhse poocha tak nahin?? KISSE?? KYUN? KAB? Kaise?

Haseena- Le, yeh bhala kaisi baat hui? Ek na ek din to mujhe karna hi tha. Pehle tere bhai ka bhi to kiya haina (Aahil rolled his eyes as Arsalan stared at him like sure let her dream) Tujhe kya lagta hai maine yeh faisla tum pe chorna tha. Naa ji naa. Tu apni pasand ki kar pata toh yakeenan yeh jo 18 saal pehle Faizan miyan hamare gale musibat le aye the unhi ke jaisi dhoond leta. Na koi khandaan ka pata na khoon ka. Pata nahin kaise maan baap ki betiyan hongi, kiska ganda khoon hamare gale daal gaya woh..

Aahil- Ammi.

Haseena- Sahee keh rahee hoon main. Tujhe tere bharose chor diya toh yeh toh apni koi teesri behen nikal leingi kahin se aur usse bhi yahan muft ki rotiyan khane bhej deingi. Arre bauhat achi tarha se jaanti hoon main aise logon ko..maine jab keh diya ke meri dono bahuein meri pasand ki hongi to bas meri pasand ki hongi aur mujhe yeh (threw a half smile in sapnas direction) pasand hai.

Aahil- Par..

Sapna- Aahil, don't worry beta. Trust me jo ladki tumhari Ammi ne chuni hai woh ek heera hai heera beta. A true angel. Uss jaisi ladki tumhe poore India mein to kya dunya mein nanin milegi. Woh mere chote bhai ki beti hai and just like me she too is a princess (and she smiled wide as Aahil rolled his eyes as if yes he should marry her because her princess title is what would make her interesting, them compatible and make this marriage work?)

Aahil- What's her education?

Haseena- (uninterested) Haan parhi lekhi hai.

Aahil- KITNA?

Sapna- Beta, she was studying medicine..2nd year but unfortunately she suffered a near fatal car crash. Allah ka lakh lakh shukar hai uski jaan bach gayee..par..

Aahil- Par?

Sapna- Uski ek taang (shook her head) the nerves are damaged. Kaafi saalon, kaafi mehnat aur himmat surgeries ke baad woh weelchair se to uth gayee par uski taang ab bhi haraab hai. Kaafi der ke liye woh toh zindagi se umeed hi chor baithi thi. Ussi dauran usne college aur parhai bhi chor di aur waise bhi usko har minute kissi ke sahare ki zaroorat parti..woh kaun deta? Nurse ya helper rakh dete to woh embarrassment kaun sehta society mein? (Arsalan and Aahil stared at her incredulously while Haseena nodded in agreement) and to this day she hasn't gone back. Par uska woh passion aaj bhi utna hi hai. She's volunteering at the hospital these days and who knows maybe one day she can go back and fix it all and maybe you can help her (she smiled and Aahil finally smiled in return feeling much better about the bomb his mother had dropped this morning. He felt a strange pull towards the girl now. He felt sad for her, respect and admiration. He wanted to know her. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad and maybe he could spin this in his own favour and he eagerly looked up at his mom)

Aahil- Fine, main chaloonga. Par meri ek shart hai.

Haseena-(smiled) Nayee garee chahiye daadi se?

Aahil-(smiled back) nahin, woh aapko chahiye. Ammi dekhiye, daadi ne aaj keh diya ke Aapi ka jab rishta aayega to unke ilaava wahan koi maujood nahin hoga, ke koi wahan aa nahin sakta baith nahin sakta aur hum sab chup rahe, kuch nahin bole..Aapi ki khatir. Par Ammi, agar maine yeh rishte ke liye haan kiya toh shaadi pe chahe KUCH ho jaye hum zaroor jayenge. Tab main na daadi ki sunoonga aur naa aapki..

Haseena-(rolled her eyes) tujhe jaana hai to jaa. Main toh nahin jaa rahee aisi fazool shaadi mein. Pata nahin kya ghol ke pilaya hai uss churail ne iss ghar ko mere masoom ladkon ko ke uske aage peeche dolte rehte hain mere shehzaade (rolled her eyes as she turned towards him again) par phir meri bhi ek shart hai aaj rishta dekhte hi hum pakka kardeinge aur sagai ki tareekh bhi pakki karke ayenge. SAMJHE. (Aahil and Arsalan looked at their mother with their jaw dropping at her insane decisions)

Haveli:

Haseena eyed the 5 of them suspiciously as they took turns nudging each other awake as soon as one of them was about to doze off.

Haseena- (fake laughed) bache lagta hai Kasauli ko kaafi enjoy kar rahe hain. Lagta hai raat bhar so nahin paye..kyun bacho? (The parent's all gave them stern looks and immediately they straightened up looking so alert and serious one would think someone had died) ab sach to yeh hai ke yeh aapka Delhi thori hai, yahan kaunsi night life hai enjoy karne waali raat ke 10 bajje ke baad yahan kaunsi jaga khuli rehti hai..

Azlan- Haseena aunty woh aap logon ke bhanje hi haina. I mean phupi ke bete kya naam hai..haan Ayaan..jo yahan ka eklota nightclub chalata hai? Aur, woh to khulta hi koi 10 bajje hai..toh I'm sure aap log humme zyaada bata saktein honge yahan ki nightlife ke baare mein..

Aahil- I thought you went to college here? I mean back in the days the only thing that would come up when speaking about entertainment in Kasauli is your name. Then how do you not know about Kasauli's nightlife? As far as I know you petitioned for night time entertainment here.

Maya- Waise mumbai mein to kaafi enjoy karte hoge aap Aahil beta. I mean wahan ki life in general not just night life yahan se zyaada advanced hai phir aap Kasauli kyun waapis aana chahte ho? I'm sure someone as young as you would really enjoy living there. Toh phir yahan kyun. Don't get me wrong main sirf iss liye jaana chahtin hoon kyunki main hi jaanti hoon ke in sabko kaise force kiya maine waapis aane ko

Aahil- (smiled) Same reason you guys moved back for aunty. Kasauli..is home. Dunya kitni bhi advanced ho jaye, jo sukoon yahan rakha hai woh dunya ke kissi shehr mein nahin hai. Yahan ki hawa mein kuch jaado hai. I..I can't live away from Kasauli no matter how hard I try and also meri family yahan hai. Mumbai is great and all but I get very lonely there. Yahan Ammi Abbu, daadi, mere bhai meri behen (Haseena glared at him and sapna stared at them nervously)

Naina- Aapki behen bhi hai jeeju? Sapna phupi to sirf aapke bhaiyon ki baat karti hain. Ayaan..and Arsalan..and I think theres 2 more but behnein..kitni behnein hain aapki?

