LOL Juhi..I dunno how to make you understand this. I am not rooting for him to be an awesome hero. This show has taught me well after what they did with Rehaan. I am only enjoying his scenes with Jannat/Sanam until I like his character. I am not in love with the couple. But they are super cute. They remind me of SeHaan and he reminds me of Rehaan. He is a gentleman and I like that. The minute he changes, I will stop watching. I have no attachment to them, just a very mild liking. I will not fall for any couple in this show ever. I only watch his scenes because he is a refreshing change from jerk heroes on Indian TV. Once he turns into a villain or whatever, I will quit. It's as simple as that. I like them, but in a very detached way, know what I mean? Their fate, whatever it is, will not bother me for sure.

Haven't seen much of him as I'm only reading the written updates of his scenes as of now, and only watching scenes with Aahil in them, but it sickens me that he is so selfish in his obsession with that Kapoor guy... that he's basically hoping that Sanam doesn't get her memory back just so she can help him in his mission or whatever (I did see this scene..). I do like Varun Tookrey, though. Not only is he eye candy but he is pretty good at playing a stern army officer.

I feel like he is being hated for all the wrong reasons. People are upset that KV is leaving the show and I understand that, but bashing the new character is not the way to go.

My post just described what watched on the episode.

Shaad is a man on a mission who is hell bent on punishing this dangerous Shashi Kapoor person for his crimes and for the recent murder of his best friend.

He finds a woman in distress who has forgotten who she is. He is protective. But when she mentioned witnessing the murder he felt a impatient and pressed her for the information and was frustrated when she couldn't give anymore.

I never said he manhandled her at all.

What I was trying to imply is , there isn't any romantic vibes from Shaad to Jannat. Yet.

That is all. People should watch the episode before discussing character motivations don't you think?

Yes I heard Aahil is being replaced.

Yes it's heart breaking.

But KV looks happy and so does SJ.

While his wife is romancing another man in Pakistain, he is stuck at home with his unwanted second wife who's pretending to be pregnant! Same plot re hashed with Asad Tanveer and her pretending her baby is Asad's! Even the idea is not original!

As for Shaad? I protest to the way he worried Sanam would get her memory back in case she forgets Shashi Kapoor! He now wants to keep Sanam with him, instead of trying to make inquiries about who she is, because she is a witness to his friend's death! Well coz she saw Shashi Kapoor! I think his actions are not selfless, they are just of someone who wants to use Sanam to get his mission completed! Yes he is looking after her. But only coz it is helping him as well! He is not some romantic hero. He is a solider on a mission!

Won't deny he's a soldier on a mission but he was looking after her even when he was unaware she witnessed the murder Mandy. He took her with him, was caring, kind, understanding, gentle. He cooked her food, even when all she was; was a bewildered female.

I am not saying he is selfless but his reasons are airtight and almost noble. She witnessed a terrorist murdering an army man. She is in grave danger. Even if he sends her off to her family, all that will do is give him more people to protect because her family will be in danger too.

So why not keep it simple. And he did try to tell her the truth but the doctor told him not to. Why would he endanger her mental and physical heath? Also, he is unaware just how long she has been missing. He thinks the riot is when she lost her memory. He must expect her family to go to the police and file a missing person's report and then he will take her back.

We shouldn't be so hasty in judging him. He's a good guy. Selfishness is not a crime. Everybody is selfish and his selfishness is about safeguarding millions of lives in the process.

I can say only one thing shajan fans enjoy ATM. Because cvs are know for building a new love story excellently & breaking it brutally. Since the replacement is sure 4 Ahil we all know sahil is the end game slowly towards the end they will make shad too negative like sanam 2 & faiz. Please don't come up with rehan as eg. As every one is not sanam2 & faiz every one is not rehan too. Also I really don't want shad seher story. They can bring a new guy for her if they want a new story for her. Not shad. Even though fake or invalid they are in a marital relationship. ( sources from sets says they will get married & shad falls for jannat eventually). So the case is completely different from of rehan. Rehan's one sided love for sanam he was not even able to express to her. B4 he could she became his bhabhi. What irked him was he thought sahil was in a forced marriage because he was unaware of the attraction from both sides & tanveer's revelation of sahil contract marriage. There too he didn't do anything for sanam just he thought he will wait for her. He actually could have saved her. So both the situations are different. Shajan won't take there marriage to next level as shad is aware that she has memory loss & her identity is not known. But still the there is a marital relationship because of which I don't want seher & shad together. As I said they can bring a new man for seher. Or if not turning in negative he can walk out with dignity from sahil's life after sanam regaining her memory. Not necessary everyone's love life to be shown.
