She let her tears running along her cheeks, her eyes trapped pain, sadness, hurt and hope, he lied to her all this time, he lied to her and he manipulated her, he lied to her, all were lies, just lie, LIE LIE LIE, and this words didn't stop to ring in her mind, piercing her heart a thousand time. She was about to tell him that she fell in love, but he broke everything with his bitter truth. She felt something familiar from the beginning but she never thought that Leo was the man that she saved that day, that the man that she wanted to erase pain from his eyes was Leo, that from the beginning, it's was Leo and not any stranger. She was so confused and she didn't know what to say, all she can feel was anger and rage, to be fool by him. She gripped on this picture tightly crashing between her palms.
-Zed..., he tried to talk but she slapped him again, he was tensed and he expected her reaction but he didn't bother, he had to face consequence of his secret, she might have changed with ages but her anger was still the same. Listen to ...She slapped him again and each time, she slapped, she hit harder until her hand started to hurt her. Zoya, slap me as much as you can, I won't stop you. He said holding her gaze.
She raised her hand but he didn't blink once, she closed her hand in fist, she wanted to slap him until to calm her pain, but she knew that nothing will soothe the volcano that he created. She turned her back and hide her face in her palms, breathing heavily. It was a nightmare, she was dreaming, nothing happened here, it was just a joke, just a stupid joke. She was hurt deeply and felt her heart aching with his real identity, all this time, she was with him and when she decided to turn the page of her past, it came back to slap her on her face a hundred time, reminded her that she will never escape her pain.
-Why did you come back? She finally asked bitterly.
-I was looking at you for so long, Zed
-why? She glared at him, why Leo? When you asked me YOUR-SELF that you don't want to see me again? Why did you look for me? To take revenge? To hurt me? To manipulate me? Is this why you look for me? Her words constricted in her troath, she was ready to move on with him, with Asad but now, she only had tears and notch that his love left in her heart. How she felt a deep sorrow, the day she decided to open her heart to him, she faced only a ghost. She laughed loudly at the ironic fate, she cried and laughed at the sadistic destiny who fooled her.

He bent down and collected delicately each of them like it was the most precious thing and his heart cried silently in pain. She wanted to apologize and to hold him but she can't, she closed her eyes to stop her tears and left quickly, before she finished by doing something stupid.
She closed the door behind her but she still could feel and saw his sadness, she felt herself pulled back to his room, her heart fought with her ego asking her to go back and to hold him, but she stepped and ran as far as she can from this room. She ran but her heart was still yelling at her to go back to him, to her love, her heart told her its truth but her mind reminded her his lies. In this battle, her heart felt lonely and helpless to go back to the one that it loved. She needed to breath, to clear her mind with all this mess, how all crashed in a blink of eye. She kissed him giving him her love but he said the unexpected truth, inside of her, she felt something about him, but never admitted that Asad was Leo. He changed a lot, she wasn't at fault , she found excuse to justify her blindness. She cried her heart out, cried for this encountner, for this day, for him and because of him, she felt emotional seeing how he became and couldn't stop herself to feel hurt for him.
-it can't be Leo, it can't be, he was supposed to have a perfect life but ...Asad and Leo were totally different, it seemed that Asad took the opposite road and he choose to live in the memories and to never move on. However only one thing remained was the love that they had for her. Love? She thought sadly, was it love to lie? Was it love to hide? Was it really everything fair in love and war? The war was inside of her, he lied to her, and he chose to keep hiding behind a curtain, behind a new person. She looked up to the sky asking for answer:

She will today move on for sure, she gripped and was about to throw it but she stopped in the midway. Her palm refused to open, her palms refused to be separated from him. She sat heavily on the floor and held on it thigh.