Aahil- Uh, meri..I mean hamari (avoided eye contact with Haseena) ek hi behen hai..she's beautiful..(smiled) we all lo-

Haseena- Par woh hamare saath nahin rehti (an awkward silence fell over the room) mera..mera matlab hai ke woh New york mein rehti hai..wahan parti hai.

Ghaffur- Akeli?

Sapna- Aap log bhi kya baatein lekar baithge hain. Naina Kajol jao na Anaya ko le ao rasmein aage barhate hain.

Maya- Haan beta, jao jaldi le ao.

Farooqui Mansion:

Asif came bounding down the steps of the house and nearly lost his balance as he noticed Zoya sitting on the steps by herself. He stared at her confused and silently went and joined her poking her side and making her jump in response to which he laughed heartily.

Zoya- Not cool bhai.

Asif- I wouldn't believe that coming from someone who believes sitting by themself out here on the steps is cool.

Zoya- (smiled as bright as she could) Main toh weather enjoy kar rahee thee. Dekho na kitna pyaara din hai aur upar se packing kar karke mera dimaagh haraab ho raha tha..so..(shrugged)

Asif- (stared at her silently for a while hoping she'd get the clue and tell him the truth but Zoya avoided eye contact with him. Eventually he sighed and and slapped her head) Zoya..

Zoya-(glared at him annoyingly and slapped his head in return) Bhai..

Asif-(put an arm around her hugging her close) do you remember, when I failed math in the 8th grade..aur Ammi ne meri kaisi halat ki thi..

Zoya-(laughed grinning wide and nodding her head excitedly to his annoyance) It was such a fun day. I still remember it and laugh sometimes. Woh kya dialogue tha unka 'Haye rabba meinu chuklai..aisi ulaad mujhe hi kyun milni thi..kahin mun dekhane laik nahin chora. AB KYA HOGA RABBA' (she burst out laughing again)

Asif- Exactly,tumhe yeh sab iss liye pata hai kyunki tum hamesha ki tarha darwaze ke bahar kaan laga kar sun rahee thee (narrowed his eyes at her) because your a brat like that

Zoya- PLEASE BHAIYA. Agar main kaan laga kar na sun rahee hoti to chachi ke thapron se aap ko kaun bachata? Woh main hi thi jisne cockroach se darne ka bahana karke poore ghar ko jagaya aur aap ko bachaya

Asif-(laughed as he smiled fondly at the memory) exactly. You demanded I take you out for ice cream and only then would you stop your crocodile tears and Faizan chachu began screaming at me to take you.

Zoya- (her smile dimmed a bit as he reminded her of Faizan) par aap aaj yeh sab. OMG AAP PHIR MATH MEIN FAIL HO GAYE (Asif rolled his eyes)

Asif- I graduated from college 5 years ago Zoya.

Zoya- Oh right, toh phir kya point?

Asif- The point is Zoya Farooqui that you haven't been able to stop yourself from eavesdropping on others, mingling in others affairs and forcefully getting involved in problems that don't concern you since you were 5. And today you expect me to believe that andar Aapi ka rishta aaya hai aur tum yahan baithke weather enjoy kar rahee ho? (Raised an eyebrow) I suck at math Zoya not common sense. Now come on and tell me the real reason why you're not going in there. Daadi ne hum sabko manna kiya hai..tumhe nahin.

Zoya-(laughed bitterly) Issiliye nahin jaa rahee..

Asif- Matlab?

Zoya- Matlab aap log daadi ko jo marzi kahein unki mere baarein mein baatein jitni karwin hain..utni sach bhi hain. Woh hi jaanti hain ke mere kadam kitne manhoos hain (Asif stared at her incredulously) main andhar baithti to shayad baat apne aap bighad jaati aur yeh shaadi na ho paati..

Asif- (grabbed his head in both his hands) My god. Ayaan was right you really are stupid. Tell me, New Yokrk mein tum par bhi rahee thee ya Aapi ke saath jhak mar rahee thee aur saara wakt Ayaan ki tarha parties aur daroo mein hi (stared at her angrily) kyunki tumne abhi jo kaha hai usse kahin se nahin lag raha ke tum thori bauhat bhi parhi likhi ho. Zoya TUM aisi baatein kar rahee ho, TUM aisa sochti ho toh tum mein aur un mein fark kya baaki hai?

Zoya- Itna ghalat bhi nahin kehte hain woh? Aap khud hi socho iss ghar mein, Aapi jeeju ki life mein KITNA kuch ghalat hua hai..agar main na hoti toh

Asif- Agar tum na hoti to? Zoya, do you even hear yourself? Agar tum na hoti toh yeh conversation bhi na ho rahee hoti. Aapi aur jeeju ki sabse bari khushi pata kya thi, TUM. You completed them Zoya. The love they both shared for you is what brought them so close that they married at the age of 18. You completed their family Zoya, you completed them. Maine aaj tak unn dono jaisa happy couple nahin dekha despite everything that happened in their life and you know why? Because of you. You made them happy. You make us happy. You made this home SO much better ever since you wobbled in and fell on your fat behind (Zoya laughed) Zoya unn donon ke saath jo hua woh toh ho ke hi rehta. With or without you unlo kismat mein likha tha. But you made it worthwhile. They stayed together and fought through the challenges not just for themselves but for you as well. You were their strength. Ab tum khud hi yaad karo jab Aapi ka pehla miscarriage hua tha woh kitni depressed thin, kitni buri halat thi unki aur unki wajah se chachu ki. Sab ko lag raha tha ke unki shaadi shayad na bache but they fought through it for you. Shayad agar tum unki zindagi mein na hoti toh they would have fallen apart then. Phir ab socho Aapi ka. Chachu ke baad woh tumhare sahare, tumhare liye zinda rahin Zoya. Tum jaanti ho chachu ki maut unke liye KITNI mushkil thin. Hum sab jaante hain ke agar tum unki zimedari na hotin toh woh shayad uss shock se kabhi recover na kar patin. Aur ab zoya? Ab unki dobara shaadi ho rahee hai toh bhi tumhari wajah se. Woh saari umar daadi ke darr se yahan bewa ki zindagi guzar letin Zoya par kabhi apni dilki sunke dobara shaadi na kartin if it wasn't for you convincing her. (Shook his head) your one of the most positive upbeat people I know Zoya..toh phir TUM aisa kaise? (sighed) I'm actually disappointed (Zoya bit her lip as she turned to look at him. She hated having her brothers mad at her)

