Hello amazing people. I am back again with another story on asya.This story is continued from the time Karan left the show. and till then the story same as in the show . There is a twist here which you will come to know when you will read this. Please tell me if I should continue it or not and if you guys want to read more or not. CHAPTER-1
It was a night of mid-autumn.The clocks had struck 12 a long time back. It looked like the whole city was under some spell and was sleeping peacefully wrapping a cloak of calm and peacefulness around itself. A soothing silence was ruling the whole area and only the whispers of wind could be heard. The sky was dark like deep black silk. The stars were smiling brightly like diamonds , illuminating the whole sky. The moon was glowing softly , giving the whole atmosphere a heavenly touch. The gentle winds seemed to carry some deep secrets in their hearts which were only known to the trees whom they caressed lovingly. At this time a SUV entered the driveway of Khan Villa. A girl dressed in formals came out of the car and made her way towards the main door. She entered the house after opening the door with the spare keys which she had. The girl sighed sadly seeing the house dark and understood that everyone had retired to their room for the day. She silently tiptoed towards the kitchen to get something to eat. The girl was about to open the fridge when someone put her hand on her shoulder and she jumped in horror. She was about to scream when she turned around and visibly calmed down seeing the person.
THE GIRL- Oh Phuphi! It's you! You scared me!
Dilshad felt sorry seeing her trying calm down her heartbeat keeping a hand on her chest and felt guilty for scaring her unknowingy.
D- Zoya beta I am really sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. It was just that I saw you coming and...
Zoya cut Dilshad mid-sentence and said- It's ok Phuphi. You don't need to say sorry for such a small thing. I just got scared because I didn't saw you coming. By the way why are you still awake and didn't go to sleep?
D- Have I ever slept before your arrival?
Zoya nodded her head in no and Dilshad said- Then how can I do it today, hmm?
Zoya just smiled softly in return and Dilshad felt really sad seeing the tiredness on the poor child's face.
Dilshad caressed her hair and asked softly - Why are you so late today beta?Is there any problem in office?
Zoya held her hand on her check and replied-It's nothing Phuphi. Actually we have a very important meeting next week and I was working on the presentation for it and lost the track of time.
D- You shouldn't take so much pressure beta. Now you go to your room and freshen up. I will call you after heating the food.
Zoya nodded and left for her room. Dishad looked at her retreating figure helplessly. It has become a routine now. Everyday Zoya goes to office early morning and comes home after everyone is asleep. Her life now moves around only two things, one is her family and other is her work. She works day and night. She hardly took a break in the past two years. She has become a complete workaholic, just like HIM. She has told Dilshad many times not to wait for her because it will effect her health. But how can a mother stop herself from waiting for her daughter. Dilshad couldn't see Zoya like this. She tried very hard to bring her out of her shell but nothing worked. It was like she was just a living corpse whose life was snatched from her. Dilshad didn't has the courage to look into her eyes, the eyes which were once filled with mischief and joy now have nothing but emptiness and heart-wrenching pain. Dilshad prayed to almighty everyday to give back her daughter's happiness but deep down in she also knew that it was impossible because the person who was the sole source of her every happiness was never going to come back. Dilshad sighed dejectedly and proceed to heat the food.
NEXT MORNING:
The sun rose marking the beginning of the new day and promising a lots of new hope. However for Zoya it didn't make any difference. For her, her days were as dark as her nights because the light of her life wasn't with her. For her every new hope was as hopeless as her present. For the world she might be a strong woman, but in reality she was just a broken soul who have lost her everything. She was only breathing for her family, to fulfil the promise she gave him but her heart has stopped beating a long time ago, she was dying a thousand deaths everyday, every minute without him.
Zoya woke up feeling the sunlight on her face and saw that it was only 6am.The girl who once loved sleeping more than anything now couldn't sleep peacefully even for a moment. Zoya smiled sadly at her thought and made her way towards the washroom.
AT THE DINING AREA
Dilshad came downstairs to see that Humehra was already in in the kitchen and has completed making the whole breakfast.
D- Good morning Humehra beta.
H- Good morning badi ammi.
D- Beta why are you doing all this alone? You should have called me. I would have helped you beta.