The day after
It was the time for him to leave, he didn't close his eyes the whole night, he felt so guilty for spoiling her birthday, he shouldn't have break her heart in her day, he should have control his emotion, but 13 years, that kiss and her beautiful figure between his arms gave him to much confidence, he dreamt about a miracle but it didn't come. He kept tossing and turning in his bed recalling her face. He needed to talk to her, he needed to clarify and he can't go without seeing her. He went outside to sign for his discharge and wished to see a glimpse of her, he stayed as long as he can to discuss with the nurse and didn't know how to ask fo her. He took his bag, maybe, he will have to come another time, and he turned and saw her standing in front of him, staring into his eyes. He smiled relieved seeing her but she didn't smile back and turned her face disgust and disappointed clear in her face. She came to the nurse to give them some patient's file, avoiding to look at him. He followed all her moves and saw the small bag under her eyes and felt guilty for her swollen eyes.
-Doctor Farooqui, I need to talk to you, he knew that asking her in front of the nurses, she will be trapped and will be force to respond to him.
-please can you classify this case, she kept talking to the nurse pretending that she didn't hear him, and she left his side.
Asad sighed annoyed in silent and went behind her, calling her again but she kept walking away, he then held her wrist, she glared at his hand on her and then at him, ordering him with her eyes to leave her.
-I need to talk to you, Zoya, he pleaded, and she jerked from his grip and turned her heels to leave.
It was too much for him, and she made him loose his temper. He grabbed her elbow and pulled her with him with force. She tried to untie his grip but he was not in a mood to free her easily, he wanted to talk to her and she will have to listen. He dragged her to the roof and pushed her again the door once he closed it.

-NO, leave me alone, she pushed him but he clasped both of his arms around her and tightened his grip around her, her face was really close to him. Asad, leave me.

-what do you want to say after yesterday? That you are sorry for hiding the truth? For hiding to me who you are? For spoiling my life? What do you want to say? Your actions talked enough for you yesterday, so please spare your saliva and don't waste my time and your time, Asad. I just want you to leave me all alone and to go back to your life.

Zoya felt emotional and bad, she remembered have heard her name that day but thought it was part of her imagination and her hope to see him, so he came and she didn't imagine anything. Did it change anything, now to know this? She wondered.
-Asad leave me, please, she asked soflty, she can look into his pleading eyes, it made her feel weak.

-free yourself, he closed his grip more challenging her to leave. She looked at him with defiance and started to struggle under his grip, but he didn't move for a single inch. She took all her force, but he trapped both of her arms that the only thing that she managed to do was to grimace under his arms. She hissed with so much effort but she didn't shake anything in him. She glared at him, clearly frustrated to be handcuff.
-I am not anymore that weak Leo, Zed, I am not anymore this sweet Leo. His eyes dressed with rage and pain, I am not anymore this Leo who would have hide, scared that you might kick his ass, I am not anymore that one who will run away to save his life. I won't let you go easily and sooner you will understand this, sooner, you will know that you are not enough strong to face me. I am Asad today and I want you in my life, and I will have you by hook or by a crook. You can stay angry as much as you want, you can push me away, you can hate me, you can hurt me, you can kill me, I don't care, but at the end, you will be with me and I will have your entire life only for me, I will gain your heart and I will love you like a man should honor HIS woman, and you are the woman of my heart and my life. I didn't suffer for 13 years to step back because you asked me or because you are angry. I am here to stay and from today, I will be your shadow until I get you back. Is that clear for you, Zoya?

He trapped her lips between his and she fought to escape him but, her head was now between his face and the wall, that the only thing she can do was to push him, but her lips were now fully in his. Both fought for dominance and he kissed roughlty. She wanted to hurted him but he was insensitive to her bites, she only made him groan. She was slowly loosing the battle to be free from him, she tried to keep her eyes open as long as possible but his assault was driving her crazy and she was craving to answer to that crazy kiss. She rolled her eyes trying to find anything to stay clear mind, but it was just a torture to her. She knew if she closed her eyes, she will loose everything, and she will give him what he want and she didn't want to surrender easily. He stepped back finally and both were breathing into each other mouth.
-Asad, she growled but it only sounded as a moan
He wrapped again her lips and kissed her again with intensity and hunger,that she closed her eyes for a second, but she opened them again. She was fighting with her mind to keep her out from the deepness of love where he was taking her, she begged her mind to stay strong, because her heart decided to make his entry. She groaned frustrated in his mouth and he thought that she moaned in pleasure, he intensified his moves and the intensity escalated a dangerous level for her. She closed her eyes again little longer this time, forgetting about her resolution. She started to dive into that kiss when he stepped back. He looked into her eyes and found only desire in them asking for another dance of lips.