Zoya- Sorry bhai. I guess woh bas daadi aur chachi ki baatein itni buri lagin ke..ke mujhe bhi doubt hone laga. Main bhi insaan hoon, self doubt and insecurities are a real thing bhaiand I guess itna emotional drama chal raha tha pichle kuch din ke main bhi..I guess I just, I don't even know what I was thinking..I'm sorry bhai. I didn't mean to offend you..

Asif- Ya you damn right better be sorry. Otherwise Mumbai se joote marne aa jaonga yahan taake tumhare choti se akal thikane aye..Samjhi.

Zoya-(smiled as she hugged him) I'll miss you bhai.

Asif-(smiled sadly as he hugged her back) I'll miss you too pari.

Azlan and Anaya exchanged shy smiles as they made eye contact discreetly or at least they thought they were being discreet but the kids were all noticing..

Ghaffur - Toh matlab hum baat pakki samjhein? Iss mahine ke end pe jo last sunday hai..engagement ke liye kaisa rahega?

Haseena- Ji, bilkul sahee hai. Actually inn bachon ka yeh chutiyon mein bahar jaane ka plan hai to inke lautne ke baad engagement kar deinge. Chutiyon ke baad Aahil ko nayee job shuru karni hai issi bahane yeh bhi patah chal jayega ke Bahu raani ke kadam hamare ghar ke liye kitne mubarak hain..

Maya-(ignoring her last jab) par agar yeh chutiyon pe jaa raha hai to tayaari kab-

Haseena- Arre (laughed) isse kya tayaari karni hai. Tayaari to humme karni hai hum karleinge isse bas ek suit hi to lena hai.

Maya- Aur rings kab leinge dono?

Haseena- Arre woh to hamare paas already- (the entire Khan family turned and stared at her)

Sapna- Nahin, bhabi ka matlab hamare khandaan mein Daadi ne already sabke hisse mein jewelry baanti hai. Unki tabiyat haraab thi to woh nahin aa payeen par woh hoti to aapko batati ke kitne armaanon se unhone sab jewelry bana rakhi hai..handaani riwaj hai to-

Ghaffur- Agar khandaani riwaj hai toh hum zaroor maaneinge. Par yeh doosri baar hai Haseena bi ke apki saas hamare ghar tashreef nahin lain iss rishte ke liye. Sab khairiyat hai na, woh iss rishte ko leke raazi to hain?

Sapna- Ghaffur bhai aap bhi-

Ghaffur- humne savaal Haseena bi se kiya hai Sapna..tumse nahin..(Sapna burned in anger but didn't say anything while Haseena smirked)

Haseena- Ji, Ji woh bauhat khush hain aur yahan hona bhi chahtin thin par aakhri minute par unki tabiyat haraab ho gayee..kismat dhoka de gayee (Ahil and Arsalan both shook their heads)

Salma- To Matlab 4 hafte baad..sagayee pakki? Aur sagayee waale din hi hum Shaadi ki date fix kardeinge tum dono ko koi aitraaz to nahin hai beta

Razia- Anaya ko to koi aitraaz nahin hoga..

Salma- (Gave her a stern look, staring her down as she spoke to Anaya) Tumhe koi Aetraaz hai beta? (Anaya shyly shook her head)

Shireen- Dekha Ammi (Kissed her head) Maine kaha tha usse koi aetraaz nahin hoga..

Salma- aur aap Aahil beta..aapko aetraaz hai (Aahil just stared at Anaya and smiled as he saw her avoid eye contact with him out of shyness)

Aahil- Nahin, koi aetraaz nahin hai.

Azlan-(Patted his shoulder) On that note, welcome to the family Jeeju (Aahil smiled as he stood up and hugged him before moving forward and taking everyone's blessings)

Salman- Bhai koi hamara bhi to mun meetha karao (both families got busy in congratulating each other and feeding each other sweets)

Dilshad exchanged both nervous and highly irritated expressions with Anwar and Zeenat over the bizarre behaviour of Tahir and Shazia who showed no interest in the Rishta and instead was more interested in her hukka.

Dilshad- Dekhiye, hum yahan shaadi ki baat karne aye the..toh behtar hoga agar aap baaki sabko bhi bula-

Shazia- Baat to hummise hogi. Iss ghar ke faisle hum karte hain, bache nahin aur waise bhi sab log bahar gaye hain. Ghar pe koi nahin hai..

Dilshad- Par aap log jaante the hum aaj rishta laane waale hain phir bhi-

Shazia- Haan to issi liye hum ghar par rahe. Aapko humse kaam hai, hum haazir hain, ab boliye..kya chahte hai aap log.

Dilshad-(baffled) Woh toh I'm sure aap samajh gayee hongi. Hum Zeenat ka haath maangne aye hain. Dono bache ek doosre ko pasand karte hain aur shaadi karna chahte hain. Unki 10 din ki chutiyan baaki hain jiske baad unhe waapis Delhi jaana hai nayee term ke liye toh woh chahte hain aur hum bhi infact ke hum apni bahu ko apne ghar jald se jald le jayen. Iss liye hum yahan aapki haan sune aye hain aur shaadi ke mamlat teh karne.

Shazia- 10 din mein shaadi ki tayari kar sakte hain aap log?