H- It's okay badi ammi. Actually I woke up early today, so I thought why don't I make a special breakfast for my super special family today? and by the way doctor has told you to not take any stress. So you should only focus on your health , okay?
D- Ok my ammi.
Humehra smiled cheekily and Dilshad caressed her hair lovingly.
D- Where is everyone else?
H- Who Dadi has gone to the mazar, Nuzzhat is working on her project in her room and abbu has gone for his morning walk, he must be coming any moment now.
D- And where is your 'woh'?
H- Janab is still in his 'bistar-e-khas' , dreaming happily in his dreamland.
Humehra made weird faces while talking and Dilshad shook her head smilingly at her antics.
D- Humehra give me Zoya's coffee, I will give it to her.
H- You take your tea only and I will go and give baji her black and bitter coffee. I really don't know how can she drink so bitter coffee!
While Humehra wondered to herself, Dilshad smiled sadly.
D- Sometimes I really can't believe that how a girl like Zoya who couldn't stand the slightest of bitterness,has closed all the doors for sweetness to enter her life today.
H- I know badi ammi. Whatever happened 2years ago have taken away all sweetness, all colour, all happiness from her life. But my heart says that something will definitely happen in her life which will bring back all her happiness in her life.
D- Only to see that day I am living till now. Otherwise what reason is left in life to live? and with that her eyes became moist.
H- You again started saying all those negative things. How many have I told you to not say things like that? We all are with you ,then why do you always say such things? Everything will be alright, okay? and now I have to go to baji to give her the coffee before she blasts like a volcano on me.
Dilshad smiled through her tears and nodded her head and Humehra went towards Zoya,s room.
ZOYA'S ROOMz;
Humehra knocked zoya,s room door. She finally entered the room after 5minutes on getting no reply and found the room empty. She was wondering where Zoya can be when the bathroom door opened and Zoya came out.
H- Baji I have brought your coffee.
Z- Thank you Humehra but I was thinking to join everyone at the breakfast table today.
H- That will be great baji but your office?
Z- I have less work pressure today.
Humehara was hesitating to ask something and sensing her hesitation Zoya asked her what was the matter?
H- Baji can I ask you something?
Z- Of course Humehra. You don't need to hesitate at all.
H- Baji you work till late then how come you wake up before everyone?
Zoya smiled sadly hearing her question and said- To wake up, you first have to sleep Humehra. When the sleep has ever come to me from the last 2years?
There was a deep silence from both side at her statement which was broken by Humehra. She left the room to set up the breakfast and Zoya strted to get ready for her office.
AT THE DINING TABLE:
When Zoya reached there , everyone was already sitting there. Dilshad, Rashid, Ayaan, Humehra, Dadi , Nuzzhat, her whole family was there except the most important person of her life, the person who would have been the happiest person on earth if he could see his Ahole family sitting together, chatting and laughing. A lone tear escaped her eyes and fell on her check but as soon as she realized this she quickly wiped her tears and keeping her thoughts aside joined everyone for breakfast. They all were chatting and Zoya was silently eating her food. From the past 2years the scene is like this. Everyone has tried really hard to indulge her in a conversation but nothing seemed to work. Suddenly Zoya's phone rang and she excused herself to attend the call. She came back after few minutes and informed everyone that she has to leave urgently because an important meeting has come up.
D- But beta you didn't even finished your breakfast properly.
Z- I will eat something from the cafeteria but now I have to go.
AYAAN- Mona do you want me to come with you?
Z- No Rabart. You don't need to come. I can handle this one myself and you have to handle the next meeting.
A- Are you sure?
Z- Yeah
A- Then ok.
Zoya quickly told everyone good bye and left. After Zoya left Rashid spoke-
- To fight her pain, this child has drowned herself completely in work. It looks like she has forgotten the real meaning of life. The girl who used to be another name of life, has now stopped living her own life.
Hearing his statement everyone got lost in their thoughts but the main thing was common in their thoughts...Zoya.
DILSHAD CONSTRUCTIONS:
Zoya entered the office and went straight towards the conference room to attend the meeting. The meeting ended after 2hours. Zoya went to her cabin to take some rest. She was sitting on her chair closing her eyes and her back was facing the door when someone tapped her shoulder. She was startled. She turned around and was left shocked seeing the person standing in front of her.