This time, he was slow and tender with her lips and this time, she lost herself, she closed her eyes and threw away all her fight. She responded and her heart melt with so much caring and love. It was her time to be demanding for him and she finally submitted to her desires and to him. He didn't loosened his grip, he didn't want to take any risk. He finally felt her relaxing and answering to him, he smiled softly between the kiss and thrusted her again and again, until, both couldn't breath.
He posed his forehead on her and he watched her trying to catch her breath with eyes closed. He admired her swollen lips and wanted to kiss them again, but he should let her sometimes. He wanted her totally and he knew that kissing her made both of them loosing control. He kissed her cheek, her forehead, her other cheek and he pressed soflty her lips this time.
-I will let you go now but I won't leave your side, never ever again. He whispered with authority but she couldn't answer, she was still under the effect of thoses crazy kisses and his possessiveness. One thing now that she was sure, it was not anymore Leo, it was Asad, a man who kissed her madly and she smiled inwardly with this charisma and strength that he showed her. He made her feel like a true woman and he only showed her how much she was beautiful and loved.
He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, telling her that he loved her and left her here. She felt suddenly empty and cold with this lack of his body, his kisses and his arms around her. She slidded along the wall and fell on the ground, realizing that her legs were not anymore able to take her weight, if it wasn't him, she would have fall long time ago. She touched her lips and she could still feel his moves on them, she hide her face between her palms:
-how I will manage now to resist to him? She felt so stupid and miserable, responding to that kiss, she just gave him enough reason to come back to her again. I hate you Asad Ahmed Khan for make me feeling so weak, so vulnerable, I hate you for make me fall in love with you, but I won't let you win easily and I will show you that Zoya can be formidable adversary. She was firm and determined to win this challenge.
One week later
It has been already one week and he didn't come after that day. At the beginning, she expected to see him standing in front of her every morning, waiting for him to annoye her to the core, but he didn't do anything. After their kisses, she mentally prepared herself to face him and to fight with him, but he didn't show up. The first day, she sighed relieved taking it as a chance to improve her plan to resist, but as the day came the one after the other, she was helpless, she missed him a lot but she will never confess to herself. He just diseapered like she asked him, maybe something happened to him? She thought. And as always, the only battle that she failed to win was against her heart and with her mind they became a perfect enemy since that day. During this week, she opened again her box and watched all his picture, she realized that he really changed a lot but there was some details that she missed to notice, his eyes and his smile, how she was blind by his plastic that she failed to recognize him, but he didn't miss to recognize her. The woman that he talked in the roof was only her and when he played the piano, it was indeed for her and only her. Her heart melt again but her mind flashed his lies and his hurtfull words. She was so lost and she needed to see him, but to show him not because she missed him.
She stood in front of the mirror and tonight, she was invited to charity party that her hospital was involved. They were supposed to collect money and all the doctors were invited to give a good impression. She was not kind of person who went to this kind of parties but she just needed a distraction for the moment. She opted for a white long dress sleevless and backless, her hair with long curls fully opened and separated in two on her front.
She came to the place and it was impressive, many guest, big and beautiful place, it was indeed a big ceremony. Today, she decided to forget everything about him, to enjoy this party and for a change she will do thing she was not used to do. At the entry, she could find many mask proposed for the guest, she found this idea funny and playfully, she took one, it was her first masked ball afterall. She found her collegues and discussed with them, they finally succeeded to distract her mind and she started to relax and to appreciate the music. However, she felt eyes on her, but with all of them covered, it was hard to know who was staring at her back. It must be her dress, it gave a sexy view of her back, she turned to find those eyes and she found Adam coming to her with a twinkle of appreciation in his eyes. She gave him an awkward smile and turned her gaze to her friends. She continued to talk when below Adam's shoulder she thought have seen him but she wasn't sure and he already diseapered. She shook her head; she was really seeing him everywhere.
The party was enjoyable with a good food, good music and good company. Adam proposed to the ladies to fill their cup and he left, Zoya followed him going away, when her eyes caught a strange silhouette. She excused herself and followed him. She went behind but she lost his trace, she felt annoyed and stupid, asking herself what she was doing and why?
She crossed the dancefloor, trying to find a way to join her friends, when she felt an arm around her waist pulling her to the dance floor.

He groaned in pain, she was really playing dirty with him and she seemed to be satisfied with her torture. He encircled his arms around her waist and lifted her up. She didn't expect this that she gasped in horror, she didn't want him to make any drama.

She felt so low to be manipulate and to feel weak in front of him. She needed to regain her pride and she felt her ego touched with his confidence. He didn't understand why she resisted while he was sure that she wanted him too, but the pain and the hurt in her eyes made him feel a doubt about her.