Dilshad- Ji waise to main chahti thi ke mere bete ki shaadi itni dhoom dhaam se ho ke poora shehr dekhe..par..(smiled at Anwar) phir bhi..kaam mushkil hai par na mumkin nahin. Inn 10 dinon mein bhi main bauhat hi bari aur dhoom dhaam waali shaadi arrange kar sakti hoon..

Shazia- Aap? To iske Father..aapke husbad kahan hain? (Dilshad's face fell and Anwards hardened. They had conveniently forgotten or hadn't expected the question to come up even though it was a valid question)

Dilshad- Ji, hum ab saath nahin hain. Kaafi saal pehle hamara divorce- (they could see the judgement in Shazia's eyes)

Shazia- Aap apni khudki shaadi nibha nahin sakin par apne bete ki shaadi karwana chahtin hain (shook her head as she straightened up) khair aapki shaadi, aapka betaaur ab aapki bahu. Aapki family aapko mubarak ho. Batayee humse kya chahtin hain aap.

Dilshad-(reassured zeenat through her eyes who looked like she was about to begin hyperventilating) aapki zeenat ke ilaava humme kuch nahin chahiye. hum yeh soch rahe the ke darasal shehr se thora door hamara farmhouse hai, kaafi bara shaadi ke liye bauhat sahee rahega wahaan paas mein mere bete ka khudka hotel bhi hai jahaan mehmaan teher sakte hain..

Shazia- Nahin, na. (shook her head) hamari taraf se koi mehmaan nahin honge..sirf hamare ghar ke log. Main mere shauhr. Mera chota beta aur bahu aur bas bache bas (Zeenat's face fell and she looked to the ground blinking repeatedly to stop her tears from falling and Anwar gripped his chair tighter to control his mounting anger)

Dilshad- (smiled even brighter) Aap kaafi haina ladki waalon ki tarafse mehmaan banke aane ke liye. Aap bas kal shaadi ke functions ke liye apne kapre leke farmhouse Pauhanch jayee baaki hum dekh leinge. Azlan and Zain along with the elders came to escort the Farooqui's out of their house and to their cars as they were leaving.

I mean chachu log khush nahin hain but I think the guys done a fabulous job with the place. It's amazing you should all come (Zain snickered seeing Razia and Shireen give him fake polite smiles even though they looked positively disgusted with the idea) but chutiyon mein hum shehr se bahar jaa rahe hain for a wedding..(saw his mother glaring at him) a friends wedding (They all nodded)

Haseena- To phir baat hoti hai.

(Maya rolled her eyes as did Azlan and Zain and they winked at Aahil reassuring him that they would do something for him. Haseena settled in her car and the driver of the car turned back to look at her with a confused and horrified expression)

Driver- Baji..aapne inke ghar rishta pakka kiya Aahil ka?

Haseena- Feroz..tera dimaagh teek hai? (Feroz turned around and pulled out of the driveway) Inke ghar kya matlab? Nawabon ke haan apne bete ki shaadi karwa rahee hoon bhala isse bari baat..isse bare log aur kahan mileinge bata?

Feroz- Woh sab to theek hai baji par yeh ladka..yeh kaale coat waala.

Haseena- Azlan? Tu isse nahin pehchanta Feroz? Yahan ka shehzada hai shehzada. Issi ki behn ka to rishta liya hai maine..

Feroz- Kya pata ghar waalon ko pata na ho? Maine bataya na wakeel aaya tha zamanat karwane

Haseena- Haan par wakeel inhi ke liye kaam karta haina. Unhone jail se phone kiya, wakeel ko bulaya toh kya ghar waalon ko pata nahin hoga? Zamanat ke baare mein kissi na kissi ko toh pata hai. Asif and Zoya were still sitting on the steps now eating ice creams and laughing over some video on Zoya's ipad as Dilshad, Anwar, Zeenat and Aisha came out of the house from behind them.

Anwar- Hey there saali saheba. Aap to humme milne hi nahin ayeen (Zoya turned around and smiled bright upon seeing them as Zeenat stared at her with a worried and questioning look)

Zoya- Hey Jeeju! Salamulaikum phupi (She hugged Dilshad tight as Dilshad smiled bright and kissed her head. She then smiled at Aisha who gave her a nervous smile in return and then hugged Anwar who draped his arm around her shoulder) woh bas hum ice cream lene gaye aur traffic mein phas gaye. Waapis aye to aap logon ko disturb nahin karna chahte the..waise bhi DD pehle hi ghusse mein lag rahee theen (Zeenat glared at her)

Anwar- DD?

Zoya- Dayan Daadi (Anwar, Dilshad and Aisha laughed)

Dilshad- Please kalko mera bhi koi aisa waisa naam na rakh dena.

Zoya- Arre kaise rakh paongi phupi. Aap itniii pyaari itniii sweet ho..aapka naam kaise daalongi main.

Asif- Koi bharosa bhi nahin hai iska. Aaj sweet bol rahee hai..kalko mirchi boldegi. Hum panchon saath bhi aisa hi karti thi. Jo aaaj pizza le aaya..aap itne sweet ho..mere sabse favourite bhai. Kalko ice cream nahin laake di..I hate you, ab Aahil's my favourite bhai (they all laughed as she pouted at him) Salamulaikum aunty main asif, Aapi ka devar hi samah lijiye

Dilshad- Walaikum salaam beta kaise ho (Asif nodded)

Zoya- Aapke woh doosre bete aaj bhi nahin aye phupi? Kyun woh iss shaadi se khush nahin hain ya itne badsoorat hainke ghar se bahar nahin aate..

Zeenat- ZOYA (Zoya bit her lip realizing what she had said)

Anwar-(laughed) I'd love to see you say that to Asad's face.

Dilshad- Nahin beta woh bas kaam mein busy hai (Zoya nodded) par tum chalo. Hum log zeenat aur Anwar ko shaadi ke kapre lene chal rahe hain tum bhi chalo na (Zeenat smiled bright and thankfully at Dilshad)

Zoya-(her smile faltered) nahin phupi aap log jao. Main..main ghar pe hi theek hoon. Itni packing karni hai, itna kaam hai. Kal farmhouse jaana hai. Aur waise bhi mujhe abhi tayaar hone mein bhi time lagega (they all stared at her questioningly. She looked perfectly dressed up in her denim overalls, sneakers and crop top why couldnt she come in that?)

