well what the mysterious chieftain is going to do with our dear mahira is something future updates will tell 😆. yaa the villagers think they r cursed, some evil spirits torment them during night time and because of this trouble nobody visits them from outside world, forget a young unaccompanied woman at night time, isiliye they thought Mahira is a wicked spirit or something devilish moreover she had the persons accompanying her whom these village people dislikes most. so they become more suspicious .

This chapter gave a quick pick to the characters of this story... some new characters were introduced... came to know about the dark mystery of janjigarah, its curse and its mysterious chief who lives uphill surrounded by evilness and desired for young woman to please himself... (it reminds me of dracula though!!😆) ... quite amusing and mysterious this part is..
We got a pick onto mahira's past life... how she got tormented by her khala and zarroon.. (OMFG di Zaroon😲... humare pyare bhole bhale zaroon miya koo evil bana diya aap ne?!😆)..such a gloomy period of history where eduated and knowledgeable woman's were said to be witch!! the girl is running away from her past unknown to what her future holds, another nightmare or a new ray of hope for her...
will be waiting for next chapter.. good going di.. even keeping the history part u engrossed us well in this story.👍🏼 thanks for PM..

it is actually a dark gothic supernatural novella without a medieval european settings and our own country serves the backdrop and itz more exciting because of that. itz our own past and I am feeling very moditaved writing it being a history buff myself. thank u ria for such a wonderful review. I fell so overwhelmed with all of u guys posting such nice supporting positive responses and i hope, I just hope I can live upto ur expectations.
p.s- haan bechara zaroon, I used the name, coz it was a common name of those days, just think of someone devilish instead of his cute happy go lucky face !😆

The armed men pelted stones at them though these two men were jaigirdar's companions. This is really confusing !!
Mahira dreamt of her vicious khala and her son rather than those whispering spirits . The last part reveals the misery she lived.

''Vengeful claws grabbed her hair and dug their nails to her scalp, dragging her to the tiny windowless cellar room.''

I find these words harsh but they describe her khala's cruelty.

The folk think that their chieftain is cur and hunts girls for pleasure , Is that true ?? waiting forward the next chapter !!