Zeenat- Aao na Zoya. Mujhe tumhari help chahiye hogi kapre decide karne ke liye..

Zoya- Aapi, aapko pata hai yeh desi kapron mein mujhe kuch samajh nahin aata. Mujhe sirf jeans aur t-shirts samajh aati hain aur (smiled wide to overcompensate so Zeenat would argue) aapke saath phupi hain, ai..Aisha hai..ab aapko meri zaroorat kyun paregi.

Zeenat- Zoya par-..(Asif sensing that Zoya didn't want to go for whatever reasons decided to interfere)

Asif- Actually Aapi, Zoya jhoot bhol rahee hai. Woh bas hum aapko bolna nahin chahte the..actually hum logon ke plans the bahar jaane ke, for dinner and desert. Aunty aap log humse hamari behnein chura le jaa rahe ho. Ek ko officially chura liya hai aur doosri ko 10 dinon mein chura le jaoge. Isse pehle ke woh jaye we just wanted to spend some time with her uske baad toh woh waise hi aapki ho jayegi (put an arm around Zoya) toh aap apni bahu ko shopping karne le jayee aur hum one last party karne jayenge aaj. Haina Zo (Zoya looked baffled for a second but then quickly put on a bright smile to convince Zeenat who still stared at them doubtfully)

Zeenat- Aur tum logon ke kapre, tum log kya pehnonge?

Asif- Oh come on Aapi. Kal farmhouse jaana hai aaj nahin..humme kal maximum ek ghanta lagega and well have our outfits..

Zoya- Aur mere bhi aap hamesha ki tarha apni marzi ke le aana.

Zeenat- Nahin tum mere saath chalo-

Dilshad- Zeenat, I'm sure even Zoya kabab mein haddi nahin banna chahti. Tum Anwar ke saath jao, rings choose karo hum donon tum logon ko mall pe milte hain. Inhe tum party karne do (Zoya smiled gratefully at Dilshad as they all walked off to their cars and Zoya and Asif waved them off)

Asif- Ab yeh kya kiya?

Zoya- I just want Aapi to enjoy these moments like every girl does. Time with her husband and in-laws doing her wedding shopping. I just didn't want to be a third wheel. She deserves one day to herself at least. One day where she doesn't have to mother a 21 year old and can sit back and enjoy (shrugged as Asif just stared at her and then ruffled her hair as she huffed in annoyance)

Asif- I get whiplash talking to you, you know that. One second your singing the alphabet song to get it right and the next your finding the cure to cancer and ending child poverty (Zoya laughed along with him as they made their way inside) oh and don't expect us to take you out for an actual dinner bhukar..woh to maine aise hi bahana banaya tha.

Zoya- Oh really? (Asif nodded as Zoya jumped on his back and began choking him while Asif screamed in annoyance trying to get her to get off)

The entire family was gathered around in the backyard for evening tea excitedly discussing the alliance and the upcoming engagement and functions. Shireen had already pulled out magazines and was proposing dress ideas to a shy Anaya..

Zain- Waise I think we should also plan a destination wedding (Kajol's head which was buried in a bridal magazine shot up as he said that but he continued looking straight ahead not looking at her) you know rent a farmhouse out of town, get all the guests to stay there and have a big fat indian wedding with all the ceremonies and all the functions and- (Maya stopped massaging his forehead and patted his shoulder making him turn towards her as she gave him a cheeky smile)

Maya- Dulhan woh nahin (pointing to Kajol who blushed prettily as did Zain) woh hai (pointing to Anaya as she laughed)

Zain- Who, Woh bari Maan mera bhi to wohee matlab tha..agar Anaya Aapi chahein toh..

Ghaffur- Baat sirf Anaya ke chahne ki nahin hai Zain. Haseena bi ladke waale hain aise faisle wohee kareinge. Hum ladki waale hain..humme har baat ka lihaaz karna hoga. Hamare sar itne upar nahin ho sakte. Woh jo kaheinge humme suna hoga. waise bhi yeh rishta qubool karke unhone humpe ek ehsaan kiya hai. Humme unhe shikayat ka koi mauka nahin dena chahiye (Anaya's smile vanished as Kajol and Naina began comforting her and the khan's around ghaffur got mad especially Azlan who had just come out and was on his phone)

Azlan- Yah, Fine..I'll see you there. (Shut the phone and stared at Anaya who was trying her hardest to smile again as Naina and Kajol tried cheering her up to make her feel better)

Kajol- Waise jeeeju hain bauhat dashing. Kitni pyaari smile hai unki, kitne charming haina. Dr. Aahil Farooqui..naam hi itna pyaara hai..

Naina- Khandaani charm lagta hai. Sapna phupi bol rahee thi na..Ayaan bhi kitna charming hai. Bauhat saari girlfriends hain uski..waise woh bhi jeeju jitna handsome toh hoga hi na? (Azlan who had just walked up and heard her speaking rolled his eyes heavenwards and clenched his fists)

Azlan- Ayaan Ayaan Ayaan. What the hell do all these people see in that LOSER.

Naina- (still continuing) I'm actually confused as to why we've never met Ayaan. He sounds so funny and interesting. Kitna pagal lagta hai na phupi ki baaton se. Phupi should bring him over one day..

Azlan-(taking a seat next to Anaya trying to keep his anger in check) Haan toh jao phupi se request karo na le ayen ek aur paagal ko iss ghar mein (Naina just ignored him and rolled her eyes before walking away as Kajol and Anaya hid their smiles and he stared after her incredulously)

Anaya- Phirse jhagra hogaya?

Azlan- Pagal ke saath kitni der tak insaan reh sakta hai bina khud paagal hue Aapi?

Anaya- Azlan.

Azlan- Aapi uski wajah se hum sab arrest hue Mumbai mein don't start with me. Mujhe uske baare mein nahin aapke baare mein baat karni hai. Aap bata, .aap khush ho na..iss rishte se. I know yeh sab jaldi ho raha hai but (took a deep breath) main iss liye hone de raha hoon because I liked jeeju. He seems like a nice normal guy in strong contrast to his psychotic mother (Anaya slapped him admonishingly) you know its true. And since you seemed to be doing aankhon aankhon mein ishaare to him. I took that as a yes from your side and let them agree to this engagement in one month deal. Par aap bhi mujhe bol do..you are okay with this? You're happy?

Anaya-(took a few seconds to gather her thoughts but then taking a deep breath she looked up and nodded at him confidently) I am (A big smile broke out on Azlan's face) He seems really nice..and..and he doesn't seem to have a problem with..(Hesitated) my leg. He seems to genuinely like me and I don't know every time he smiled at me I felt like the most special..most beautiful girl in the world..and..if that's what I felt in my first meeting with him..I feel like I'll be alright..

Maya- Well bacha party..since kalse yeh log aap logon ki band bajane waale hain engagement aur shaadi ki tayariyon ke saath how about we order some pizza and ice cream, pop in a movie and have a nice quiet relaxing night (the kids all cheered in agreement)

Azlan- I just have to pop out for a quick hour to meet someone though. I'll be back soon.

Zain- Who do you have to meet?

Kajol- Yah who do you even know here?

Azlan- (irritated) Just someone you don't know (Naina eyed him suspiciously while Zain and Kajol backed off at his response)

Kasauli Streets: Zoya took a huge healthy bite from her burger and shoved a handful of fries into her mouth along with the burger bite she was chewing while Asif who wad turned around in the front street turned back laughing loudly earning a smack from her.

Zoya-(still chewing) I'm hungry okay.

Ayaan- Seriously churail if my seats get any mayo or ketchup on them I'm going to cut your hair in your sleep I swear.

Zoya- Don't tempt me Ayaan. I'll do it on purpose. Now leave me alone to finish my food we're almost there (she took another huge bite of her burger and sipped her soda loudly enjoying her meal happily in the back of Ayaan's car where she was sitting comfortably alone, cross legged)

Ayaan-(shook his head) waise what do you think Aahil's news is? Woh dono bhai subah se gaye kahan hain?

Asif- No idea. He refused to say anything and said he'd only tell us when we met him. I think they're already there.

Zoya- Ayaan drive slowly I'm not done yet.

Ayaan- Well hurry up or trust me I'll make you walk the rest of the way.

Zoya- (in between bites) I know your an uncivilized pig Ayaan no need to prove it.

Ayaan- Waise what time do we have to leave for the farmhouse tomorrow?

Asif- I think by noon. So we need to have our shopping done early brother.

Ayaan- (shrugged) and this groom, what's his last name or family name I'm sure I'll know the family. (Asif shrugged) Zo? Earth to Zoya we're asking you something (They both exchanged worried looks and then turned around to see what was up with her and Ayaan slammed the breaks as they both stared at her in shock, their mouths hanging open a little. She sat their cross legged, barefoo .in a fancy grey top with black shorts, beautiful make up and expensive jewelry (bracelets to be precise) and at the same time there were empty food bags all around Zoya, sauce and mayo on and around her lips as she struggled to breath and held her stomach due to all the food she had ate and yet she was still struggling to finish her milkshake. As soon as they were finished taking in the sight they both burst out laughing. They laughed and laughed till tears of mirth came out of their eyes and Zoya kicked both their seats huffing angrily. Ayaan continued driving while simultaneously laughing at her.

10 minutes later when they reached Rogue an angry Zoya now finally wearing her boots stalked out of the car and no one looking at her now could tell she had just finished off a double whopper meal from burger king Zoya style 10 minutes ago. There was no food on her or around her and she was all cleaned up and slaying with her simplicity. Ayaan and Asif however were still laughing holding their stomachs as they walked behind he.

Zoya- URGH! I hate both of you. SHUT UP already. It wasn't even that funny.

Ayaan- You're right..it was tragic. (They burst out laughing again and Zoya glared at them once before storming off into the club)

Khan Mansion:

Asad was inside his room laying on his settee rubbing his head with his eyes closed. A book resting on his chest. Still dressed in his formal clothes as he had just returned from work. His room in dead silence. As Dilshad watched him, standing in the doorway with a mug of coffee for him, her eyes filled with tears and a sad smile appeared on her face in worry for him. She shook her head and plastered a huge bright smile on her face knowing he would freak out otherwise and begin worrying and interrogating her. She proceeded to knock the door. Asad opened his eyes and smiled a small smile at her.

Dilshad- I suppose this is what will help with the headache (Asad smiled gratefully as she handed him the coffee which he nearly snatched from her hands) kya baat hai..tabiyat to theek haina tumhari Asad (felt his neck and forehead as he sat up)

Asad- Ji Ammi. Bas thora kaam zyaada tha..toh.. Upar se aapne aate saal 10 din ki chuti lene ko bol diya..toh yehi halat honi thi na..(Dilshad chuckled)

Dilshad- I know, I kind of sprung that on you..So if you want beta..hum log kal subah Anwar ke saath chale jayenge..tum shaam ko aa jaana kaam sab sametne ke baad. I'm sure you have things to take care of.

Asad- Par Ammi, 10 din-

Dilshad- Asad. Har waqt kaam kaam kaam..yeh sahee nahin hai. You need a break. Abhi tum itne bemaar the tumne tab bhi chuti nahin li. It's time for a break. Aur main kuch nahin sunne waali, tumhare bhai ki shaadi hai, hum log farmhouse jaeyenge aur agle 10 din BAUHAT enjoy kareinge, samjhe tum. Ab chalo utho tayaar ho jao. Anwar celebrate karne ke liye humme dinner karne le jaana chahta hai. Keh raha hai phir hamari family bar jayeege and he wants to have one last outing as just the 4 of us (She saw that Asad was about to protest so she cut in before he could) NO excuses Asad. GET DRESSED.

Asad-(grumpy) I am dressed (Dilshad stared at him and then sighed)

Dilshad- Of course you are (shook her head) Asad tum itne boring ho ke main tumhari maturity level se bhi pareshan ho gayee hoon. Main shayad dunya ki pehli maan hongi jo yeh dua karti hai ke khuda please mere bache ko idiot bana de. Idiots ke jaise behave karne ki taakat de use, ulte seedhe kapre pehna ulte seedhe gaane suna aur ulti sheedhi harkatein karna. Kitna sukoon milega mujhe uss din jab yeh tasali millegi mujhe ke tum..tum ek normal 25 saal ke ladke ho (Asad gave her his classic irritated look and she just laughed sighing wishfully) maine to tumhe normal karne ke liye ek farishta maanga tha Allah se par pata nahin unka yeh farishta itna waqt kyun le raha hai. Khair..jaldi bahar aa jao..chale.

Asad- Uh Ammi (Dilshad stopped and turned towards him and saw him struggling to voice whatever was on his mind. He looked uncomfortable) Ammi aap..woh..woh jo ladkiyan matlab hamari family mein..jo yeh do..woh ladkiyan aa rahee hain..matlab..bh-..bhabi aur..unki woh behen aap unke baare mein sab jaanti haina. Matlab woh kaise log hain, kaisi ladkiyan hain, woh hamari family mein adjust kar payeingi I mean..I..I mean do you-

Dilshad- Do I trust them? (Asad stared at her surprised. Once again surprised at her ability to guess what he wanted to say without him saying it) Asad (smiled at him as she cupped his face lovingly) I do Asad. I trust them completely. They are both wonderful girls. Sweet, kind and trustworthy. They have a lot of love to offer Asad but life hasn't given them a chance to share that love or receive love like they deserve it. I know you're always scared of letting people close..but Asad sometimes you HAVE to beta..which is what I have always tried to tell you. Ab dekho, ab tumhe dar lag raha hai ke Anwar ki shaadi ho rahee hai aur uski biwi aa rahee hai. Kalko ayesha toh humme chorke aik naye ghar chali jayegi..phir? Agar ek baadal bina barish barsaye chala jaye Asad to iska matlab yeh nahin ke hum baarish ki umeed hi chor dein. Tum dekhna, dheere dheere tum bhi dekh paoge aur jaan paoge ke woh kitni achi hain. Zeenat toh tumhare bhai ke saath delhi chali jayegi bas uski behen yahan hongi aur woh din mein college chali jayegi tumhe pata bhi nahin chalega ke woh yahan hai (HAHA!) have some faith beta. Zoya stared at Aahil with tears in her eyes as he cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

Aahil- don't worry. I'll find a way for you to come to my engagement..just trust me okay. I'm gonna make sure my baby sister is with me on my big day. I..I'll fight with daadi and Ammi, they'll have to let you come.

Zoya- (shook her head) I promised them..I'd-

Aahil- SO WHAT? You'll choose your promise to them and won't come to my engagement? It's my engagement Zoya.

Zoya- Par bhai..main kaise-

Aahil- Woh tab soch leinge, first you promise me that you'll come. (Zoya thought about it for a few seconds and then nodded hesitantly before she smiled brightly back in her element in a few seconds and shrieked loudly jumping up and down much to her brother's amusement and horror)

Zoya- I can't believe you're getting married!!!

Aahil-(laughed) Engaged!!

Zoya- WHATEVER!! OMG THIS IS SOO EXCITING (crashed into his chest hugging him tightly) I'm so happy for you!!

Asif- I'm not. Meri maan ko toh hosh hi nahin hai meri umar nikli jaa rahee hai aur iski maan..shaadi pakki kar ayee..woh bhi shehzaadi se.

Ayaan- I'm thankful mere baap ko khosh nahin hai meri shaadi ki.

Zoya- Umeed bhi nahin hai unhe (Ayaan slapped her head away)

Ayaan- Aur unhe WOH khandaan mila tha..Uss..Uss Azlan ki BEHEN mili thi unhe? Aur Kasauli ki ladkiyan baaki mar gayee hain kya?

Zoya- What's wrong with her..isn't she like a princess?

Ayaan- She is the princess. But she's psychotic.

Aahil- You haven't even met her.

Ayaan- Stop defending your to be wife. I've met her brother and he's a total nut job. She grew up with him. I'm ready to bet my club she's just as crazy if not more. NO WAIT I DON'T MEAN THAT-

Arsalan- She has enough cousins and sisters for all of us to pick from Asif..if you're getting old and lonely.

Asif- I am. Not ashamed to admit it. (Zoya spun his barstool around)

Zoya- Itni pyaari ladkiyan hain aur aap yahaan baithe inn 3 bandaron se baatein kar rahe ho. Do the math. Aap hi ki fault hai agar aap old or lonely ho. Now go, go talk to that pretty girl in the yellow dress. (She pushed him away and then turned to the other three smiling brightly only to find all of them staring at her with raised eyebrows)

Zoya- WOAH WOAH WOAH (pushed him back onto the stool and glared at him with her hands on her hips) Main bauhat jealous type ladki hoon mister. Tum panchon ki behen hone ka haq sirf mujhe hai samjhe aur SIRF mujhe bighadna tum logon ka farz hai. Now tell me what the surprise- (just as the music stopped playing and everybody began staring up at the DJ booth the 3 of them plugged their ears)

DJ - Eh..uh..we have a special surprise For Churail..from..Anonymous (Zoya narrowed her eyes at Ayaan, breathing fire, when all of sudden her eyes popped wide and her mouth went round in shock. Dhol Wala's. Like actual punjabi dhol walas in the club!! She turned to Ayaan with a disbelieving look on her face and he grinned widely as they began playing classic punjabi dhol and everyone began laughing and dancing.)

Ayaan - Well what're we waiting for? Let's show em how its done sis. (Zoya laughed loudly as he grabbed her hand and began tugging her to the middle of the dance floor where the two went absolutely crazy doing bhangra late into the night)

Farooqui Mansion - Driveway:

Haseena lowered the papers Feroz had handed to her.

Haseena- (grinned wickedly) Yeh jo koi bhi hai..mujhe bauhat pasand hai. Unn logon ko apne saamne gutne tekne mein yehi mere kaam ayega. Yeh (shook her head) Tu jaanta nahin hai Feroz..seedha tajori ki chaabi le aaya hai to mere paas. Ab mujhe sirf chabi lagani hai..aur khud ba khud nawabon ki daulat mujhpe barasne lagegi (laughed wickedly as she stared at bail papers for Azlan Khan, Zain Malik, Humeira Azfar and Kajol and Naina Siddiqui)

Meanwhile - Upstairs:

Zoya sat in her dark room which was now spick and span, against the wall. Her suitcases packed and lined up neatly on the wall across from her. Tears running down her cheeks as one after another memory of her life in this house flashed before her eyes. She was unable to believe it was her last day in this house. When Naani had said she had to leave she had wholeheartedly agreed and jumped at the opportunity feeling like she'd do anything to get away from hell but now that she was to leave in the morning she was realizing how hard it would actually be. To leave her house, her family, her brothers, her memories and her jeeju behind.

She smiled through her tears as she remembered him playing hide and seek with her around the whole house. Him teaching her how to swim in the pool in the backyard, her and Ayaan fighting like idiots while he tried to referee, Aapi trying to help her with homework in this very bedroom. The birthday parties, the movie nights, her Jeejus death, the funeral. How was she to leave all that behind and move on to a new home? While she sat in her room reminiscing alone over the days gone by across town the Nawabs celebrated the days to come and the new relations formed through a loud and boisterous family movie night that consisted of a lot of jokes, teasing and laughs as usual and in a small 5 star restaurant in town the Khans too celebrated togetherness and the expanding of their small family through light chit chat and a scrumptious meal. Well all minus Asad who quietly picked around his plate just listening to all of them. None of them aware of the storm called life coming their way that was about to destroy everything in its path.

Kasauli - Children's Joy World:

Azlan took another sip of his coffee, standing as rigidly as one could. Awkward and uncomfortable as he leaned over a small gate. The entire park was in darkness except for the merry go round which was playing soft music as it went round and round but no children could be seen riding on it. The only other person visible in the park was the guy in black jeans and a black cap and hood standing beside Azlan just as rigidly. His back leaning against the gate Azlan was leaning against.

Azlan- (sighed deeply) You didn't have to do this or, or come this late. I would've, I would've understood if you were busy. It's late and you probably have work..tomorrow. She shouldn't have called..I'll talk to her. And you didn't especially have to do all of this (waved around) next time you can just say you're busy. I'll make sure she understands. (The guy in the hood still didn't say anything. Azlan cast one look in his direction and then looked away awkwardly again) and uh, thanks for this morning as well. I, I appreciate it. I know, I know you could have definitely said no to that and (smiled a small sad smile) you probably wanted to. I mean I bet the idea of letting me rot in jail was tempting. You didn't have to get up 5 in the morning and contact your lawyer, but you still did so, I guess..Thanks. I uh..I ow you one. (The guy finally chuckled as he took off his hood and turned to face Azlan crossing his muscular arms across his broad chest. Azlan tossed his coffee cup aside and also turned to face him shoving his hands in his pockets)

Asad- You owe me. Big. And your list is getting longer and longer prince charming. I mean 5 bails. 2 of whom themselves are (smiled mockingly to spite Azlan) police officers. Do you have any idea what kind of cash I dropped to get your ass bailed out without any charges and don't even for a second flatter yourself thinking I did it for you. I would very happily let you and that wanna be Zain malik rot in jail for the rest of your lives. I did it for the girls with you. I thought of their honour something which you lack the decency to do. You two clowns, I got out for the simple pleasure of throwing this day in your faces next time you talk all big and mighty about law and order. Bring it up again in front of me and I'll happily remind you of the day you were on the other side of those bars, got it. And remember, this was the first and last time I bailed you out don't call me next time. Call your daddy. Or get yourself a sugar daddy if daddy dearest won't co-operate. I don't bust my ass working hard so that you can go get drunk in clubs and punch people so that I can go around paying for your bails understand (Azlan was just glaring at him itching to say something but Asad had done a favour on him and he knew it. He himself had given him an upper hand. But he had no one else to call and despite their differences he knew Asad would help him and that is exactly what he hated most about Asad)

Asad- and I wouldn't miss this for the world. Don't forget she's more mine than yours. I was hoping for her to call. I hadn't seen her due to my injury and I wouldn't be able to see her over the next few days either (sighed) going out of town..my brother's getting married.

Azlan-(without thinking or realizing) I'm not-

Asad-(stared at him in shock. His mouth falling open in surprise as Azlan's face drained of colour and he turned away focusing on the merry go round too awkward to look at him again) (whispered) MY brother. (Azlan nodded letting him know he understood as Asad too turned around and leaned against the railing..putting a little distance between them)

Asad- (finally broke the silence between them) Take care of her while I'm gone.

Azlan-(snapping) I will. You don't have to tell me to do that all the time..I'm related to her too you know..she's not just yours (Asad spun around ready to retort when they heard an adorable giggle from the choo choo train as it came by. They both looked over to see an adorable little girl around 3-4 years of age stand up in the first compartment accompanied by Farida Bi. The little girl waved at them as both their gazes softened and smiles graced their faces. Their love and adoration for her shining bright in their eyes)

Little Girl- Papa!! Chachoo!! Pari says Hello!!

Azlan-Asad: (Both laughed waving back) Hello Pari! (They watched her disappear into the distance as the train went to complete a round around the park and they both exchanged a brief one second eye contact before immediately looking away awkwardly)

Can't wait for Zoya to go away from that excuse of a house to the Khan mansion even though her bond with her brothers is adorable.
Her and Asad/ Dilshads pasts brought tears to my eyes. I'm sure there's much more to Asad's. And it's going to be even more heart wrenching.

Would love to see more Azlan & Asad and Zoya & Anwar scenes. I absolutely loved them. Of course, I cannot wait for the Asya ones too, especially now that they will be under one roof.

Omg!!! Pari khan?!?!?! Who's is the little girl?!?! My head is overloading with all the twists and turns. Nice twist though!
As always. Very well written updates. I feel for zoya. She took a desicion for her aapi but it has to be very though on her to break all the emotional ties with her family. The boding between zoya and her brothers is so adorable and sweet.
Asad has me a bit confused. I'm not able to guess if he's a positiv or grey character. Waiting eagerly how his part in the story develops.
And finally, asya under one roof!!! Really looking forward to se how their relationship is going to play out. Stormy, passionate and intense I'm assuming.
